Guest Reviews

- Deborah (10/5): Fantastic birthday weekend away with a difference - Super clean and modern with everything you need . Just like being at home . Neighbours super friendly .Location excellent with easy transport nearby . only thing we thought needed a bit of attention was more lighting up on the top deck at night as those solar lights didnt stay on . Nothing else .
- steve (9/5): Definitely would stay again, plenty of towels, bedding and cleaning products - Very nice and different place to stay Having to leave !!
- Davis (10/5): A great stay on a fantastic boat - Exactly as it looks in the pictures Nothing to report
- Susan (9/5): Limehouse with baby birds - The location and uniqueness of the accommodation. The local wildlife was lovely too made even more so as there are lots of baby chicks, ducklings, goslings and cygnets around. There was even a nesting coot outside the bathroom window. It would be nice to have a step to help the older members of our family up into the boat
- Raquel (10/5): It feels like true holidays - This is my second time in the boat. I love this place. I like everything.
- Karen (10/5): Perfect luxurious stay - The boat was beautiful, warm, cosy, immaculate and luxurious!! Comfy beds, lovely shower!! Great location 25 min walk from Canary Wharf or 5 min on train. Secure location as gated and great communication for arriving etc. a beautiful boat for the summer too!! Would recommend. Nothing it was just as in pictures :-)
- James (3/5): Poor -
- Nicola (8/5): On the whole a very good experience and would do this again - Great location. Comfortable beds and living space. Bathroom was good too. Nice and warm and water bottles were a lovely touch The kettle/water for tea was unusable as had a very distinct fishy taste and smell. Some of the glasses could have done with a wash. Late checkin (8pm) is a further £50 charge, understandable but could have done without the added expense
- Hitesh (10/5): Exceptional - Better then a hotel! very peaceful relaxed area!
- Pamela (10/5): This was a first-class city stay from someone who is not overkeen on city life. A great experience - The DLR tube is only 5 minutes' walk from the nearest Tube station, Limehouse, to the houseboat.
The trains going to London run EVERY 2 to 3 minutes - change or walk from Bank and you are in the centre of the city. So easy. Tap on & tap off for the journey; the automatic paying is ticketless and fast.
The houseboat is in a quiet, gated (therefore, totally secure) houseboat 'village'. The quality of the fittings, bedding, kitchen, extras etc onboard are superb.
There are shops for daily needs within a 10 minute walk in Limehouse, good restaurants on the Thames side and all along the lovely Thames path to Canary Wharf.
Limehouse area itself isn't too smart, but there is far less hustle, bustle & traffic. Much more relaxing to be out of the city. I will recommend the GRA houseboat to all my friends. I am sure the other houseboats owned /managed by Patrick will be of the same high standard
. Can't do anything about wintry weather in June!!
- Jane (10/5): Fabulous 60th birthday treat - The boat is amazing. The location is stunning a proper little oasis in the middle of a noisy city. Easy to get to on public transport. Just fabulous. Area around the marina has basic amenities. As in not alot to do so you do have to travel into town x but it really isn't a big problem.
- Zawodniak (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (8/5): Very good -
- Raquel (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location and boat. Very clean and it has everything you need. The ducks in the canal a plus.
- Hollman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (10/5): Exceptional - The boat is of an exceptionally high standard. Lots of great little touches and everything you need on board.
