Guest Reviews
- Khan (10/5): -
- Caroline (6/5): - Proximité de la plage, de tous les commerces et des attractions Odeur d’humidité, manque d’équipement et lingerie humide.
- Madeleine (8/5): - The location is amazing with a short walk to the beach and a 30 minute walk/10 minute bus ride to vancouver city centre. Bed very comfortable and we enjoyed being able to plug our phone/ipad into the TV so we could watch our TV programmes. We felt that the apartment could have done with a fan as it got very hot.
- Tarale (9/5): Excellent location - Really terrific little place near the beach.
The neighborhood is fantastic. Convenient to downtown, convenient to transit. I don't know how to use an air fryer, so I could only prepare food in the microwave
- Robyn (7/5): Small, cozy, well-appointed and affordable-- would definitely stay here again. - The location was great and the price was right. The beds worked great for us, and we were warm enough not to use the heat. The dehumidifier was loud so we turned it off, and I apologize for forgetting to turn it back on when we left. We loved it that you had lots of hangers in the closet space to hang our clothes, and all the coat hooks. There were a few parts that would have been nice to change but overall the place was totally satisfactory for us. We really didn't like the little plastic teakettle. A larger metal or ceramic one would have been great. There is very little "kitchen" space there so having the air fryer out on the counter seemed unnecessary and bulky. There were only 2 spoons (only silverware we used)-- one tiny and one large. That was awkward. And the drawer space was all taken up by bedding so there was no place to keep our things except in our luggage which we were constantly tripping over. The directions about parking were really confusing, especially since you can't turn on York St from the corner where the apartment was located, the neighborhood is full of do not enter and one-way streets, and York is a street, not an alley, so it took us quite a while to figure that out. It would be nice to let guests know that the 2 hour parking is just across the street so they don't have to go hunting for it.
- john (8/5): - Wasn't given an entry code. Owner wasn't available and alternative number mailbox was full. Only reason we got in was cleaner was still there

- Warren (10/5): Excellent Kitsilano location. - The apartment is located in a lovely, quiet residential street, but only a short walking distance from main shopping/dining streets and the beach. Also, only a short drive or bus ride from downtown. The False Creek Ferry, from Kitsilano Beach to downtown is also only a short walk away. The bed mattress needs to be upgraded. It was more of a futon than a proper mattress. But we managed and it a cozy space.
- montserrat (8/5): alojamiento bien ubicado con precio adecuado para ser Vancouver - la ubicacion, muy cerca del centro , fuimos y volvimos andando me parecio correcto todo
- Bruce (10/5): The place was great. Love Vancouver and the area in Kitsilano. - Very nice place, very clean and cosy, the bed was comfortable and is a perfect place for two wanting to stay in the unique Kitsilano area. Great location, right by the beach and easy transit use. 10 min to downtown. We would come again. Prefect place to stay. Meeted our expections as described. We would use it again.

- rachelle (10/5): - We loved the location. Lots of restaurant options, shops, close to the beach and very walkable. Would have been nice to have a wash cloth.
- Katriona (6/5): Very convenient location - Great location Parking was very difficult near the house.
Then very expensive to pay for.
Probably a bit small for three adults
- Jomajori (2/5): - Limpieza,
- Jodie (7/5): Nice for a night if want to stay out of Vancouver city area; quiet and nice neighbourhood - Quiet area. Close to cafes and restaurants. Close to Kitsilano beach. Affordable. Comfortable for a night. Access is via a bumpy walkway (difficult when wet with heavy suitcases), and latch on gate needs fixing. There are 3-4 very steep steps down to studio - need to be careful if wet from rain. Also not suitable for anyone who has difficulty managing steps; elderly mother struggled.
Nice bathroom but nowhere to put toiletries. No little long-life milks for first arrival coffee. Sofa bed wasn’t made-up as requested, and no sheets or blankets where advised they would be. Found spare sheets eventually, but no blankets (luckily found spare doona/quilt cover).
- Edith (10/5): Great stay would come back - Area
- Kathleen (5/5): Good location but not great in terms of value - The location is good. Near but and near downtown (15 min) The TV didn’t work, the bed area wasn’t that clean, not accurate as the pictures show on Booking and we hear every footsteps of the neighbors upstairs. Like every move. Super loud. Should be fine if you only stay one short night.
- Jack (7/5): Listing description is accurate. Fine for a couple. - Location was good. Close to shops and Kits beach. Kitchenette not great or easily accessible. Space is small but listing is accurate.
