- Julia (10/5): It was everything that I needed - My stay was exactly what I needed! I had a 20-hour layover in China both on the way to my destination and on the way back. When I was heading out, I was full of energy and went to explore Chengdu. But on the way back, I just wanted a quiet place to rest and wait for my next flight—and this hotel was perfect for that.
I booked the hotel and they offered free transportation from the airport, which was super helpful. I arrived around 6 a.m., and they kindly let me check in early. I mentioned I needed to go into the city to grab a few things, and they were amazing—picked me up at the hotel, gave me time to shower and change, then drove me to the metro station. When I returned, I called them and they picked me up from the station. Later that day, they also took me back to the airport. All of this was included in the price of the stay!
The staff was so nice. The owner, who was in contact with me via text and phone, spoke English, while the rest of the team didn’t—but we still managed to communicate well using a translation app. Everyone was incredibly kind and sweet.
As a woman traveling alone, I was a bit unsure at first—especially since the area around the hotel looked a little sketchy on the way there—but everything turned out fine. Once I checked in, I felt completely safe and comfortable.
- Sevim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marife (8/5): It was comfortable apart from the cigar smell. - Cleanliness, staffs are friendly, free transportation. The room smell cigarette smoke.
- Sikder (10/5): Excellent - All staff was very friendly Nothing
- Sulesh (8/5): Comfy Airport Transit Stay! - Great comfortable accommodation close to the airport.
- Matthew (7/5): It was an adventure. Rural town outsider of the city - Clean room for good price. The road to the hotel
From the airport was closed do to construction of a new highway. I had to take a taxi all the way around the entire airport (40 mins) to travel 5 miles.
- Dariya (3/5): Small village, the room smelled of cigarettes. But they had a free tranfer from/ to airport. - Staff smoking inside the reception. Disgusting. The reception girl was really good , helped us to get a taxi to chengdu even though they spoke no english.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sevim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sazzad (1/5): Bad - Nothing Full of lies
- Vasyl (8/5): Great value for money if U need to stay for one night - Very cosy and clean, they arranged a transfer from
The airport and back! When I came in the balcony was open and it was really cold
- Fahmy (7/5): Good -
- Kenny (8/5): Good overnight stay from airport. - Near airport. Short taxi ride away
- Andras (1/5): This is a shithole. The transfer stopped on the threeway, we had to walk, than get into an even dirtier car. The ‘hotel’ - This is a shithole. This is a shithole.
- Lakshan (9/5): Superb -
- Ethan (7/5): Good -
- Sorec (6/5): Pleasant - The hotel was okay for the price, but parts of the room were quite dirty, and the floors were very cold, which was uncomfortable. The location was not convenient – quite far from the city, and the airport was 15–20 minutes away by car. The bathroom, particularly the shower, was impractical to use, which affected the overall experience.
- Michael (6/5): Photos doesn’t explain everything - Cheap Property wasn’t clean enough
- Wong (10/5): The free airport shuttle was really convenient and the rooms are like 5 star hotel in terms of the bed pillow and comfor - There is free shuttle and easy communication for shuttle pick up. The place is a bit like in a province but we needed to be close to the airport and with the free shuttle, it was very good. Surprisingly the rooms were very clean and the pillow and bed and comforter are very soft. I ask help with other matters and Mr Hu who was communicating to me in WeChat has been super helpful. Because I was in a hurry, he also assisted ahead of time our early check in. I would still choose this hotel if I’ll just stay near the airport
- Chantelle (7/5): Ok for 1 night stay - Not as close to the airport as I thought about a 15- 20 min drive
- Khadija (10/5): Exceptional - It,s clearly
- Dawid (10/5): Exceptional -

important is free transfer from Tianfu airport 24 hours
- Natalia (9/5): Superb -
- Nabawy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sugarmaa (2/5): Very poor -
- Izzaty (7/5): Good -
- Jessica (6/5): Pleasant - The availability of the shuttle from/to the airport to thwart hotel and from/to the metro, but be prepared because there will be more people on the same bus and it will take more than a pick up time. The hotel is 15 mins from the airport and there is a bumpy road before heading there, not pleasant considering the speed that the drivers have. The shower of my room at the ground floor was in between the wc and the sink, without walls nor barriers. It can not be considered a shower. Worst than worst is that the bedroom was not cleaned the second day.
