Inoltre, al momento del check-in, rientrando dal mare con un po’ di sabbia addosso, mi è stato chiesto dall’host di lavarmi con il tubo del giardino prima di entrare. Personalmente non è stato un grande problema, ma ritengo che questa richiesta possa risultare poco piacevole o inappropriata per altri ospiti

• Luke (8/5): Just brilliant - So reasonably priced. Yes, its very small, but when you’re exploring maggie island, you spend most of your time doing just that, out exploring! This is the perfect place to grab a shower and get your head down for a few hours before you do it all again tomorrow. Dee was welcoming even though we arrived unannounced due to not knowing our arrival time. We’re dog lovers, so she introduced us! Very close to the bus stop which costa 1dollar for the whole day! Clean & tidy, comfy bed, wifi, smart TV, warm shower, kettle with coffee & milk provided, what more could you need? All good!

• Mel (5/5): It was good - It was a cosy little cabin It got a bit too hot last night, we weren’t really allowed to control the temperature of the AC as it was controlled by the host, and my partner and I weren’t really comfortable

It was In a residential street and the tintwas in a driveway to close to the house. I was worried about making to much noise

• Lee (5/5): - Sheets were clean and the air-conditioning was great. The owners seemed friendly enough. When we arrived we actually drove away thinking google maps had taken us to the wrong address.... Definitely did not expect it to be a tiny cabin in someone's carport so close to the house. It felt uncomfortable with the owners walking past, like we were intruding on their space.
• DCC (5/5): Maggie weekend - Clean and tidy. Ok for an overnight stay for a couple if just looking for a place to sleep and not spend much time in or around. The entire studio consists of a small container decked out. Very little room to move. The advertisement is a little misleading. The owner was very abrupt and quite unfriendly. A long walk to bus stop if public transport needed.
• Megan (9/5): Cozy stay near Horseshoe Bay - Very cozy cabin close to the walking trails of Maggie Island. Five minute walk to bus stop, 15 minute walk to Horseshoe Bay. Lovely hosts. The bed was very comfy and it was a treat to have the TV with the streaming services. The bathroom was a good size and the shower had lots of power. A/C worked well. Quiet in the evenings so very easy to sleep. Would recommend for a quiet getaway on the island. The space is small, but this is shown on the pictures when booking. I had plenty of space as a solo traveller without lots of luggage. The WiFi disconnected from my phone but the mobile signal out there was fine.

• CORRADO (8/5): excellent choice if travelling on a budget - great stay if you are traveling on a budget and the owners are very pleasant the cabin is basically a well furnished container on the driveway of the owners and it is so close to the house that we could hear them sneeze, cough and snore all night.

• butt (9/5): Nice stay in a tiny private cabin - Very clean, close to bus stop, quiet neighbourhood, nice bed, good price It’s impossible to fit more in that room but the “kitchen” was small and impractical. No counter space. Rather just eat out at restaurants

• Ross (10/5): Loved staying here. Dee and her family are very good people. - Please only stay here if you are nice. Dee and her family are absolutely awesome. Their home is beautiful and they are a really good family who deserve really nice people staying with them. It was a pleasure to stay there and I will definitely be booking again. There isn’t anything we disliked about our stay.

• Clare (4/5): Don’t bring your cat……..you won’t be able to swing it. - This is basically a small portakabin on somebody’s drive. There is v little room and nowhere to sit inside apart from the bed. We ended up taking out what we needed and storing our suitcases in the car as there was so little space. Outside there is a small 2m x 4m strip of artificial grass mat with a small bistro table and 2 chairs from which you have a great view….of the front of your car and the owner’s jeep on the drive.

When paying for Accommodation I don’t want to feel like I hav - Location as wanted to be in bush surrounds and close enough to beach to walk in 10-15 minutes Being in a small box {basically} in someone’s carport with the family coming and going past my door, even though they were discreet about it, that was not what I expected when booking.. I thought it would be a separate and more removed cottage situation from the website description..

• Andres (7/5): **Amazing Stay at Magnetic Island Cabin** - We stayed at Magnetic Island Cabin from September 22nd to 24th, 2024, and it was a wonderful experience! The unit exceeded our expectations — it was reduced, but extremely clean, and well-maintained. The owner, who seemed to be a local, personally welcomed us, making us feel right at home. They took the time to explain everything about the island, including recommendations on what to do and see, which really enhanced our trip. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless, and we encountered no issues during our stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Magnetic Island, Queensland. It’s absolutely worth the money, and the comfort and hospitality made our stay comfortable Should be have access to the garden with a tea table
