- Mickalicious (10/5): Very good hosts, well appointed and a great spot. - The hosts seemed to have thought of all the little things that make life living out of a suitcase just a little easier. Access- arriving and departing with a car and luggage was difficult. On arrival there is nowhere to park and you can’t access carpark until you work through lockbox access in the building.

I didn’t realize when I booked the unit that we would be charged extra for parking. We booked and paid for car park at Rydges and couldn’t access it on our 2nd night.

Great communication from host. Pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Foyer had sewerage smell. Basement parking very tight and at additional cost.

- Arden (8/5): Overall, it was a pleasant stay despite inclement weather. The host was communicative, helpful. - The accommodation was comfortable, light and airy. The facilities were good. The carpet needs replacing as there are some stains in the main living area, otherwise very good condition.

Our stay was unfortunately disappointing. When booking, we were not informed that the lift was out of order, which made accessing the apartment via several flights of stairs very inconvenient, especially with luggage and a child. The apartment is on level 6, so be prepared for a lot of stairs to climb once you've hopefully found a park somewhere down the street, as parking in the area is extremely limited.
Although we were told later that a discount was applied due to the lift issue, the price I paid remained the same as when I originally booked, which felt misleading. The listing also mentions parking is provided, but there is a strict height restriction of 1.8m, which was not clearly highlighted during the booking process. This was a problem as we have an SUV, making it unable to park securely.
The apartment and complex are very old and run down, not matching the impression given in the listing photos. The neighbouring apartment's front door had holes in it, as if it had been knocked in with a sledgehammer, which made us feel quite uneasy.
Overall, I feel the communication and transparency about these issues were lacking and I would not recommend this property unless you verify all details and are comfortable with the potential inconveniences.
- Bridget (5/5): Disappointed that our stay wasnt as comfortable as we wanted. Walking up and down six flight of stairs, we had to adjust - The three bedroom appartment, 2 bathrooms did have “waterfront views” from the dining table and the back balcony, which faced the shopping centre. The location was good walking distance to beach, restaurants shops and rail and ferry. After initial booking, stating the appartment was beachfront, I was informed a couple of days later that the lift would not be working during our stay. I wasn’t informed the appartment was on the 6th floor. We found out that a new lift is being installed. (And will be taking a while.)
The main bedroom, with ensuite, had an exhaust vent that was continually running and making a low rumbling noise which made it uncomfortable to sleep in main bedroom. So I slept in spare bedroom. The main bathroom has a step-up in to spa bath to have a shower.
Tea/coffee/sugar provided but no milk.

I requested a 2nd key for our group of 5 adults which was easily accommodated - thankyou. An older apartment, with the 2nd and 3rd bedroom quite small (no room for bags). Its quite noisy area, due to the great location.

- Mary (1/5): Do not stay here! - the location. It was awful. There was no coffee, no milk, no clean sponges in the kitchen. No laundry detergent. There was nothing. The bed sheets were cheap nylon. We called to say that we had an extra guest but there were no sheets for the spare room. It took Camilla two hours to return my call. By the time she returned our call we had decided to buy new sheets for both bedrooms. This was the worst apartment I have ever stayed in. I will never believe reviews again after this stay. This place is shocking.
