They welcomed us with homemade delicacies and were very helpful, taking time to explain to everything to us. The boat was cleverly organised and lots of options for sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was fully equipped and the place surprisingly spacious. The whole place was cosy, clean and warm. The location of the boat was great, although low water levels initially made a little challenging to access. If you are a little adventurous and only planning a short stay most of the short comings are overcome by the quirkiness of the place. However, we found the bathroom arrangements a little difficult - it took a while to get accustomed to the special boat toilet flush system and the water from the shower is heavily chlorinated, leaving us feeling like we needed another shower to rinse off in. The water also runs brown so bottled water is essential, but the hosts ensured this was plentiful. It was just a bit counterintuitive to wash in :)
