Joanna (10/5): Beautiful hotel with phenomenal service and food, made us feel at home - Very comfortable, stylish and peaceful. Beautifully restored period property with all the mod cons (great shower), tastefully decorated and with lovely ambiance. Spaces outside and inside, great location for exploring Lijiang ancient town on foot. Breakfasts and afternoon tea out of this world, we are still talking about them a month later. Amazing service, warm, friendly and thoughtful. The room equipped with lots of quality gifts to make your stay comfortable, and with some well thought out items to borrow when needed. Nothing

Jade (9/5): Perfect for a more quiet, elevated experience on the outskirts of the ancient town. - Gorgeous, quiet place with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The vibes are perfect if you like a more quiet, serene vibe as it’s not in the middle of the ancient town, but on a lesser travelled alley in the outskirts of the ancient town. The interior design is stunning, with a very natural and elevated feel. The staff were friendly (although you need to communicate in Chinese), and they went above and beyond to ensure our time with them was comfortable. Such a lovely surprise! Not much, the room temperature was a bit hot at night because we couldn’t turn on the aircon unless we asked them to do it prior.

Plus, the architecture reflects the local style of Lijiang, full of traditional Chinese cultural charm. What’s more, the hotel staff provides excellent service. I’m very pleased with my stay and would highly recommend it.
