• Noora (9/5): Very nice and cozy stay! - Very cozy apartment, compact but yet feeling spacy for two travelers. Well equipped and quiet, groceries nearby. Great location with public transport at hand plus at walking distance from parks and seaside/beach. We had a great short stay.

• Vytis (9/5): Quiet and cosy stay (when some nuances DYI solved), feels living as local🤩 - Quiet location as at that part of city with all things needed for stay (too many actually -- sorry, dear host we hidden some interior details from the view to have more restful environment inside) It is darkish, unless blinds are opened (needed special clue to keep them open🤗). The fridge roars his own voices (i was turning it of at night). Solving that turned to be a cosy calm apartment, truly a 'nest' as it is advertised.
• Sofia_ (10/5): Lovely stay in a lovely place in the nicest area in Helsinki :) - The studio flat is in one of the best locations in Helsinki and definitively one of my favourite ones. Very central and yet quiet and with a very local 'feel'. All main tourist attractions and city centre can be reached by walking (between 5 and 15 min walk), or alternatively at 1 to 2 minutes walk from the flat there is the tram stop for 3 of the main lines, and bus stops for many buses. Many restaurants and cafes of all sorts and good quality are nearby if you don't feel like cooking. There are 2 well stocked supermarkets pretty much outside the building, and a bigger major one about 5 minutes away. Ideal for nature walks as well: right in the middle of Tooloo Bay to the right (about 8 min walk), and Helsinki main beach Hietaranta, to the left (about 8 min walk) - from this side of the bay there is a long lovely walk to the island of Seurasaari (Finland open air museum), with lovely beaches and bays, as well as some delightful cafes and restaurants along the way. I have done this route both in spring with still (melting) ice all around and summer, both really beautiful. If you don't feel like walking there is a bus that takes you all the way to Seurasaari - bus stop about 3 minutes walk. The studio flat has a quirky vintage feel, in tune with the building it is in (ie not modern), but it is comfortable and everything in good working order: cooker, oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine; the bathroom with shower was modern and the shower worked really well. Moreover the landlady kept it stuffed with all sorts of household products so that I did not have to purchase them. I warmheartedly recommend it. I know the area very well, so if you need any tips or advice do not hesitate to ask :) this is not a negative comment but something that booking.com needs to update: when I booked the studio flat, it said that there was a 24hrs concierge service - that is not the case! However, the landlady Susanna was always very responsive and helpful to my messages. It is in fact in one of the typical buildings in that area and of that period, with at least 3 main doorways to go through, steps here and there, and 1930s small lift (but worked all the way) personally I did not find it difficult to work it out as I am familiar with the local system, but for someone who is a first timer it can be challenging to start with. Also, if you arrive by plane, I strongly suggest that you ask to have your keys delivered for pick up at the designated shop (r-Kioski) at Vantaa Helsinki airport for the additional fee. The free fee initial option is not practical especially for someone arriving late and/or not being familiar with the area.
