- Tiziano (10/5): - Hotel nuovo, letti molto comodi e camere spaziose, la recezionista molto disponibile e di aiuto per l'organizzazione di escursioni. Il bus per Belize city ci ha lasciato direttamente davanti all'hotel e cj ha poi raccolto quando siamo ripartiti. Piscina grande e ben tenuta, punto d'arrivo anche di molti uccelli che vengono a rinfrescarsi. un po fuori dal centro di San Ignacio, ci si deve spostare in taxi (10 minuti dal centro).
- Jason (9/5): Wonderful staff made it feel like staying with family (that you like). - The staff were amazing, all of them including the owner (who personally drove us into town and back one evening for dinner), the amazing women at the front desk, and the dining room staff and cleaning crew. Extraordinarily kind, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to help. We had some food allergies and they made several trips to the store to look for things they could prepare for us and the chef made delicious papusas for us even though they were not on the menu. The rooms were lovely and spacious and clean. The hotel is not in town and there's not anything you can easily walk to - not a big problem but best to plan on getting rides into town, picked up for excursions, or just rent a car. We were picked up for excursions and got a couple of rides into town for dinner, easy to arrange with the hotel. There is no elevator, so if stairs are an issue ask about a lower floor.

I had some tours cancel and they helped arrange last minute adventure tours. It was little further (not walking distance about 10 minute drive) from San Ignacio than I originally thought.

- Keith (10/5): Exceptional - The pillows, the towels, and the beds are exceptionally clean and very comfortable. They used the best quality microfiber towels. Love them. My kids love the 3 balconies. They said it was the best hotel ever. But even better was the staff. Because of our schedule, we could not do horse bavk riding. on our last day, the owner was supposed to take us to the water taxi terminal, he went above and beyond and took us to do horse back ridding whule he waited over an hour before taking us to the water taxi. The kids love the activity. This is very kind and very much appreciated. I wish Allen the owner well. Because of his kindness, if I have a chance to come back to Belize, I know I will not have to spend time looking for a hotel. I know where I will stay and that is a sure thing. Thank you very much, Allen. The manager, the chef, and the waitress there were all super friendly, too. They gave us a very positive experience on our trip. Oh, I almost forgot, on a Sunday, I could not call taxi to town. Allen drove us there and didn't take our money either. You don't fi d that kind of service anywhere on earth, I can confide try say that. Nothing negative about our stay there. We love the staff, the owner, and the very roomy hotel. Guess what? Even though we have not met the ladaly who fixes our room daily, she left us with a very positive impression, too. Every day, the room is very neat, clean, and well organized. We left her tips on night stand, she didt take it. Day 2, we put double tips on the pillow, she moved to the nightstand, she still didn't take it. On our checkout day, we quadrupple it, and this time, she cant give it back to us anymore. Very honest.
- Robert (10/5): Mr. Allen Andrews, the owner, as well as his crew are first class!!! - The Belizean breakfasts were exceptional and Mr. Allen went above and beyond to make sure we had anything we asked for! We had dinner on the property our second night there and it was absolutely delicious! The chef on site is a master at his craft. Diana, the do-it-all front desk extraordinaire is a wonder! She made sure we had everything we needed and everything was taken care of. She booked us massages done in the comfort of our own rooms! Mr. Allen can whip up some pretty amazing cocktails that were enjoyed by the pool and he did everything in his power that we were safe and taken care of. My daughters and I wholeheartedly enjoyed this stay and albeit being a short one...we will definitely be back to stay at the Alexandria Marquis!!! I don't have not one negative thing to share about the experience or the stay here. Everything was hands down amazing!

Allan is from the area and is very knowledgeable in the many things to do in the area, we went on an excursion he recommended to a waterfall and that was one of the best over excursions we have ever been on. A definite must do on anyone’s list.

- Rachelle (10/5): Personalized and comfortable visit to San Ignacio - The hotel recently opened and the rooms are spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable. My family also enjoyed the great food that was served at breakfast and we had dinner there one night, which was exceptional. The owner of the hotel, was very personable and took very good care of us by driving and setting up excursions. Overall, it was a wonderful and enjoyable stay and I would not hesitate to return.
- Dana (9/5): Great home base with the most wonderful staff!!! - The most amazing thing about this hotel is the staff and owner. They put their heart and soul into making it a wonderful experience for their guests. They cannot do enough to help you with anything you need. The rooms are large and while there are still things that are “work in progress” it was a great homebase for our three days in San Ignacio. Also, the chef is wonderful and we had one of our best meals at the hotel. N/A
- Ishaaq (10/5): Great stay and amazing staff - The hotel was great, and the staff was amazing. The rooms were clean and the pool was a plus too. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were very good. Everyone worked to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and they were able to provide answers to all our questions about everything we wanted to do around San Ignacio. The only thing to note is that the hotel is a little outside of the town so you might need a car to get into the town, it’s about a 5-10 minute drive so not bad at all. Most tours will also pick you up from the hotel if needed.
