• Alexandra (2/5): Very bad experience in a dirty apartment with rude host - the only thing good about this apartment is the location: super central and close to the beach. I had a very experience with this apartment: I rented it during the Carnival week and for the high amount we paid, it is not worth it. here are some examples: - check in: the owner contacted me on wzp for my documents and sent me what it was supposed to be the indication to enter the apartment: there was no way to access the building ( I had to wait for someone to let me in, which is not always easy), there was a random code sent without any explanation and a wifi password that was uncorrect. - cleanliness: despite I booked for 2 people (and the owner knew since she asked for two documents) there was only one set of towels: they were old, with holes and they smell was not fresh. in the toilet there was another towel who was dirty and full of stains. We asked the owner to change them and she replied after 2 days - asking for pictures because she didn't believe it! she never even apologized for the discomfort. also the toilet and the shower were not clean at all. - facilities: the apartment had NOTHING - from handsoap to hairdryer.

• Ioana (6/5): Rude owner and noisy street - fantastic location! clean minimalist design with almost everything you can need for a shorter stay (if you don’t need to cook). clean apartment and friendly security officer downstairs. The owner was very rude to me, constantly speaking in portuguese even if I told her I can’t speak - she was beyond rude. She wasn’t able to give proper instructions on how to get inside of the building and use her keys to open the 2 doors downstairs. I was all alone at 22:30 on the streets and she did not make any effort to explain how to use the keys - luckily some neighbours walked in and let me inside the building. I was so scared and frustrated with the experience and her unprofessional rude treatment! Also, the street is SUPER noisy! buses, motors, drunk people, even a construction site that started at 23:00 in my last night and lasted well past 2am with all the bells and whistles.
