• Veronica (10/5): Great Villa - The Villa is quite big, the mattress was comfy, the swimming pool is great, we were offered the washing machine but didn't need it, but the best thing is the host, Omar, who makes sure everything is perfect. He helped with boat transfers and meals. There were quite a lot of mosquitos, so make sure you bring repellent, but that's not anybody's fault.

• Chloe (10/5): A wonderful & beautiful haven in Luxor. - Villa Cleopatra is such a gem of Luxor. The location on the much quieter West Bank is wonderful, very close to the river where you can catch a motor boat or walk to the public ferry if you want to get to the East Bank. Omar, the host, was so fantastic, welcoming, knowledgable and sorted out so many activities / excursions and transport for us if we needed it. Even meeting us at 5am before we left for our hot air balloon trip to ensure we were picked up was so appreciated. He was amazing and made our first stop in Egypt a breeze. The villa itself is so beautiful and spacious too, and the private pool was such a plus! If we return to Luxor we would absolutely stay here again.

Het voelt alsof je in een hotel zit met alle faciliteiten, maar dat je toch lekker een eigen villa hebt. Het huisje was ruim, grote tuin met een zwembad. Het was ook een rustige wijk. Enigste wat misschien beter kan is de badkamer en de staat van het huis. Al denk ik wel dat deze staat in Egypte normaal is en dat wij in Europa anders gewend zijn.

Le propriétaire Saleh nous a fait l'honneur de nous récupérer à la gare routière avec sa voiture personnelle et de nous offrir le nécessaire (eau, biscuits pour les enfants). Arrivés sur place, il nous a fait sentir comme chez nous puis il a transmis le relais à Omar, le voisin. Omar a été exceptionnel ! Présent et disponible à tout moment, il est indispensable au bon déroulement de notre séjour : organisation des activités, restaurant, courses, au petit soin avec nos enfants,... Le tout avec une sincère gentillesse et sans ambiguïté (les tarifs sont connus, clairs et imbattables). Merci pour tout !

The private pool is a great chance to wind down after a long hot day, the house is very spacious and has a very nice and relaxing front yard with many plants and flowers. The location is also great, on the calm west bank, a few minutes walk from the public ferry taking you from/to the east bank. Omar was very helpful and proactive, always making sure we're enjoying our stay. The lighting in the house in the evening could be improved, the lamps are either too bright or have strong colors. The kitchen tableware is a bit old.

Restaurants and shops are very close. The calm garden and large swimming pool are a good escape from the busy city. 15 minutes ride with a bike to visit the acient places on the west bank.

La casa es amplia, con aire acondicionado, cómoda y está a pocos minutos del ferry público (25 libras egipcias), o de los botes que por 50 libras te llevan al otro lado. Yo estuve muy bien, porque era un lugar tranquilo, sin ruidos por la noche. Lo recomiendo sin duda. En cuanto a la persona que te recibe, Omar, siempre está pendiente de que estés bien, es muy amable y una persona que sabe hacer muy bien su trabajo. Gracias, Omar. El baño necesita remodelación, pero no afecta en absoluto lo bien que se está. Por lo demás, pues mucha paciencia con el acoso y derribo que hay por todos los lados. Mi consejo sería que no os fiéis de NADIE. Suena horrible , pero es mejor no confiar, y lo digo con mucha experiencia.Seguro que fuera del ámbito turístico la gente es como en todos los lados, pero en este SIEMPRE van a usar las buenas palabras, la amabilidad, comerte el oído...para sacar algo de tí. Y cuanto más mejor. Y si se puede, recomiendo mirar antes de ir los precios de excursiones, y demás, porque van a intentar, en todos los lados, sacar mucho más de lo que vale.

Omar is the best host ever, he helped us with literally everything and made us feel at home. He's a 10/10! The villa is gorgeous, cozy, and the pool/terrace area is perfect. It's on the peaceful West Bank, which is the area where the Valley of the Kings is located. We wish we stayed longer! Huge thanks to Omar for an amazing, perfect stay. Hope to be back! 💘

His wife made a delicious bountiful meal.which we enjoyed.. The villa is quirky and characterful rather than modern. Resident cat, Doria loves food and affection! The WiFi was patchy. The alley to villa Cleopatra is uneven underfoot as is the main road. A new pavement along the Nile has been constructed recently and the road will be attended to in due course

• Emma (10/5): PARFAIT - Tout était parfait. Le logement est super, il y a tout ce dont on a besoin et la piscine est un gros plus vu qu’il fait très chaud en Égypte. La personne qui s’occupe du logement (Omar) est juste génial, il s’est occupé de nous réserver toutes nos activités et il a veillé à ce qu’on ne manque de rien. Il nous a même accompagné dans Luxor pour se promener et aller au souk. Le quartier où se trouve le logement est très calme c’est très reposant. Il y a également un très bon restaurant à deux pas qui peut livrer la nourriture à la villa. N’hésitez plus c’est le logement parfait à Luxor !

They were right next door and the villa was as shown in pictures. Beautiful, cozy and homely. The pool was an added advantage. Omar was so kind that after checkout he even let us stay a few hours as our bus was delayed and it was very hot outside. At first after booking we were skeptical about staying on the West Bank, however, after staying here I wouldn’t want it any other way. I would stay on the West Bank over and over again as the people were so kind and the place was safe.

