• emily (8/5): Very successful stay comfortable and clean in good location - Location .. nice views .. simple furnishings .. clean and modern .. roof terrace and utility room real bonus Bit noisy from road traffic and the shower kept blocking … could do with another more comfy armchair as sofa was just for 2 people
• Travelnut (9/5): Enjoyed it - Its position - near bus and train station. Opposite good coffee shop and excellent proximity to Westfield Centre and other coffee shops if you wished to go elsewhere. Excellent bus service between Bondi Junction and Bondi Beach. Liked the seating area on the roof. The company that run the apartments were also excellent. Would definitely recommend. As the apartments were connected by concrete steps, and the soundproofing is non-existent, which seems to be similar to all apartments in the Sydney area (stayed in a number of different ones and experienced the same in all of them), the noise can be irritating as everything carries.

• Angela (3/5): Apartment was fine. Host/Company is a complete nightmare. - The apartment was mostly clean enough and the beds comfortable. Location is good. There were extra towels in the closet. But there was a dirty used towel left on one of the hooks :( The entire check in process and beyond has been a nightmare I was asked to check in via link that required online ID check + 200$ deposit a few days before my stay. Went through and got a confirmation email. Then not long after I got more emails asking for the same ID to be photographed as a selfie with my face. After calling support I sent this despite the fact I already completed the online check in. Then I received confirmation that it was sorted and I would receive check in instructions soon. Then I got another email AGAIN from the same person who confirmed my check in that I needed to send THE SAME selfie with ID photo to them. I sent the exact same photo and then finally got a final approval. Ridiculous. Additionally despite being a legal requirement and me asking multiple times now I have yet to receive a tax receipt. Absolutely do NOT recommend this place if you are travelling for business because you wont be able to get your tax receipt. This is literally a legal obligation. Booking.com says to contact the host directly for a tax receipt and host was initially unhelpful and is now unresponsive. I have just now sent another 2 follow up emails to seperate emails to try to chase this. Also there was a dirty used towel left on one of the hooks :(

• Aoife (7/5): - Ideal location, lovely cafe across the road and right beside bondi junction bus terminal and Westfield. We had a few issues during our stay. Blocked bathroom sink that took a few days to sort and issue with flashing lights in living/bedroom at night. It's a bit messy when dealing with the management, never the same person responding to messages, they insist on video proof of the issue and then it takes 24 hours or more for someone to inspect. We stayed for 3 weeks in the apartment and when we asked for clean towels we were advised that we'd be charged additional fees. Not very clear that there was a communal washer/dryer plus rooftop to enjoy during our stay.

• Nataliya (9/5): We would definitely stay in this appointment again next time we are in Sydney. - The apartment was spacious and had all the facilities for a self-catering stay. There was another kitchenette on the rooftop which we found very convenient for doing our laundry. The location was perfect for travelling and shopping. A cosy coffee shop was across the road. They served a delicious breakfast and lunch.

• Helen (10/5): Highly recommend - Great location, 3 mins from bondi junction bus and train station. Well equipped, clean and spacious. Just found the noise from the road outside a bit loud, but nothing ear plugs couldn't solve!

Was hard to get 3 Heatpumps to maintain consistent cooling function. Did download the Daikin manual as specified but despite this we were not entirely successful.

• ROSEMAREE (6/5): Disappointing compared to previous visits. - All 3 split cycle air conditioning units were broken - an electrical problem. The maintenance team doesn’t work past 5pm and it took several days for an aircon technician to visit. After the visit, the air conditioning units worked for one 1 and then the problem returned. Not a great situation for elderly or very young guests (babies/ children).

• Ava (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean and in a beautiful location Bedding could have been a little more comfortable as the pillows were quite hard making for some bad sleeps but it was definitely bare able.
• Judith (9/5): Sleepless - The apartment is lovely and the location is lovely too. My only criticism is the lack of pillow choice. A small thing I know, but significant if it prevents a good nights sleep. All 8 pillows are exactly the same and too high and hard for me.
• Sebastian (3/5): Disappointing - NOT RECOMMENDED. The apartment as such was fine and according to the description. However, there was no access to the rooftop terrace. The terrace was presented as one of the highlights of the place and shown in three photos. Access to the terrace was my main reason to book this apartment. I messaged the host and they told me that this apartment doesn't include terrace access. They argued that the fact that the terrace was not mentioned in the detailed description means that it's not included. They also told me that the description says that "some rooms are fitted with a terrace", which, in their mind, means that some apartments don't have access to the rooftop terrace. To me, the description of the apartment is not just misleading, it's wilfully deceiving. Without the terrace access this place was not good value for the money. I'm disappointed and don't recommend it.
• Rosemaree (8/5): Met our expectations and the location is very convenient. - Well maintained. Edgecliff Road can be noisy (bedrooms face the road) so not ideal for those who are light sleepers.
• Julia (7/5): Good - Stylish, modern, good place in the city There were a lot of cockroaches! Two were even in the window blind, there must be a nest inside the flat. Place needs a spray that is simply not ok. Toaster wasn’t working, the drain in the shower is blocked so water goes everywhere, even outside the bathroom if you don’t build a towel barrier. The photos showed a roof top area like it’ comes with that place but it is hidden behind the laundry of another apartment which you cant enter without their key. That is wrong advertisement.

