• Crispin (8/5): Amazing place, in city centre, clean and tidy - The property was clean and well presented, everything worked as it should, place was close to all the action. It was great place to stay Only really tiny thing was we don’t know how to control the heating or use the fire. But I was nice and warm it we are cold people.

There was nothing I didnt like, if I wanted to be picky, the bed was harder than I'm used to, but thats a me thing. It was clean and spacious. So you couldn't dislike anything.

• Stewart (9/5): Truly excellent facility. - Excellent location, very close to the Cloth Hall and Menin Gate. Very clever use of space with an abundance of storage space. The beds were extremely comfortable. A brilliant facility in a beautiful town. The apartment has three floors, so some stairways to climb, but all very manageable. The entrance door had an advertising poster on it, which confused me initially as I thought it was another side window of the adjacent premises. The drawer containing the cutlery is cleverly concealed within another drawer, a bit too cleverly for me as I had to contact the host to ask where to find the spoons!

• John (8/5): Lovely stay at a fantastic location. - Fantastic location just around the corner from the main square. Parking was easy - 30min parking outside to load/unload luggage, longer term parking about 5min walk away. Apartment was spacious, tons of storage, lovely sunny terrace out the back. Kitchen well equipped (if a little chaotic) and great to have laundry facilities. Rather steep stairs, and the toilet door opens very close to the top edge Very warm already in late April, and the top-floor double bedroom has locked windows so its hard to cool it down Fridge/freezer wasn't very clean

• Lee (10/5): Having a perfect property made our stay in Ypres even better. - Location was perfect. Comfortable and spacious. Well equipped modern property. Entrance door was hard to close when you leave. Could do with a handle. But this is a very small problem and that’s all we could think of as a minor problem.

• Andrew (10/5): Perfect apartment in Ypres. - The apartment is beautiful, really modern, and very well equipped, master bedroom is stunning, and the two bedrooms on the top floor are comfortable and spacious, with lots of storage and immaculately clean. The shower was hot and powerful. Free parking is a few minutes walk away, and the apartment is literally a one minute walk from the market square. Communication with the host was excellent. We will be back, property added firmly to my favourites. Nothing, I couldn't fault it if I tried.

• Sharon (10/5): Absolutely amazing. A secret apartment which is like a tardis and keeps giving. - It was just perfect for us. On three levels but the main living one was spacious and quite opulent. Very modern and warm. Less than 1 km from the train station and in the heart of Ypres. Well, we did have trouble finding the door to the property in the dark. It looked like a window pane but a small key lock low down. Lottie sent a picture of it but we couldn’t access it on the day. A description along with key instructions, when initially sent, preferable.

Towels and bed linen not very nice. - Fantastic location, in walking distance of bars, restaurants, and sightseeing venues The top double bedroom in the attic was not very inviting. We had to stoop/bend over the bed to get to the top and into bed. There was no hooks to hang a dressing gown or towel and no mirrors in the attic bedroom. The separate toilet had nowhere to hang a hand towel and only cold water from a single tap for hand washing. The towels were a mismatch of worn out colours and what was once white towels were grey. The bedding sheets were stretchy, well worn and balled up material from wear.

It is in a Central location, the apartment is finished to a high specification. We Had excellent nights sleep in the extremely comfortable beds.

Everything is very modern and worked, plenty of towels, crockery and cutlery etc. Lots of stairs, not a problem for us but would be if you had mobility issues. Weirdly the front door has no outside handle so it was a bit awkward to close

• Helen (10/5): Great location - The location was perfect - right in the middle of Yeper. The apartment is modern and beautifully furnished, with a spacious living area and kitchen. We felt very much at home here. The apartment was cold when we arrived (it was December) and it would have been nice to have had instructions for the controls. There was no soap in the toilet.

• Mark (10/5): Perfect central location, very spacious apartment. - Excellent central location. Very very spacious apartment set over 3 floors. Clean and tidy, perfect. Nothing.

The pictures don't do the apartment justice! The only thing that could have been better, and it's very small, is some hand soap would have been great in the bathrooms.

• Diane (10/5): fabulous stay would recommend but not for the elderly or disabled because of the stairs which are really steep - excellent location very spacious and comfortable the builder in the property next door was drilling all day Sunday and woke us up at 06.45 on Monday, however this did not reflect on the owners of our stay as it was out of there control
