• Kyra-leigh (1/5): Smashed up cars and didn’t even check in - Didn’t even check in so nothing Check in time was agreed 12-1pm. The night before check in I messaged asking what time was check in. Heard nothing. So I arrived at the studio at 12:45 hoping to be greeted by the host but was not. Rang 5 times and messaged and got nothing. The photos below show the state of outside the house. But you don’t get the house you get the loft. Finally the host got in touch and he barely spoke English and kept saying he will upgrade but unsure on how he can do that as it’s literally a lift studio not a hotel and I come now but I was telling him I am not and that I can’t come now as I have booked another hotel and I am currently in Wembley for a concert. He then also started saying no refunds final which i understand but I didn’t even check in. I am an 18 year old girl and definitely did not feel safe staying at this studio. Been in touch with booking.com and they agreed that I should be refunded but still waiting for that.

• Paula (3/5): Access to transport was excellent but the apartment itself was disappointing. - The location was accessible to transport, both trains (2lines) and buses. The shower was small but there was plenty of hot water and good pressure. The property was not very clean and it was presented as newly renovated but it maybe was not that recent. It was unfortunate that the weather was very hot so the studio was a little hot box and with the windows open the road was very noisy.

• Brooke (7/5): fine for the price you pay in london - Honestly all the reviews really made us worry at first but it’s really not that bad for the price you pay. all it needs is a quick hoover and wipe down. it’s easy to get to and not far from the tube. there was only one fork which made eating between 2 a bit difficult.

• Josephine (3/5): not the best stay, but only needed to sleep in it so it did the job. - Was very dirty, hair on the floor, floor not mopped or swept, bathroom very filthy, 6pm check in

The fact I got there was given the wrong code, told I had to wait outside in the cold for 1hr until the owner got there as he did not have a different code. Also told I was early for 6pm check in when I arrived at 6:20pm. Place had rubbish (empty rappers) on the floor and a dirty towel on the side (kitchen counter). No WiFi available in the top floor studio as no booster was placed in the high building to reach so smart TV unable to use. Owner was not friendly, understanding nor seemed to be bothered about the fact he didn't provide no information once booking confirmed had to call for everything. No clear direction as to wear the room was, no numbers. No doors locked and locks not working. Also found a door in the bathroom which led to the stairwell.

• Jessica (1/5): DISGUSTING DO NOT STAY HERE - The only good thing about this property was there is nearby tube stations If I could give this 0 star I would. This property was absolutely disgusting so dirty and smelly, our room stank of rotting fish when we walked in, the door matt and bathroom matt were up neck in dirt and hairs, bathroom sink and shower covered in dirt grime and hairs. The toilet had skid marks and dust all around it. Several half used or 3/4 used toilet rolls just on top of the toilet. The kitchen was horrendous and the oven was thick in grease and dirt. The table in the dining area clearly hadn’t been wiped it had smears and dust all over it. Me and my partner checked in we looked around and then left straight away. I didn’t know if the bed sheets were clean. I called the owner to which he was very rude and unhelpful told us he thinks we’re scammers as we asked to be refunded as we will not be staying at the property. He said he think we have trashed the place which wasn’t true. He just didn’t want to refund us as he knew the place wasn’t adequate accommodation. Please avoid this place it’s extremely disappointing and by the looks of all the reviews everyone has had a problem with cleanliness.

It exceeded my expectations. - The studio was well furnished with everything that you might need, cooker,microwave, fridge/freezer, comfy sofa large TV and an in room ironing board and iron to iron shirts if you are on a business trip,

After called 3 times and send 4 messages requesting that! - The window in the kitchen it’s broken and doesn’t close properly and the noise from the motorway is too loud; - The whole flat was dirty (kitchen, floor, bathroom, and I wasn’t sure if the towels was clean so I bought new ones for myself); - The owner lives on ground floor! My thoughts is, they don’t care about, because it’s cheaper and they know people will keep booking it! Booking.com could be more serious and never let a place like that be listed at the platform!

I read other reviews and the owner had clearly taken heed as the apartment was clean, there was a tea towel and the shower worked fine for us. I loved the way it is decorated. It is near a main road, but I slept fine and I am a light sleeper. Would definitely stay here again! Incredible value for money. Nothing not to like

• Rubio (6/5): Very good price/quality place - The place was a 10 minutes from two underground stations, so the location was fine. The bed is comfortable but it has only one blanket. However, the heating worked good almost everyday. The room has a very good space for one or two people, good light with a big couch and a big TV. The WiFi was good. The host is very kind. He lend us some plug adapters for our electronic stuff. The studio is in the second floor of the house and the stairs are very narrow, so if you go with big luggage like us, you're going to have problems. From the main door through the stairs up to the door of the studio is very dirty. We saw the same big hairball in the entrance all the days we've been there. The studio was dirty too, not so dirty like outside, but dirty enough to make us wipe almost everything. The cleaningness is a very important issue in this place, so if you are a cleanfreak I would not recommend this lodging. Also, the house in near a high traffic zone and the acoustic isolation of the flat is very poor, so I woke up early in the morning everyday. Not a good place for lightsleepers. The last night we noticed that the heating went off and there was no hot water. We wrote to the host and said that he would look it but we had no heating all night. Lucky for us, we had hot water only in the shower at the morning. Anyway, is a cheap place.

• Shacqilla (6/5): An okay studio stay - I loved the location as it was very close to shops with great connecting train services. The studio was a perfect size for 2 with a large smart tv. The facilities provided in the kitchen was very helpful. Our host was always on call and very friendly towards any requests we had. I would say the cleanliness needs to be addressed as almost all areas were either dirty or full of dust which wasn’t nice to see but after we wiped things down it was okay. Throughout our stay there was continuous sparking noises coming from a plug which was quite frightening. I think this would be a great studio to stay at if the facilities get updated and the cleanliness improves.

Owner was friendly and wanted to help us have the best possible stay. Wifi is serviceable and there's a good quality TV. The studio lacked a sink plug and tea towels, which made cleaning dishes difficult. We got used to the studio being right next to a noisy road, but I wouldn't recommend this place for light sleepers,

• Myriam (8/5): Very good - The ost Is really kind and thoughtful. He helped us with everything and was really nice. The studio have everything u need, and the position is pretty good. The zone is quite, it's ten minutes walking from the metro station and there u can find two supermarkets quite big and open until midnight. It's not so cleaned. But i think it's ok for UK standard

No air conditionning that made the small romm with no kitchen table nor chair very hot and difficult to sleep. Kitchen is very small, One person is enough. no coffee machine available. But owner is very gentle. Exterior entry look like a dump et interior entry and stairs are dirty. But location is fine ; grocery store near and ''tube'' or Métro also. There was no breakfast. • Sinead (6/5): Good value for money - Room was a good size and nearly decorated. Good value for money. Although the room is good value for money you have to walk through the hallway of what appears to be large shared accommodation house. We made a late booking which we assumed would be accepted as booking.com processed the booking except it took an hour to get hold of the host then a 1 hour + before he could arrive to let us in. I forgot my expensive phone charger at the property, I notified the host so I could retrieve but he never got back to me about this. The bathroom wasn't cleaned very well, there was urine etc on & under the toilet lid. Floor was dirty,bathroom sink area was dirty too. That's the main improvement.
