- Tricia (6/5): Promotion does not match reality - Hosts were helpful and responded quickly to email as required. Bedrooms and lounge was nicely appointed. Lots of choices for younger children to be entertained with. Would recommend for summer stay only. The heating is only in the lounge which is a problem in winter when 2C in Bendigo overnight. One person slept on the couch is was so cold. The bathrooms are dated and the showers are not disability or older person suitable due to step down into showers. Also very small showers. Although advertised as pets friendly there is no secure area outside for dogs. Kitchen is well equipped but dated. A bit too far from central Bendigo there is no walking to grocery or eateries. Extra fees for everything not advised until after booking eg $150 extra pet cleaning and costs for late check out. Not very transparent.
