Kelly (10/5): Loved this charming, roomy, and quiet country retreat - Loved this place! About 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Rothenburg in the fresh, clean country. Very quiet and a playground on site for the kids. We had an apartment and it had 2 sofa beds, a bedroom, and a well equipped kitchen. The restaurant food was FANTASTIC for both dinner and breakfast and most charmingly, the owner’s 6-year old grandson helps out as waiter (and does a fine job! Like seriously, wow!) The owner’s daughter speaks excellent English. Highly recommend!! This is not a complaint, but be advised that this property is very rural and you’ll need a car to get around. Very little in the way of grocery stores or services nearby. But the food onsite is so good that’s not an issue.
