O pessoal da portaria são muito simpáticos e prestativos; facilitam muito a sua estadia. Apesar da localização, há várias construções e obras de novos empreendimentos próximos, o que trás alguns inconvenientes. Mas a infraestrutura da cidade é péssima e para uma cidade que cobra taxas de turismo, não há serviços que condizem com a propaganda veiculada. Não há coleta seletiva, as praias são sujas, você tem que disputar cada centímetro quadrado com os camelôs e "serviços de praia", que não respeitam os turistas, a sujeira devido à ausência de serviços de coleta de lixo e o mau cheiro que se espalha pela cidade.
