Guest Reviews
- Rory (8/5): Great location. A tiny compact place that was well presented and had every thing you need . Note no TVbut the view is gr - Setting and compactness The toilet
- Josh (10/5): Really Enjoyed It, definitely recommend - Was small & cosy, everything was clean. Was an enjoyable well earned rest
- Kerry (6/5): Enjoyed our stay but a little more thought into the practicalities is required. It has great potential. - Location. Comfortable bed. Fire. Bread fridge up the road. Paintings in the tiny house. Being able to cook was limited due to lack of saucepans, pans and utensils. Piezo took about 15 minutes to light the cook top. Frustrating when all you want is a cup of tea. If wanted to chop larger pieces of wood into smaller pieces for the combustion stove there was no hatchet available.
- Gabriel (8/5): Great accommodation. Would be even better if it was a little more secluded. - The property was close to the road and there was no screening from the cars travelling along the road.
- Rachel (8/5): Very good -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Ann (9/5): Convenient location, Enjoyed the hot tub -
- Kahn (10/5): Fantastic experience and a great host! -
- Emily (9/5): Nice little getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Will hopefully we back in the summer time. - It was cosy, and we loved the star gazing hole above the bed! I didn’t want to go to sleep! The smell of the toilet wasn’t great. We thought it might have been cleaned out before guests stayed. Unfortunately we came on a weekend when it was very windy so we felt like we were being shaken around upstairs of a night time.
- Brent (8/5): A good tiny home experience - Excellent location on the island. It was clean, contemporary and cosy. Particularly enjoyed the wood heater, the wildlife that would visit the block and the famous Bruny Island bread fridge that was only a hundred metres up the road. Not a huge fan of the composting toilet..
- Myrza (8/5): Great for anyone who wants to give a tiny home a try! - Small and cozy, close to ‘town’ Fireplace needed clean, toilet seat was freezing
- Oakley (8/5): Wedding on the island - Love the location.
The wood fire added a great touch.
The bench under the huge window added a new dimension, so good to sit and read with the sun shining through and a great glass of red wine in hand. The toilet smell was a bit overwhelming
- Amanda (10/5): A perfect place to stay, I will come back! Everything was lush and high quality. - EVERYTHING! I had the most amazing time in the Little Pardalote Tiny House. It exceeded my expectations and it was a joy to come back to it between activities and at the end of each long day. I visited Bruny Island for the bird festival and it was a very packed weekend, I hardly had time to relax in the tiny house or bath tub. I did manage to light the inside fire on my first night and really enjoyed that. I loved the set up and all the kitchen items. The only thing missing was oil, so I bought some olive oil and left it there. It was a must-have with the fresh bread each day (the bread fridge is located next door!). I adored the quality of the sheets, towels and body wash, hair wash. Everything was luxurious and divine! Thank you for creating such a beautiful place for visitors. Loved the whole experience and would stay there again.
- Graeme (8/5): Very nice. Good place to experience nature - Clean beautiful presentation Compost toilet. Although not bad smell had a smell maybe because hot weather and house locked up
- Michell (10/5): Excellent place to stay. I strongly recommend it for people who are looking for a quiet stay. I personally like it as I - It is a brand new Tiny house, very clean and organised Green toilet
- Anastasia (10/5): Exceptional - cosy, comfy, clean and host had provided a welcome beer! the compost toilet
- Pamela (10/5): Great place to experience tiny sustainable house living. - Great in all weather, sustainability and amongst nature. The compostable toilet was a pong but expected due to the sustainability aspect.
- Clare (10/5): Perfect little retreat for a couple very romantic - The property was perfect situated on Bruny Island on a nice piece of land. We really enjoyed our time here. The property was extremely clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We liked everything about the property.
- Jorge (9/5): Wonderful accommodation! - My experience staying at Little Pardalote Tiny Home Bruny Island was amazing. It seems a brand-new container on wheels with everything you need. Internet was pretty good too, and we really needed a good one for that specific weekend which we watched my soccer team Fluminense (from Brazil) be champion of Libertadores. The place is well located at Alonnah, 10 minutes driving to The Neck and Adventure Bay, and also near restaurants. It has a nice parking place as well, and it is not too far from the Lighthouse and other touristic places in Bruny Island. There is everything you need inside the accommodation, and all worked well during my three night-stay. The fireplace is a charming. Keep an eye out for wallabies around the accommodation in the night, it is lovely. Karen was a nice host and was very kind to allow us to do an early check-in in that opportunity. I enjoyed my stay in this wonderful place! It is not that I didn't like about it as I was already aware of it from the accommodation's description, but keep in mind that it has a "green toilet". Also, I just found out the last day that there is a plug for draining the water from the hot tub, so don't make the same mistake I did not to use the hot tub for a relaxing time.
- Mario (10/5): Beautiful tiny home. - Absolutely beautiful and cosy little house conveniently situated near the village of Alonnah. Well equipped with all that you need . Fireplace was a highlight. Couldn't have asked for anything more.
Would stay again. Couldn't stay longer.