- Ross (3/5): Do not stay here if you have any alternative, including remaining at the airport. - The beds were comfortable. The hotel is not near the airport terminals. It is a 30 minute shuttle ride away. It is in the middle of a swamp, under the flight path with almost no food or drink available. It has a view of a rubbish dump. The corridors and stairs are filthy. It is a dump.
- Mark (5/5): ok for short stay and very inexpensive. Clean. Further away from airport than expected. - OK for a sleep when arriving late at this airport.
Appreciate free shuttle to and from the airport. It's much further away from the airport than touted on the booking.com website. You drive about 20 minutes through windy roads into a small village where the hotel is. We were expecting essentially an airport hotel at or very near the airport.
- Yuki (4/5): Disappointing -
- Wai (1/5): Very bad and I wanted to leave and check up and sleep in the airport instead. - The staff has quick respond. There were more than 15+ mosquitoes when entering the room. Which we had to kill. Then during shower. There was no hot water and unexpectedly. There was a cockroach in the shower wall which scared me to death so I had to jump out the showroom immediately naked and had to ring the staff to come back they said the insect has ran away.
- Lee (5/5): Passable - Next morning woke up to witness a countryside experience. Nice to see local carrying out their daily activities. Reach the hotel late at night through dark lanes for quite a distance. Initially thought we have been scammed . Lol
- Gary (4/5): 2 star motel - This is a motel for Chinese people. It’s about 20 minutes away by either a 1 star taxi or the hotel bus if your lucky Nothing to eat
- Alan (8/5): A good value choice - 24 hour pick up/drop off from/to Tianfu Airport
- Marnie (5/5): Wouldn't recommend. Better to stay with a large hotel chain if wanting airport accommodation. - The room was clean and tidy with comfy beds and everything we needed. The pictures are somewhat deceiving. The rooms are nice but the grounds, reception, hallways, etc were dingy and dirty. Check-in was awful. The young girl didn't seem to know what she was doing and was giggling and fooling around with another staff/family member (they didn't speak English so I can't be sure that they were making fun of us but it sure felt like it). We asked if she could call us a taxi, as we had a booking that we were already late for, and she said she didn't know how to arrange a taxi. The hotel was a long way from the airport and not close to anything else so I'm not sure how they expect anyone to get around. We ended up paying a friend of theirs a lot of cash to just get us to where we needed to go. The older men who worked there seemed much more professional- and spoke English- but we had very little interaction with them during our very short stay.
- Nicanor (6/5): Pleasant - Room as clean and ok. Fine as a one night hotel
- Filipe (5/5): Passable - It was very difficult to communicate in English. They don’t speak English at all in the reception desk. Difficult the get some advices or enquirers answered.
- Yaroslava (7/5): Good -
- Mickey (10/5): Exceptional - perfect and friendly
the room is clean
- Ha (9/5): Superb -
- Jay (7/5): This is not Holiday Inn - Hotel was decent The hotel is NOT Holiday Inn. Name is Holiday Hotel, it's 20 minutes from the airport in a village.
- Abdul (5/5): Passable - Is good
- Tarek (9/5): Superb - The room was clean, as the receptionist was helpful and always welling to help us. The hotel was away from nearest transportation and other services
- Taj (7/5): Good -
- Kirill (8/5): Very good -
- Yingfei (3/5): Didn't have a good rest for the stay. - This hotel does not have restaurant. The water suddenly stopped when I was using the shower. Cheap and poor-quality countryside hotel. It is not a real Holiday Inn hotel.
- Yoguoh (10/5): Exceptional - I am glad
thanks staff of hotel help me find my luggage.
very friendly
- Emma (7/5): Good - Middle of nowhere , no shops or food places, literally just a stop for sleep and the next flight Middle of nowhere, nothing around
- Grenn (10/5): good - very good
I am happy for this travel
driver and staff are friendly
- Malik (1/5): Bad - Close to Tianfu airport
Shuttle from and to the airport
Fast response to booking.com messages Rooms smell very bad, either smells like sewers downstairs due to the veggie farm and drain/creek on the back of the hot , while bed and everything else full of cigarettes smell in other rooms
Location in a very remote village, if you want to go to the city you will spend hours in the way.
