- Louise (8/5): Overall, it was very clean and safe. I would recommend again but only to stay in the summertime. - Extremely clean facility. Well maintained. Location was excellent to get around the city. Bedrooms nice and cool with the air conditioning. Park was right in front. Most electrical outlets did not work, and the kitchen light was worthless. The kitchen ceiling is...sketchy.
- Meriem (1/5): Very bad stay, I don’t recommend this place, it doesn’t worth any cent I spent . - Nothing Very hot unit, THE AC did not improve the temperature, very old furniture, uncomfortable beds , complicated unit access, unclear parking instructions, the host was always very late to reply and doesn’t resolve our issues
- Stone (9/5): -
- Saenz (8/5): - It is pretty nice.
- Saenz (10/5): -
- Melanie (8/5): - Good location, quiet, easy to access., spacious. I did not have a car. The apt. was generally very clean except that there was a large collapsed section of the ceiling in the kitchen that had lots of insulation, dust falling etc. I would stay again. Thank you!

- Carmelita (5/5): - Location was good! Parking is free. There's wifi. As soon as we opened the gate to get to the door, I smelled pot, yikes!! Although we had no plans of using the yard, it would have been nice if it was tidied up since it gives the first impression to the place. The place should be cleaned! The floor should be cleaned, the place should be dusted. There's a big stain on the carpet in the bedroom. There are stains on the pillowcases and sheets, and the bedding is not white and could still see the stains. We didn't use the blankets since we felt like they were not clean. The bedroom door doesn't close, it hits the light switch! My husband and I didn't sleep well. We didn't use the shower as we didn't trust using the toiletries. The ceiling around the ceiling fan has a hole. It was covered up with black plastic taped to the ceiling, but the tape has come off on one side, so the plastic is hanging down. We left the place as soon as we could in the morning.

- Sarah (1/5): We did not stay and fleed to a nearby hôtel! - The property was so discusting, that we could not stay. There is nothing nice to say. There was a big water damage in the ceiling, fixed with a garbage bag. The place was at 8pm Not cleaned, Dirty laundry by the previous guests, old bedding, stinky, waterstains from leakage on the floor, garbage inside…..
- ALAIN (5/5): - Très bien positionné dans un quartier calme. Le côté jardin très agréable. Pour 4 ok mais si besoin du clic clac le matelas pas top. Manque d accessoires cuisines.
- Gao (1/5): Awful awful awful - I asked for a refund one month before the date just about one week after the booking I think I’m not causing any trouble to the booking, the customer service keep on not replying to my request, and I have offered change of date as well, but they didn’t reply to it either. - Mackenzie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joëlle (10/5): Exceptional - I had a great stay in this apartment. The place is exactly as in the pictures: clean, and very comfortable. The location is ideal, close to shops, restaurants and public transport.
- Cissy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mane (1/5): Bad - they somehow forgot to stock toilet paper, and then gave us a big issue about it when I called to get some. The owner said "what do you want me to do about it now?" I wanted you to stock the basic supplies I PAID for before I arrived. When the maids finally came about an hour later to drop off toilet paper, they insisted on coming inside for some reason and hanging out. and then for some reason she left, came back through the back door WITHOUT knocking to drop off 3 individual water bottles we never asked for.
- Eloise (5/5): Passable -
- Cheryl (6/5): Pleasant -
- Catherine (1/5): Runied my birthday. Will never go back. - The property is old and terrible. The beds are ridiculously uncomfortable. One doesn’t even have a whole leg so the bed is tilted and we didn’t sleep a wink the first night. The next day was my birthday and it completely ruined the day. I message early when we were there that the tv did not work and it was freezing cold and we could not turn up the heat. The people in the unit above us were arguing and stomping around the whole night. Left garbage outside our front door and animals got into over night and there was garbage and medications everywhere. I had a service dog with me.
