Hot tub was a bonus once we figured out how to re-set it. By the second day hot tub was working fine as long as you follow instructions! Great location for exploring for a few days, and private enough that you could disconnect. We booked this last minute and paid a lot more than some other places but I felt you save if you cook 2 meals or so a day so it’s worth it and evens out. We will definitely be back!

- Sarah (10/5): High Tide Hideaway, a forest oasis! - Everything! So cozy! Gorgeous windows that make you feel like you are in the trees. Well stocked kitchen, West Coast decor, fantastic fire pit, super comfy bed! We didn’t stay long enough! We had a terrible time getting the tv going on the wifi - it was connected and it showed it had full bars but wouldn’t load. The door is a bit tricky. Could you share a video on how to do it via email ahead of time?
- Terry (8/5): Ok, but comfortable sleeping accommodation for one couple only. - The cottage was well equipped and very clean. Our main complaint was the TERRIBLE fold out couch bed. It was nothing but hard, poking metal springs and bowed in the middle. And in a room that was entirely glass with no blinds. The owners need to sleep a night in that situation to understand and appreciate how very uncomfortable it is. We felt the price was too much for one couple to be so inconvenienced. We would definitely not stay there again, and if recommending the area would warn about that particular cabin.

Property had several quirks that weren’t disclosed until the window to cancel had closed. Would appreciate a more accountable response and more transparency.

- Artem (10/5): Our stay was peaceful, cozy, and exceeded our expectations in every way! - - The location: The stunning panoramic view through the large windows was incredible, and the surroundings were exceptionally quiet and peaceful, with no disturbance from neighbors. - The staff’s attitude: They were always available and responded very quickly to any inquiries. Before our arrival, they sent detailed instructions about what the house provides and what we should bring with us, which was very helpful. - Cleanliness and coziness: The place was spotless and felt very welcoming. - Decor and ambiance: I loved the thoughtful decorations and the abundance of candles, which created a wonderful atmosphere. - The grill: It was clean and ready to use, which we greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place! As for the downsides, I would note the following: - The third bedroom: It felt less cozy as it only had a small window facing some bushes. This room is more suited for just spending the night rather than spending extended time there. Some of our guests found this disappointing. - The mattresses: While we didn’t experience any back pain, the king bed had two smaller mattresses placed together, which gave us the feeling of sliding into the middle toward each other. - Waste management: The house is designed for up to 12 people, but the trash space provided was very limited. We had to pack and sort the garbage ourselves into our own bags. I think adding extra bins, either outside or inside, would be very helpful. That said, none of these points were deal-breakers for us, and the house still exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend it!

- Dominik (8/5): Remarkable accommodation in the cottage area - Interesting accommodation in the middle of a cottage area. You will feel like in a secluded place in the forest. The room was pleasant, the kitchen well equipped. The sofa bed was not the most comfortable, but sufficient for one night. There is a fire pit next to the accommodation, there is wood but it can be wet, I would recommend bringing your own. The host could better convey information on how to find accommodation. If they have multiple cabins, they could provide a map with better descriptions of how to find the accommodation. If you arrive late in the evening you may find yourself wandering between the cabins

Very dusty - layer of dust on lamps, blinds, etc. couch pillows - although washable - felt dirty and unwashed. Duvet cover for the pullout couch definitely unwashed between guests. It did not smell fresh at all. Pull out couch was also gross - the cushions were worn and also clearly unwashed despite the coverings being removable. There was also a strong, gross scent behind the king bed in the main bedroom. It smelt like dirty, wet socks and was incredibly unpleasant to experience frequent wafts of it.

- Maciej (9/5): Virgin River charm - The cottage was very charming,had the Virgin River kind of vibe inside and out. There was enough room to park a big car off the road and loads of space on the porch. The location was good,peaceful and quiet. Easy to find. The host was very responsive to our messages. Very large and comfy bed. However,it was very small inside.Once we got the suitcases in,there was little room to move around. The biggest hurdle was the instruction book which was very out of date and we had to guess what was what most of the time. The indoor gas fireplace didn't work,the bedroom TV didn't work (cable had been removed),there was no cable TV (host got rid,but no mention of it in the description), outdoor heater and lights took ages to work out (incorrect instructions in the book). There is little around in terms of shops or places to eat so come prepared and bring provisions. Other than that,we had a great stay and would stay again providing all this got fixed or updated so there is no disappointment. -instructions inaccurate or incorrect - very small inside -no cable TV - indoor gas fireplace didn't work

Amenities were solid and we would recommend this cabin to anyone in the area. Nothing to really complain about. Fireban was unfortunate but that was due to all of the wildfires. Beyond that nothing to complain about.

We would not go back to this cabin again... - Location, bbq was amazing Couldn't use the picnic table outside as it was rotten and couldn't support anything, same with fence(half falling down) There was an abundance of cob webs and most f the cookware needed to be clean again before used... perhaps a deep spring cleaning would help. Also the oven was sprayed to clean but left with the the oven cleaner chemical still there. We weren't there to clean but relax 🙁we have photos of the uncleanliness but won't post.
