Guest Reviews
- Anonymous (1/5): Great place, bad room - Since i lived at the first floor there was a hot water supply and whenever the neighbors used the water it made so much sound. The floor was really dirty.
There was a problem with hot water and they only fixed it after i came in the room. The photos on internet dont look like the actual room.
- Ford (1/5): Hosts cancelled on the morning of the trip. - N/A Hosts cancelled on the morning of the trip so my party and I were stuck in London with no accommodation booked.
They said there was a leak and enclosed some generic pics of water droplets on a white background. By the time I got to the message (I was driving all morning and couldn’t check my phone) it was an hour before check-in, and we had nowhere to go.
I had a feeling it would happen, as during the week leading up to the trip, communication was sketchy at best and the hosts wouldn’t provide us with the full address of the property.
I should have trusted my instincts.
I don’t know why Booking.com subject us to such unreliable hosts. It’s a very poor reflection on their company.
I’ll wait for the hosts to come back with a smart remark now, like they seem to on every other bad review. If they actually listened to guests comments their rating may be better, but it seems it’s never their fault.
- Govender (3/5): Disastrous Accommodation - Only the location Everything is old and not maintained.
Unit not serviced, old small towels.
No toiletries, no toilet paper, toilet don’t flush properly
- Laura (8/5): Very good - This is a lovely spacious apartment in an absolutely fantastic location for exploring London.
The host was really good at answering any questions we had, and even allowed us a later check out.
Great stay, and would definitely recommend 👌 The boiler does make a noise, but it didn't affect our sleep as it is located away from the bedrooms.
The only reason we couldn't rate 10/10 is the dated, slightly tired, decore and limited toilet roll.
- Tony (7/5): Good -
- Rachel (5/5): Good Location - The location was good for our family The photos of the property on this site were not of this property. Carpet was very worn and floor had a lot of soft boards. No information on how to use equipment. TV didn’t work.
- Lisa (9/5): Superb - Great location
- Erica (7/5): Really only a one bed - Location Is said two bed apartment
However the 2nd BDRM had the dining table sofa TV and bed in it.
- Janet (7/5): Good value for money int central location - Great location Very basic but for the price it’s to be expected
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Celine (1/5): Substandard rental with bedbugs - The location of this property is good. The flat was not cleaned from its previous rental when we collected the keys at 4:30 pm. Cleaning was therefore done in a hurry and badly with the used sheets from the previous guests hidden in a cupboard for the time of our stay.
There is a ventilation issue and we had to insist to obtain the windows keys and be able to properly air the place.
The staff who came to clean and drop toilet paper and some last minute things was nice but clearly not trained in the hospitality business and neither aware of hygiene standards.
The flat needs work and maintenance from professionals to be worth the price paid.
More critically if this was not enough, my husband got bitten two nights by bedbugs (see pictures) whose presence we identified after turning the mattress upside down.
No compensation was offered after reaching out on multiple occasions to the property owner and this platform.
Overall, a very bad experience with a very high price paid to rent a place from people who clearly have no idea of how to run a hospitality business.
- Ian (8/5): Great central place to stay, and quiet - Central, easy to find Sink in bathroom very poor soak away
For quickness , a microwave rather than a cooker would have been good, and knives to cut bread or vegetables
Couldn’t get Tv to show BBC, sometimes very slow wi if
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - Great property, perfect location
We will defo stay here again
- Lance (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Zack (1/5): Bad -
- Saunders (5/5): Wouldn’t stay again… - Great Location. Beds comfortable. Furnishing poor, bathroom damp and dirty. Could do with a lot of maintenance.
- Michaela (1/5): Awfully - The location was good. When you first enter the property after struggling with the key lock that had no explanation of how to use, you are struck with a stench of mildew and chlorine.
In the bathroom: the ceiling was black with what looked like mold, the bathtub faucet could not be turned off so water was running continuously, when taking a shower water would splash towards the back of the tub where it collected and ran on the floor which did not have a drain so a major puddle was created every time someone took a shower, the sink was clogged so you had to wash your hands fast so it didn’t fill up, tiles and grout broken or missing in spots and were dirty.
Kitchen: the faucet was completely loose, the drain strainers had no knob so you had to stick something in it to get hold of it or the water would fill up, the space between the counter and the wall where there is supposed to be caulking to fill the whole did not fill it by far, and there were almost nothing to prepare food and cook with in spite of the listing describing that you can cook in the kitchen. An oven but no oven pans or oven proof dishes.
The threshold between the hallway and both rooms were either completely missing or half was missing!
The internet/wifi only worked during certain hours, almost no TV reception, only what could be used with the nonworking internet during the evenings!
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