The place was a complete dump and I would give it negative stars if I could. Very disappointing. Hated everything
- Venessa-rose (10/5): Exceptional - That it was as if we were at home Couldn't find cleaning supplies when my child made messes haha
- Messiaen (3/5): Poor - the wifi does not work because the subscription to the provider is not paid. we get the message when we connect. it’s great.... I’m sarcastic on this one, but frankly run..
Look at the four pictures poor, the wifi does not work because the subscription to the supplier is not paid. cardboard for a window. the garbage not out for 3 months are behind the entrance door, when it all fidgeting and difficult to open. . there are many things to redo in this dilapidated housing. the tenants of the top make noise. All the bedding is to be reviewed. This is clearly the worst rental I have made by booking.
- Alison (1/5): Bad - So dirty we couldn’t stay. We had to find alternative accommodation
- Khaju (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (1/5): Booking.com refused to address the above issues or refund all my money - I was sent 25 Euro back! - This was suppose to be a holiday of a life time, traveling from Northern Ireland to Canada with my daughter, as seeing Canada was her life long dream from when she was very small. The only thing I liked about a week in this disgusting dirty hole was getting out of it and going home! This property is an illegal let as local authorities turned it down as it is none compliant with letting regulations by law. The property is a fire hazard with no fire alarms and the living room door sealed closed leaving no means of escape should a fire start in the kitchen. It does not even reach basic hygiene standards and was appallingly dirty. The Kitchen was disgusting and unusable due to years of dirt, grime and grease buildup. All furniture was old and dirty, the oven has never been cleaned in years if at all. Electrical appliances did not work and pots where full of rust and dishes had built up grime. We spent a small fortune eating out as nothing was clean or usable. Beds had no quilt cover and mattresses badly soiled with bugs in beds as my daughter was repeatedly bitten during the nights. A light above the sink had an electric cable hanging down into the sink and none of the sinks or bath had any plugs. At the entrance door was a Bio-hazard with building materials covered in black mold that had been removed from the basement after a flood and left there. My daughter had to cut a square of grass in the garden so we could sit outside during the day to get out of the filth. The Landlord came after a number of days with another man and a woman, I showed him around with all my complaints and asked for my money back and he refused. They then proceeded to try to force entry to his tenants property above us next door and we witnessed the three of them intimidate his tenant, trying to forcibly evict her with one hours notice. Due to the level of threats being made and having the three people turn on me and my family, I felt very threatened and certainly did not expect to being intimidated especially as all three of us suffer from anxiety. This was very far from what we expected and I still have not settled down. Due to this intimidating behavior of the three people (which included the landlord) we had to ring for the police.
- Jan (5/5): The apartment kept us warm and dry. - The location was great! Walkable to the lake, close to a playground Kitchen lacked many basic items such as a cutting board, frying pan, working outlet near the microwave.
The mattresses were old, especially the roll out sofa bed.
- Han (6/5): An old house full of memories. - Convenient transportation, free parking, private courtyard. Provide cooking utensils that can be used normally.
- Tracey (6/5): Pleasant - Great location close to all amenities.
Clean, big backyard 👌. Lack of utensils. No spatulas, No steak knives. I would advise to bring utensils. Cookware was unusable due to rust. A/C didn't work in bedroom 2. No bedding for pullout couch.
- Nancy (1/5): This is the worst rental I have ever stayed in. - The location was ideal for attending an event at Queen's University. Overall, this place is not suitable for guests in its current state. The apartment has holes in the wall, sagging ceiling tiles in the bedroom, random stains, and spider webs in corners. The AC unit was leaking in the bedroom. It was so hot in the apt. There were no instructions on where to park, Wifi codes (found it stuck on the door frame), or how to use the AC units. I question whether the unit was cleaned before we arrived. The 'guest towels' were small, very worn, and damp—two per room (4 total) even though we were scheduled for 5 guests. No extra towels. Had to use the dish towel as a hand towel in the bathroom. We were very happy to get out of there. It would have been worth paying the extra money to stay at a hotel.