Rude and unhelpful receptionists.
- Sharon (5/5): Felt mislead. - This is not a ‘Holiday Inn’ hotel. The name is terribly misleading. PLEASE CORRECT IT.
The hotel is a truly rural accommodation. It was clean and inexpensive.
- Britteny (10/5): Exceptional - Great service, comfortable and well appointed room. Everything was clean, snacks available at reception.
Call or arrange the airport shuttle early. You need to go to exit 13 for pick up.
- Shirley (9/5): Superb - clean n big, staff are very helpful.
there is one street market there
- William (10/5): Exceptional - The employees are very friendly, and shopping and dining nearby are very convenient. They have stayed at the hotel multiple times and are worth recommending.
- Alessio (4/5): Disappointing - The staff was kind when i arrived, and helpful. The "holiday inn guoshang" is acutally NOT from yhe Holiday Inn brand, as the name mistankenly suggest. It is a run down place in th
- James (10/5): Exceptional - The staff service is very friendly and the attitude is good. There are free shuttle buses to and from the airport, and there is a wake-up call service in the morning. The room is clean and hygienic, not cold at all, and the air conditioning is very good. It is indeed convenient to stay at their hotel multiple times!
- Rbuh (8/5): Quiet area yet convenient to find food options - Turn right after exiting the hotel and you will reach a bustling small town after 5 mins walk. There are many eating places serving local food, and small shops and supermarkets too. I had a piping hot pot of soup with 250g of goat meat and tripe for 40 CNY, with steamed rice on the house. The owner chef said that he bought locally farmed goats and slaughtered them himself, pointing to a fresh carcass hanging just outside his shop.
Turn left and you will see free range chicken, and vegetable plot after vegetable plot. Wonderful for a peaceful morning or evening stroll ! The 20+ mins drive between Tianfu Airport and the hotel was rather unexpectedly long and round-about. I understand that the whole airport area is still undergoing major development, and there is currently no more direct route. Hopefully, this will improve when the connecting road infrastructure is more developed.
- Kim (8/5): Very good -
- Rached (8/5): Great stay and great staff - Bice newly renovated room and great helpful staff Kettle kept setting off the safety switch. Location was not too close to anything
- Acharya (10/5): Stayed there for my transit on TFU. Everything was smooth and excceded my expectaion. - Convenient location , free airport pickup and drop. Staffs are super friendly and way more helpful . Nothing
- Stephen (9/5): Very friendly and accommodating staff. Provided transport to hotel. I would stay there again - Large clean room No breakfast option
- Minassi (5/5): Passable - Kind staff (no english availble. they try to communicate through translating app)
Near to airport (20min away)
Free pick-up and sending service
calm and noise-free neighborhoods. Low temperatures despite heating (via air conditioning)
bad odors in the restroom
No breakfast.
far from center.
Rural neighborhoods.
- Lena (9/5): Superb -
- Akash (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chui (6/5): This is Holiday Hotel NOT Holiday Inn. We felt being cheated for paying the price for a 2.5 stars hotel. - It’s clean 1.. The name ‘Holiday Inn’ lead to misrepresent that this establishment is linked to the REAL Holiday Inn franchise.
2.. Location of the property is not what showed on the web page
- Debbie (6/5): This hotel is not a holiday inn hotel, I booked for an overnight transit stay as it was close to the airport and offered - Free Airport pickup and drop off No credit card payment option
- Temir (3/5): quite a poor place to stay near the Tianfu airport. - relatively close to Tianfu Airport, 20 min drive by free shuttle provided by this "hotel". Price is cheap. It is not "Holiday Inn" hotel chain - it is fake name specifically made to mislead people, it is in fact a very small private motel. It is not even possible to call this place a hotel. The building looks very old and creepy, interior is dirty. Reception room is in a hangar, owner/receptionist is smoking cigarette just in front of you, no English available. Payment only either cash or Alipay/wechat pay, no credit cards are accepted. Room is relatively clean, but there is a heavy smell of cigarette smoke, there is no concept of "no-smoking room". Sound insulation does not exist, you hear everything, including neighbours having private fun, checking out, opening and closing doors etc.
