Iustin (4/5): We wouldn’t recommend this rental to anyone. It’s overpriced, noisy, cramped, and poorly maintained. - We recently stayed in this house for three days during our trip to Quebec City, and it was, unfortunately, one of the worst rental experiences we’ve had. The photos and descriptions on the listing are misleading. Everything appears much larger and more spacious than it is in reality. It’s almost as if they used every trick in the book to make the property look better than it actually is. Noise was a constant issue throughout our stay. You could hear footsteps, toilets flushing at the crack of dawn, and street noise almost non-stop. It felt like we were living in a poorly insulated dormitory rather than a peaceful vacation rental. Another major problem was parking: there are only two spots available for three units. We ended up having to find street parking, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. As for the house itself, it’s the furthest thing from feeling like a home. In fact, we were relieved to return to our actual home after this experience. The house has a cold, unwelcoming vibe, and the furniture and appliances made it worse. Most of the appliances seem to date back to the 90s, clearly just dumped here by the owners to avoid upgrading.
Jim (5/5): Will not rebook. - No place to sit outside. Tub/Shower had no safety feathers. Tub very slippery. Ceiling fan hanging from the ceiling.
Jilliann (9/5): Superb - Very clean and cute. Very easy parking, and very handy that its an electronic lock - no key to worry about forgetting. A few of the hooks on the wall, and also the ceiling fan in the bathroom were loose when we arrived, looked like they might need some maintenance.