- García (1/5): Horror house - It was like a house of horrors. Everything was dirty. The kitchen was sticky, the oven... too dirty.
The beds were super hard and one of them had no sheets.
The house was really old (which would not be a problem at first) but the ceiling was almost falling down. There were even halls in the walls. I can't believe they charged so much. I'm seriously considering not booking through Booking any more because of the terrible experience. I booked because its always a safe choice but this time it was terrible.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Xing (5/5): It was ok. - Location was good, apartment was spacious. Bath was stuck with hairs and plastic, facilities were old.
- Miranda (7/5): Comfy, spacious & budget stay near city centre - Central location, large space for family, nice staff, it is not the Ritz - a bit like clean and comfy student digs, with lots of space. Perfect for my family. Space has character and staff were friendly. Overall, some small things could be done to improve the stay. For example, more utensils in the kitchen; there needs to be a formal lock between the flat and the adjoining one. The many objects - including a toilet bowl - could be cleared from the back patio. This was like staying in very comfy student digs - perfect for my family and reflected in the budget price.
- Lyn (7/5): Perfect location. - Perfect location for us, liked the fenced in backyard, easy check in. Nice it was dog friendly. No shampoo, towels thin, very little kitchen dishes.. The people upstairs are very noisy all night, on you reservation you should let renters know. Place was a bit dirty. No where on the booking does it let renters know what is included or not included like a hair dryer, dishes.
- Anonymous (8/5): Cheap comfy place with every basic things - Everything was good beds, kitchen All was good. there was nothing to put a negative review
- Elliot (8/5): Great place to stay in Kingston for location, space and parking. - Outstanding location, parking was great as the spot is 8 feet from the door. The apartment was clean, dry, warm and not musty which really made a difference!! Would absolutely stay here again. The pillows and mattress could have been better and there was no toilet paper (small oversight).
- Sui (7/5): Good - the price is good, only stay one night, location is good. the building is old
- Sylvie (9/5): Nice little place could use a white paint job to brighten things up, but very comfortable. The caretaker was outstanding - Cosy little place, a little outdated, but very comfortable and quiet. A little outdated a few things missing, but was immediately replace
- Ben (8/5): Feels like being back in college but great if you just need a place to crash. - Good value at the price we got it. Easy check in/out. If you are over 6' you will hit your head on things.
- Joëlle (10/5): My stay was perfect. I really liked the house. I will come back for sure.. - The house is very well located close to all ameneties. All the units (bedroms, living room ans bathroom) were very clean and I had all I needed un the kitchen. The comfort of the house worth the money. I stronghly recommand this accommodation
- Dijimmy (10/5): Exceptional - Nice spacious 2 bedroom unit close to the City Center
- Beynon (1/5): Terrible stay! - Location was good This was the worst place I have ever stayed in my whole life! The owner left us for 3 days without a toilet! He has the poorest communication I have ever dealt with by a host- the toilet broke one day into our stay and he did not fix it until 3 days later. He claimed that it was because it is hard to find a plumber- I called a plumber myself and found out he would have been able to get one in a day and rather he was trying to hold off and sent the tenants upstairs to look at it and did nothing else. He also never responded to us or our calls and rather left us in the dark. He told me when I called him to alert him our toilet had flooded that it was very short notice. If you enjoy not having to walk to the shops to go to the toilet than NEVER stay here.
- Chin (8/5): Very good -
- Adam (1/5): we planned a stay, but unfortunately we were forced to abort it - We arrived at the property at about 7.10pm. we tried calling the owner to obtain the keys 7 times from about 7.20pm to about 7.50pm, using the number provided by booking dot-com. Every time it went to an answering machine, even we tried using a different number, given by a tenant, who rents another apartment in the same house from him, also to no avail. So we reluctantly decided to return home to Ottawa. The owner called us back only at 9.07 pm, when we were driving through Smiths Falls, halfway between Kingston and Ottawa.
