Guest Reviews
- Drashell (7/5): Would have been a great stay if it weren’t for the construction all around. - The apartment itself is great. For such a small space the layout is good and they have made a good use of space. Nice big windows that let lots of fresh air in and also block out street noise well when closed. The appliances work good and there is plenty of storage for anything you want to hang or put away.
I stayed for over three weeks and liked the location away from the busy tourist center but still in a safe residential area.
Not too far from Vysherad, as the description says but the two main tram stations I used were Podolska Voldarna by the river and Praszkeho povstani for the red metro and to take the tram to shop at Pankrac. There are small market stands close by as well. I did like the location. I feel the communication of this company needs some work. They do not respond well on the booking.com app and I had to repeatedly remind them to send me check-in instructions because I was coming from Germany and wasn’t sure how the internet would be when I got to Prague. Also they never shared that there is ongoing construction and renovation work inside the complex. No one ever comes to clean up after so the walk to your apartment is caked with drywall dust and construction debris. The apartment itself was clean but no one ever cleans the shared spaces in the rest of the complex and it shows. Also, of course, I did not appreciate being woken up to sawing, hammering, drilling and loud sanding noises early in the am hours. Sometimes even before 7am and even some Saturdays! Why would you not disclose that the building is an active construction site? Multiple apartments are being renovated above and next to the apartment so this is not something you can just decide to not tell the person booking there.
- Inês (10/5): - The apartment is perfect for couples. It's very modern and has all the utensils for cooking!
The apartments place is very quiet, and the neighborhood is friendly. It is very close to metro station and has a variety of restaurants and coffee shops nearby.
- Glen (9/5): HQ for a geocaching trip - The apartment was well equipped with just about everything most people would need for a visit of more than a few days. It was comfortable for the most part. Short people could have some trouble with the kitchen stools.
- Mārtiņš (9/5): Great place - Well-equipped kitchen with all you need for cooking, dishwasher. Peaceful location with scenic views nearby and the city centre is easily reachable via public transit. Great instructions for check-in. Did not enjoy the high, wobbly chairs, but it was not that bad. Quite warm even with the window opened
- Zuzana (9/5): It is a small, but cozy place. Well equipped and maintained. So far everything new. Good location. - The place has a lot of nice little things, fully equipped kitchen, even a washing machine and a dishwasher, which I think is a bit unnecessary, as the place is small. I would prefer a microwave instead :D. They thought about details, such as kitchen cloth, teas, toiletries. It is a safe area and the metro station is 5 min walk. You have all the cleaning tools there too, in case of longer stays. The communication is quick, they are very responsive. I had trouble with the shower, it is great, nice, new, but had no proper sealing and the water went out over the whole floor, even to the entrance room and got all the rugs wet. I did not expect that, is not usual in our countries to have this kind of set up. I panicked a bit, seeing what happened and had to wipe for an hour. So a warning would have been helpful.
However, they responded to the situation and brought new rugs and towels next day, did not make a big deal out of it. Then I was more careful.
- Russell (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely small apartment, short walk to metro and some local shops in
- Radim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wie (9/5): Lovely new flat close-ish to the Vysehrad area - The flat is a newly renovated studio in a walk-up residential building. Located in the 1st floor (2nd floor for non-Europeans), with a view of the street outside. Getting the keys was easy, and the building was quiet during my stay. The nearest metro station is 8-10mins away (Tesco supermarket beside this), the trams going to the tourist areas were 10mins away downhill (uphill coming back to the flat), and the Vysehrad area is 15-20mins away by foot. Clean and quiet neighborhood, and highly recommend Restaurace Klika nearby!!
The flat was clean and well-equipped. Modern kitchen with an oven and a washer (no dryer), all utensils you need to cook are available too. Lots of storage and clothes hangers. Comfy and clean bed and linens. Maybe I was being a bit dumb, but hope the hosts can provide detailed instructions about the keys (1 for the flat and 1 for the building front door), plus instructions on the wifi password. Also, the heater is just okay during winter, not warm enough for me. But other than that, I had a wonderful stay and felt almost like a local for a few days! Definitely would stay again!
- Leon (10/5): Beautiful, cozy and clean place. - Beautiful place. Very cozy. Everything clean and modern. Everything necessary is provided. Good location. Btw perfect if you’re in Prague for a medical treatment at NeoVize clinic, as there’s a direct bus.