• Mary (8/5): very clean and very good when using public transport - close to the train and bus stations there was no oven dish in the oven so we were unable to use it . otherwise everything else was good live tv very poor signal and kept freezing
• Imogen (4/5): Fine. - The post box and lock are not very solid. Lack of cleaning facilities, no broom, hover or iron. I was told over the phone I would get a halfway clean and I didn't. The oven in the apartment didn't work. It was just not the best for a stay as long as mine, which was a month.

Dirt and dust on all the doors front and back on the ledges, tables, lamps, TV. The oven did not work. Feathers were coming out of the pillows in the living room, every day we were picking up feathers.

• Audrey (8/5): A great place, a little bit more maintenance would be good - Very convenient location, 5 mn away from - a shopping center - the buses and trains' station to the CBD and Bondi. Great vues of the city from the apartment and great roof top. The apartment itself is nicely furbished, full of light, cosy and big enough for the 4 of us including a teen and a child, they shared the bed in the 2nd bedroom (which is a bit small). Initially I was a bit worry of the shared laundry room outside of the appartement but it was very pratical and spotless with a recent washing machine and dryer (a basket to carry the laundry would be a great add to the apartment). We had an issue with the shower drain and after contacted Urban Rest in the morning (a Saturday), the issue was solved same day. Lots of traffic noise but it wasn't that bad after all because we we're not there to sleep in the morning. I was expecting a spotless place after the reviews and I was disappointed. It was ok but nothing to celebrate. I understand that it is quite new but if the level of details in cleanliness isn't improved, the reviews will not stay high. The kitchen's cupboards doors were a bit dirty, the inside of the bathroom's cupboards were not clean, dusting wasn't done properly (dust on the lampes' shade, on the skirtings. The bathroom's floor, after moving the bin and the toilets brush' s holder because of the drain issue, was dirty. The joints start to be pinkish which indicate a lack of maintenance. The sheets have holes, I had to move the microwaves which was awkwardly positionned and there were crumbs under and a plastic lid from a take away box behind, etc ....

• Yj (9/5): Despite some small nitpicks I can still recommend this apartment for stay in Sydney. - Great location close to Bondi junction bus stop (easy access to Circular Quay or Bondi Beach, they are the both ends of the bus route 333) and a huge shopping mall (Westfield), nicely furnished clean apartment. Key reception and return over lockbox, easy communication. Washing machine and tumble dryer are available, just the location was unclear (it was in the basement with no direct access from the main entrance area, you need to go outside once) especially when it’s already dark and no lamp or label for the door. The windows of the apartment 1 (where we stayed) shift vertically and are VERY tight, as a small woman I had to use my whole body weight trying to close them every time…

• Zhuoyue (10/5): One of my best apartment experiences ever - Absolutely perfect stay at this property. I would rate it 10/10 all day, everything was good, location, facilities, service. My entire family all enjoyed the stay so much and would definitely consider staying with Urban Rest again in the future. Thank you for this home-like accommodation. Nothing really. Everything was exceptional. If anything, maybe could provide a kitchen knife for cooking would be good, but of course that is not essential.
• Judith (10/5): Best short stay I’ve used in the Bondi Junction area. - A newly completely refurbished apartment is always a treat to stay in. Everything works, everything is clean and new and well chosen. This property also happens to be in a great location close to public transport a huge shopping centre and The Vernon coffee shop a short walk away. My only complaint was I found the bed pillows too large and high to my liking.

The rooftop patio was well loved by our whole family. Great sunset views. Location was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again. Nothing at all.

Near to Westfield shopping centre with walking-distance. Near to beach and CBD as well. Great location! The host is very responsive with our request. Everything is perfect except this premise does not provide the car park. However, there is a street parking with 1P during day time and we can park for whole night after office hours. As the tourist, we will travel around during the day time. So parking issue is not a big problem for us.