- Nicky (7/5): Great, would stay again if new bed - Location was fantastic, easy to get to the bus and skytrain. Food shops nearby and a circle K, just a block over. Was clean, tidy, bathroom all functioned well. Fan was a nice touch as it does get warm. Communication from the owner was good. Little but cluttered, photos could do with updating. More tables n desks in there and no chairs to eat dinner. So had to stand or sit on couch n hold the meal with one hand. Bed was awful?! Not sure what is wrong with it. Looks to be held up with other mattress?? Side closest to the lounge was like sleeping in a hollow and very uncomfortable. Needs a new bed or some serious repairs?
- Alice (8/5): Very good - The location near Kits Beach and transit, check in and out process, and sleeping arrangements with two beds was great. It was set up well for preparing easy meals and was spacious. Two suggestions: Set up a streaming service/access to one news channel. We had no luck using the app recommended to access our own Netflix so we had no TV access for 4 nights. Our daughter, who is extremely tech savvy (she lives in Vancouver), visited and couldn't make it work either. A couple of TV trays etc to eat by the day bed and ice trays would be nice.
- Andrea (6/5): Pleasant - Check in was extremely easy, the owner sent detailed information on how to access the suite. The location was fantastic, close to two major transit routes and lots of stores, food and a no frills close by. Very walkable and location had a beautiful small city neighbourhood feel. The suite was clean, there was extra towels, pillows and sheets. There is no kitchen, a small counter has an air fryer, microwave, coffee maker (no coffee filters though) and kettle. There is no sink. If you are the type that cooks food for your stays and needs a sink for doing dishes etc this place is not for you.
This basement suite is NOT sound proof. You can hear the upstairs people talking, the TV and the footsteps above are very very LOUD.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kaari (9/5): Great private location close to public transport and beach - Location is absolutely amazing, close to transit and the beach. Streets are quiet and safe, there is a great cafe nearby. Place was comfortable and clean. Kitchen could be made a bit more convenient, I didn't mind washing the dishes in the bathroom, but regarding other things, for example: instead of the big TV could be a kitchen table with 2 foldable chairs, a pod using coffee machine etc.
- Sheila (7/5): Cosy studio in an excellent location in Kitsilano, good value for money. - The location of the studio is great, just a short walk from Kitsilano Beach and an even shorter walk to the local deli and corner shop (the coffee and pastries in the deli are excellent). Extras such as shampoo and conditioner were provided, as well as tea, sugar, olive oil etc. It’s always welcome and a nice touch when a property host does this, and very much appreciated. Plenty of hot water too. The studio could have done with a bit more of a thorough clean.
- Francesco (8/5): Very good - Nice place in a nice neighbourhood. It was not very clean on the ground. There were a small table to eat and a microwave, but only 1 chair (not exactly the best for two or more people).
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (1/5): flooded - did not stay due to flooding flooded unit. stayed elsewhere
- Giulia (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (6/5): It met our needs - Simple accommodation. Close to where our son lives Having to wash crockery in bowl with water from bathroom sink
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional - Nice neighborhood, clean unit.
- Louisa (10/5): The perfect little studio for staying within walking distance of everything Kitsilano has to offer. - This is the perfect little studio for a couple. Within walking distance of everything beautiful Kitsilano has to offer, clean and comfortable. N/A
- Clarence (7/5): Good - Accommodations were clean. We would prefer unscented laundry detergent.
- Adrian (8/5): Very good - Nice and cool
- Gemma (8/5): Great location. Value for money. - Super central right around the corner from Kits beach. Bed was comfy. Value for money. No kitchen sink. Also no Iron or ironing board that would have been good to have.
- Lindsay (8/5): Very good - Great location. Nice and clean. Warm and cosy All good. A kitchen sink would be good.
- Alisha (10/5): Julie was a great host & very communicative. Check in and out was very easy & location was great! - Great location - easy set up as well
- Natasha (6/5): Pleasant - The neighborhood was perfect! It was walking distance to many restaurants and scenery. The bed was comfortable and the unit was clean. N/a
- Joni (8/5): Nite stay in a small convenient located suite in beautiful Kitsilano! - Location was excellent. All the amenities very close by, very nice neighborhood. The place was very clean. Bed comfortable. Even though the directions to enter the property were spelled out with a picture, it was still hard to get in there when it was dark at night. I’m not sure how the host would fix this, however. I also found the lockbox really hard to work with. I had to put the code in many times in order to get it to pop open.
- Pat (9/5): Superb - In a lovely area of Vancouver . 5 minutes walk to the beach and there's a lovely sea walk from there . Property was very quiet and the host sent on access details a few days b4 our trip. It's a basement apartment
- Finn (7/5): Convenient - Price A bit to many little tables
Entrance muddy when raining.
- Rianna (10/5): Exceptional -
