Schöner, sauberer Pool mit viel Schatten am Nachmittag, ab und zu fliegt ein Kolibri vorbei. Sehr nette Gastgeber:innen und freundliche Mitarbeitende. Unkompliziertes Check-in, bei uns spontan früher als von uns angekündigt möglich. Ruhig in der Nacht. Ausserdem ist das Zimmer mit Moskitonetzen an Fenster und Türen ausgestattet- sehr angenehm. Ins Zentrum zu Fuss möglich, wir haben wegen der Hitze das Auto genommen (2-3‘). Wir können die Unterkunft von ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen. Für uns ging es ohne Problem, aber evtl. für einige Leute kompliziert: aktuell nur Barzahlung möglich.

• Tarane (1/5): Bad - TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE – DO NOT BOOK I never write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about this nightmare of a hotel. This was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had. Four days into my stay, I was suddenly told by the hotel that Booking.com cannot charge my card and that the hotel didn’t have a card reader. Instead, they insisted I withdraw cash from my bank—something I was never informed of before arrival. I was in Costa Rica for work, attending a 9–5 training, and I let them know I could go to the bank on Friday (two days later). The next day, I received an email from Booking.com stating that the hotel claimed I had left without paying—which was completely false. When I confronted the owner, she accused me of delaying payment and threatened to cancel my reservation. They treated me like a criminal, even though Booking.com had my credit card on file. After rushing to the bank to settle the payment that same day, I was charged a 5% fee. I asked the hotel owner to cover it, as it wasn’t my fault, she agreed. However, I was charged the fee and she didn’t pay it back to me that day. When I brought it up to her.. she even tried gaslighting me, claiming she had paid it after I had sent her visible proof that I in fact paid it. With some more arguing on her end, we went to the bank again, and bank teller confirmed I had paid it. Instead of apologizing, she calculated her “losses” due to currency conversion, as if that was my problem. To top it off, when I was leaving and asked her husband if I could wait inside for my driver, he pulled my bag outside and told me they had to close the door. In other words, no you cannot wait here, get out. These hotel owners lack professionalism, integrity, and basic hospitality. Avoid it at all costs. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I highly recommend staying there for anyone who wants to be in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. The property was clean new and extremely comfortable. We would stay there again on our next trip to Costa Rica. This is a new property and they did not have a sign out in front . I m sure they will have one soon though.

It’s super comfortable, and well equipped. We spent a month, and loved our stay. To walk back & forth to shops & restaurants, there are lots of parts without sidewalks. It felt a little dicey at night.

Walking distance to town and beach, but far enough away from all the noise to enjoy a peaceful stay. The room was spotlessly clean and bed was very comfortable! Equipped with a good-sized fridge, kettle with great coffee, and hair dryer. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again if we ever find ourselves in the area.

Marrie and Philippe are very welcoming and caring owners.. free protected parking.. very recommended for enjoyable Tamarindo vacation.

We had a last-minute change to our previous accommodations and were fortunate to book Pierre and Colors. This new Boutique Hotel rivals any 5-star hotel in North America. The facilities inside and outside were immaculate. The room had a kitchenette to let us enjoy meals outside on our patio. The decor is beautiful and boasts a Pura Vida flavour of peace, simplicity, and grounding within nature. Pierre and Colors live up to its name with beautiful colors inside and outside their rooms. We enjoyed the pool and seating area to relax and read. I also began my Yoga practice outside my room, kicking off 2025 with light and love. Marie and Phillip were most accommodating and supported our transfer from their hotel to our long-term condo. I will tell friends and family visiting Costa Rica about this fabulous Boutique Hotel. You will not be disappointed in booking here for your vacation away from home. Nothing. It was a short walk into Town, but we liked it as it was quiet and peaceful. Tamarindo can get very noisy downtown.

• Elena (10/5): Cozy, gorgeous design made with love - This is a truly unique place with every single detail made with love, attention, and taste. A huge comfy bed, a shower you don’t want to leave, friendly hosts, a cozy little yard with plants and a swimming pool. Everything looks exactly as nice as in the pics or even better. Nothing really to dislike. We wanted a place a bit further from the noisy streets, so it worked perfectly for us. You will have to drive or walk to the town. It’s a short walk, but there are no pedestrian lanes.

We stayed in the apartment which was really welll equiped. There are plenty of birds to see from the balcony and a lovely pool for a dip. It's on the edge of town, about a 15 minute walk to the beach but very peaceful. We stayed an extra nigjt and wish we could have stayed longer