- Prithu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tia (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is a bout 20mins away front the airport. There are nothing around the hotel but the staff are super helpful which make shy stay comfortable and memorable. If you have tight connection from TFU airport, this hotel is definitely a good place to stay with.
- Crystal (2/5): This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.Even can’t be a hotel. - i didn’t happy this hotel, even this can’t be a hotel. Very bad location. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, how can this environment and place be rated as a hotel? It's like an old farmhouse. When we first checked in, the waitress's attitude was a bit better. The woman the next day was simply discriminating against our own race. We made an appointment to arrive at the airport, but we sent a message to the waitress an hour and a half ago informing them that there was no need for 'wake up service'. We went to the small town to eat and would return to our accommodation before 10 o'clock. We had already returned to our accommodation by 9:50am. The waitress scolded us fiercely and asked us to quickly return to our room to pick up our luggage, When we finished picking up our luggage and were arranged to wait for a foreign couple to arrive late, the bus to the airport only started. We are very dissatisfied with this accommodation, it's far from the hotel! The feeling of being deceived, as well as the fact that I stayed first and then paid, the waiter at this restaurant asked me to pay first before moving in. Is it because I'm afraid I won't be satisfied with the environment and service attitude and refuse to pay?
- Rishav (9/5): Good value for money - The place was clean, no noise as it was near country. The room was surprisingly large enough, very clean, had a super comfy bed, and very decent bathroom with hot water. They also provided complimentary airport taxi for return. Not much to say as we just stayed overnight since our layover was 10 hours.
- Ng (9/5): Superb - front counter was very helpful and friendly.
- Meena (6/5): Pleasant -
- Yuhan (1/5): Don't book it even it is the last one you can find. - None Please correct the hotel name: it is Holiday Hotel, not Holiday Inn, which is false advertising! The location is poor as well.
- Karsten (8/5): Very good - Spacious and clean room.
Shuttle Service to TFU Conversation in english is very hard.
The name " Holiday Inn " is not correct.
You can mix it up with the real "HOLIDAY INN" in the airport zone
Please change the name here on booking.com
- Tia (9/5): booked here for my return trip already - The staff are helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. In a small town (or even village 20-30mins away from the airport. There are NoThing around. I arrive at night a staff came and picked me up. The way to the hotel were scary. Literally, in to the woods. I was very scared but it turn out to be a false alarm.
- Chirantan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Amazingly comfy hotel with amazing staff! - Everything was perfectly cleaned and maintained! Very spacious room with everything I could need. The staff were extremely nice and helpful! Not much in immediate surrounding area
- Szelee (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chiedza (9/5): Superb -
- Saraswati (7/5): Overall satisfied A little breakfast or coffee bcoz of the location would definitely help travellers like me who are veg - Cleanliness Tye owner was always out there to make the visit comfortable Everything that is not likeable is covered by the efforts of the onset to make it worth Feel it is little expensive but considering the location the pick n drop to the airport as well as the metro makes it worth
- Jaouad (10/5): Friendly environment - I like everything especially the staff Nothing
- Husain (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (6/5): A bit rough but the price made up for it . - It is located in a village and provided me a opportunity to see the rural side of China, which looked years behind in development from cities. I stayed only one night. There was nothing fancy about the facility, everything was just functional. There was no elevator. The room was clean and staffs were helpful. The bathroom smelled because it was airtight, so it smelled like week old wet towels. The room window was open because it was the right weather for it, and I liked the fresh air. But there was construction going on next to the hotel and someone started hammering at 7 in the morning, not good for me who checked in at midnight and went to bed at 1 am. I tried closing the window and turning the ac on, but the ac smelled, and that was that.
- Victor (10/5): Recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bed is comfortable. Room is clean and tidy. I loved staying here for two days while I was waiting for my flight. The hotel is close to the TFU airport but I haven't been bothered by planes. For the price there is nothing I could wish were better.
- Chan (8/5): Very good -
