Guest Reviews
- Susan (7/5): Cosy cabin in a beautiful location. Arrive before it gets dark. - Lovely location. Good heating. Comfortable bed. Pretty well equipped. Nice outdoor fire pit. We had trouble finding the tiny house, but this was largely because we arrived late and in the dark. Would have been good to have cabin names or numbers on the homes to make them easy to identify.
Having a box of dry kindling available to use for the fire pit would be a welcoming touch.
- Kathryn (10/5): Peaceful Stay - We had such a lovely stay in the tiny home. Steven was incredibly accommodating and made everything easy for us.
It was so peaceful and quiet, with the fire creating the perfect atmosphere in the evening — exactly what we needed for a reset away from the city. The space was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and even a BBQ (which we didn’t end up using). The shower had great pressure and was nice and warm too.
Overall, no issues at all — just a really relaxing and enjoyable stay 🙂 It would have been helpful to have a hand towel, bath mat, and a tea towel for drying dishes. It also gets quite cold at night, so we’d recommend bringing extra layers to sleep in — the heat pump is located outside the bed area and can be a bit noisy if used. Otherwise, everything was great!

- Peter (6/5): If these things could be improved, it would make a big difference - The location was very good There was dirty cooking equipment and cutlery. Also some of the resources were running low or empty such as the hand soap dish dishwashing liquid tissues.
The key was not able to be removed and so could not lock the home. Contacted The host and thought they may fix this. He was responsive but it was not fixed.
- Anna (9/5): - Beautiful spot and lovely hosts

- Natacha (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable! - We absolutely loved our stay in the tiny home, it was so comfortable and such a wonderful experience. I’ve always wanted to stay in one after watching TV shows about tiny home builds, and it was just as fascinating and cozy as I imagined. The location was perfect for relaxing and unwinding, a peaceful escape from busy city life. Being surrounded by nature was a highlight, especially seeing the horses, sheep, llamas, and so many beautiful birds. It was the ideal place to slow down, recharge, and enjoy something a little different. I would happily stay again. Nothing. It was perfect.

- Katie (5/5): - It was private I wasn’t told there was livestock and I had booked it with my dog
- Ross (9/5): Lovely peaceful location surrounded by nature and close to Grampians hiking spots - Lovely peaceful location surrounded by nature and close to Grampians hiking spots
- Yvette (4/5): It was not comfortable at all due to the heat and inefficient aircon, even the host agreed that this tiny home aircon wa - It was in a quiet spot The aircon did not work sufficiently and we were there on a 43C temp day. We went driving in the car to keep cool and after a couple of hours of leaving the aircon on high we can back to a very uncomfortable temp so we decided to leave and go back home as our house was much more comfortable. There were only one pillow per person on the bed which I thought was a bit cheap. You could also not go outside after dark as the outside light attracted an enornaoyrs amount of bugs. The electric hot plate in the kitchen did not work and there and there were no instructions to follow to know if I was using it right. This meant that I could use my coffee percolator or cook meals that I had prepared for.
- Marilyn (8/5): Amazing experience, never camped before so this is the closest that I’ve ever been living out in the nature. Very comfor - Very clean and has everything we need The cassette toilet was a bit difficult to use and stench comes out if not cleared properly
- YB (10/5): - It had everything you need to make this experience worthwhile.
- Snjezana (6/5): It was lovely to have Steven check in through messages - Had everything needed Bed linen and towels
- Shenay (10/5): Super cosy and a great nature fix and escape from the city - It was a beautiful get away. Super cosy, remote and intimate. We had great communication with the host and really enjoyed the provided kitchen stove and fire pit. Would highly recommend 😊 N/A it was a 10/10

We love the cleanliness of the property and the hospitality of the host.
- Julian (8/5): Rural retreat. - Well equipped, clean and comfortable accommodation in a lovely secluded spot. Bathroom door needs fixing (mentioned in previous reviews). Wooden platform needs attention (wood has split in some places).
- Ellie (9/5): Sensational! I'm definitely coming back to this place! - Everything was amazing! The roller door for the bathroom was a little tricky to use, got stuck in the bathroom once but we managed to get out. But overall, everything was perfect!
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Alissa (9/5): Superb - We had a lovely stay at Northern Grampian Getaway. Unfortunately Google Maps took us the wrong way and we were stuck without mobile reception trying to call the owner to get directions. More detailed instructions on getting to the property would be helpful if this happens to anyone else.
- Howorth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (9/5): Great little getaway for a weekend - Steven was a great host - and really went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The property was clean and had all the appliance we needed for the weekend. Great location away from the busy city, and sufficiently close to town and activities Minor inconveniences - flashing lights above the bathroom and toilet fills up relatively quickly. Hot water didn’t work properly at first, but it was quickly resolved.
- Joshua (9/5): Superb - Our host Steven was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, and came late in the night to pass us bottles of water. He also provided us a free bottle of champagne that was delicious! The view was gorgeous, it was like camping in the woods for a night but in the comfort of a cabin Due to its rural area, some insects and flies got into the property
- Tracey (8/5): Great . All 1 could want for a 1 night stay - Was quite , and location great
Loved I could light a fire and a BBQ was there for use
Was very relaxing. Great It’s was 27 degrees and I could feel the heat outside inside radiating through wall
The air conditioner did its job but was uncomfortable with the heat .

- Baker (10/5): A peaceful, comfortable getaway and we cannot wait to come back - Clean, peaceful, surrounded by farm animals and bird life, the fire pit was easy to get started, the host was super friendly and made sure we were comfortable, we were never cold. We honestly loved everything