• Isabelle (9/5): Un endroit vraiment agréable - Une villa égyptienne: si vous cherchez un truc parfait, bien fini, type "occidental", ce n'est pas ici. Mais vraiment, c'est très confortable, grand, et bien équipé : 2 chambres avec de bons lits doubles. Un salon avec un grand canapé, pratique. Je ne me suis pas servi de la cuisine, à part le frigo et la bouilloire : elle a l'air bien équipée, mais je n'ai pas expérimenté. Le patio avec la piscine, les transats, un coin d'ombre avec table et canapé, est top. Des climatiseurs dans les chambres et le salon, très efficaces. Une machine à laver, en bon état, bien pratique et étendoir propre. Enfin, bien située, à proximité d'une supérette, du ferry public et de restaurants (le sunset, super bon). Bref, vraiment un excellent rapport qualité -prix, je recommande ! La salle de bain qui, comme souvent en Egypte, contient à la fois les toilettes, la douche, avec pas mal d'eau partout après usage...mais comme elle est bien grande, c'est supportable.

It’s also a short walking distance from most restaurants and Nile river. Despite the intense heat outside, the house was always very cool and surprisingly no mosquitoes. Also the host (Omar) was very kind and patient to wait for me for a very late check in. Very spacious villa and in general very good value for money. Liked everything. But perhaps a new sponge for washing dishes? Theres only an old rag to wash them. 👀😁

• Sacha (10/5): Exceptional - Superb villa, which in addition to being beautiful is very well located, in one of the nicest areas of Luxor, on the west bank, which is quieter and less crowded by tourists. To top it all off, Omar is a great host; he's very kind and hospitable, and will make you feel right at home. What's more, he'll always have good advice to share with you on how to organise your visits and the dos and don'ts. So if you have the slightest question, just ask him, he'll be your man.
• Nick (9/5): Spacious quiet place with a pool and terrace to relax - We generally liked the place a lot: - The villa is in a quiet area, close to boats and the public ferry, a nice restaurant is around the corner. Pretty close also to Valley of the Kings / Queens. - Our kids loved the pool where they could hang out easily, even without supervision. - There was enough space for all of us: 2 bedrooms, living room, nice outside terrace. It was nice to have the whole place just for ourselves. - Everything was fairly clean. Not completely sterile, but totally fine for a house. There were some leaves or flowers falling from trees and sometimes some wind blew a bit of leaves or sand into the house, but again it was totally fine for us. - The host was very welcoming and advised various activities based on our requests. Overall it was probably the best place out of others where we stayed in Egypt. Kitchen amenities and some furniture were a bit old, but we barely used the kitchen, so it wasn't a major setback.

From the moment I arrived, Mr. Omar, the host, was incredibly helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and assisting with anything I needed during my stay. The villa itself is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything you could ask for. Both bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning, making it very comfortable. The smart TV and free Wi-Fi were great for relaxing in the evenings. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for preparing meals, and having a washing machine was a huge plus. The private pool was an absolute highlight – a refreshing escape after exploring Luxor’s incredible sights! Location-wise, the villa is in a peaceful area near the Ramla Mosque, just a short distance from major attractions. Mr. Omar was always available to help with transportation and local recommendations. I highly recommend booking a hot air balloon ride through him – he ensures a fair price without hidden commissions. He also arranged tours with professional guides and reliable drivers, making my experience stress-free and enjoyable. For dining, I visited the recommended Sunset Restaurant, which had delicious local dishes. Getting around was easy with the Indriver app and the trusted drivers Mr. Omar suggested. Overall, my stay at Villa CleoPATra was fantastic! Saleh, the owner, was very responsive via WhatsApp, making everything seamless. I highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Luxor. But I especially loved Omar (our host) and Sayed (the driver whose details were shared by the property owner) They welcomed us very well with mint tea, they both shared a lot of helpful information and insights. I loved how quick Omar would respond to anything. We arrived at around 9pm and were hungry but he helped us to recommend and order food immediately and made sure that it was delivered to us quickly. He always checked on us to ensure that we are comfortable and was just amazing honestly. The location was also really really good! There is nothing I didn’t like.

Omar was super helpful and welcomed us on the day of arrival. He was responsive and answered all our questions, brought us groceries. He could help arrange tour as well. It has a beautiful garden with a private pool featuring a cool Egyptian design—perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The Wi-Fi is excellent, there's a large plasma TV, a kitchen, a shower, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. And the price is incredibly affordable. Highly recommend! It is located on the West Bank of the city, which is a quieter area with fewer shops and activities. Additionally, you have to take a boat to cross the Nile, which can be inconvenient

Omar was an excellent host, who was kind, informative, and always there to help, but more than comfortable leaving you to your own devices. A great host that I hope to see again! In parts the home has some natural wear and tear and the appliances and amenities are not the most modern, although this gives the property some charm and character away from the more sterile modern hotels.

• Meloqiao (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is great, including the host, contact before arrival, service, swimming pool and the room. The location is at west bank, not easy to drive there from the east bank but close to the air balloon in the morning.

• Steve (8/5): Overall a nice cozy home and the private pool made it very worthwhile and good value for the money. - Private pool was great, house has interesting and charming design. Neighborhood cats come to visit day and night, and we like cats, so that is bonus. House has nice little private garden and walls and keeps the dirty street out. Bathroom is primitive, water does not drain well, and soaks the whole floor of the room. Shower water is not adequately warm. Host should not be knocking on the door at all, especially at inappropriate evening hours. If he is needed, guest will go to him. Host, please recognize guest's privacy comes ahead of your need for baksheesh and pointless chitchat. The only requirement of the host is to hand over the keys upon arrival, everything else is optional at the guest's request.

• Xinyue (10/5): Cozy and quite villa in the West Bank, super kind host - Beautiful villa at the West Bank of Luxor, close to the private boat. The room is very cozy and comfortable, also has a well-equipment kitchen and a clean private pool. Mr.Saleh is super friendly and very helpful for the informations and travel advices. Mr.Omar is always available and very helpful as well. Highly recommended if you visit Luxor!

Leisure activities were also great, the pool was just brilliant, when I'm in Luxor again I will always book there, thank you very much for everything 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🥰🥰🥰❤️
