• Eileen (10/5): Fantastic apartment with a beautiful sea view and a great location - The apartment is set on the 5th floor overlooking La rada beach. The property has the perfect blend of being very comfortable and excellently situated only minutes away from the charming Old Town of Estepona where you will find many lovely restaurants and cafes or just simply meandering through all the delightful little streets The apartment is very modern, exceptionally bright clean and incredibly well equipped. The very comfortable sitting room looks out to the beautiful sea view. We enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets from the balcony also a favourite spot to have breakfast The large television has all the streaming services accessed by your own account. The main bedroom which is very attractively furnished with a very comfortable super king size bed. The second bedroom again has the same high quality finish with 2 single beds. The kitchen is very well equipped with all good quality appliances and all very easy to operate. The two bathrooms one is large the other smaller both have walk in showers with good water pressure. The host Edgar was very easy to contact and amenable he always responded to any text message that I sent. In summery what we appreciated most was we felt that the host had given great attention to the quality and comfort of guests. It is truly a beautiful apartment equipped with everything that you would need for an independent holiday but with all the home comforts. We highly recommend this property. We certainly without hesitation would rent this apartment again. Nothing.
• Heidi (1/5): Stay here if you want an unresponsive host who won’t respond to emergencies or return your deposit - Great location. Clean other than the sofa, which was stained and needed a deep clean. The host went silent after receiving the deposit of 300 euros. Did not respond to any messages or calls, even when water and electricity went out for hours. Has not retuned our deposit even with intervention from booking.com. We need to assume there is a fraudulent situation here and escalate this to financial authorities. Be warned! The apartment is nice, but there are dozens of similar apartments on the beach front that don’t have an unresponsive host that does not return your deposit and refuses to respond to enquiries. Or a host that doesn’t respond to messages asking for help when left without water and electricity for hours. Booking.com had to intervene at every step with this booking: - the host initially contacted us through an unverified WhatsApp number, no listed on the booking.com platform, asking for a 300 euro deposit to an external link. Only after booking.com intervened did they send the request through the platform. - once the deposit was paid, the host went silent and ghosted us, even when the oven started working and then we were left without water or electricity for 6 hours. They did not respond to enquiries from the booking.com team either and never intervened to solve the issue. - They have not return our deposit of 300 Euros and have not responded to any enquiries made by us or booking.com. Booking gave them 5 business days to return the deposit, but they never responded and we now need to escalate the issue to get our money back.

• Ana Cristina (10/5): Estepona, bella ciudad p - Ha sido todo un acierto, apartamento fabuloso, las vistas inmejorables, la entrada del edificio se encuentra en calle peatonal, con todo tipo de servicios ( farmacias, estancos, administración de lotería, centro médico, y un amplio abanico de tiendas, cafeterías, bares), es una vía arteria, del centro histórico de la ciudad. Está en pleno centro del paseo marítimo, muy bonito, con todas las infraestructuras( entorno natural, espacio para la recreación, servicios y ocio, atmósfera y ambiente), paseo extenso, calidad en su playa, con una amplia vegetación, actividades de ocio para todo tipo de público, destacar su accesibilidad y comodidad.

• Michelle (10/5): Estepona is a fantastic place and the apartment was beautiful. Excellent value for money. - The location was perfect, very close to the beach, restaurants and the old town. Apartment itself was beautiful and exceptionally well equipped with everything you could need and more. Complimentary beach furniture was a great bonus. Lifts and entry lobby were kept immaculate. Instructions for finding the apartment were vague. The front door to the building is in a pedestrianised area and not visible from the road, nor is the street name. The Caixa Bank building could be used as reference point as the apartment is behind this.

NOT SUITABLE FOR LONG TERM STAYS..MAX 3 DAYS..GOD HELP YOU IF YOU NEED TO CONTACT BOOKING.COM TOO IF YU ENCOUNTER A PROBLEM..NO RESPONSE AT ALL!..A LOT OF CONSTRUCTION IN THE AREA HENCE VERY NOISY..HOSTS NEVER MENTION THIS..HOSTS DONT ANSWER THE CALLS JUST WHATSAPP AND VERY SLOW IN RESPONSE TOO.GOT A PARKING FINE OF EUR200 FOR STOPPING WHERE THE HOSTS SAID TO STOP THE CAR TO OFFLOAD THE SUITCASES!"..THE APARTMENT WAS EXTREMELY DIRTY WITH LONG HAIRS AND GRIME IN THE KITCHEN FLOOR AND BALCONY..ALL THIS WAS MENTIONED TO THE HOST WHEN I CHECKED IN BUT NO RESPONSE!..THEY ALSO GOT EXTRA EUR20 "CLEANING FEE" BECAUSE I CHECKED 2 HOURS EARLIER THAN THE NORMAL CHECKIN TIME..JUST AVOID IT.

• Karolina (4/5): Great location, but dishonest host and disappointing experience - Great location We’ve been using Booking.com for many years and have stayed in dozens of properties across Europe, but we’ve never encountered such dishonest and unprofessional behavior. The apartment was as described and located in a great area. However, it was already quite worn out and poorly maintained – for example: • Kitchen furniture was visibly damaged, • Some bathroom elements were swollen and warped from water exposure. Still, we could have overlooked this if the rest of the experience had been fair. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. After check-out, the host refused to return our deposit, making completely absurd accusations, including: • Leaving the apartment in bad condition (not true) • Staining the carpet (we have photo evidence that it was stained when we arrived), • Breaking into a “private” wardrobe (none of the wardrobes were marked as private or locked, and we certainly did not break into anything). To make matters worse, when we tried to resolve the issue, we were told that if we left a positive review, a partial refund of the deposit might be considered. That kind of manipulation is completely unethical. We’re not sure if these lies came from the host or their cleaning company, but the result was the same – an attempt to withhold our money and silence criticism. After many attempts to communicate, we eventually agreed to accept a partial refund of €230, just to recover at least part of the deposit. However, the host only transferred €150, and claimed the remaining €80 would be released “in 2–3 weeks” – which, unsurprisingly, never happened. The rest of the deposit was only returned to us thanks to the direct intervention of Booking.com – not the host. Without their help, we likely would have lost the money entirely. It’s a shame, because the apartment could be a great place to stay. But the way we were treated left us with a deep sense of frustration and mistrust. Be very cautious - the apartment may be okay, but you may pay more for it than expected

Good sea view. host communication was very good and clear instructions for entry and inside apartment. Damage deposit was refunded immediately. Nothjng

• Matthew (10/5): Lovely spotless apartment, very large comfortable double bed, stunning view and perfect location. Host was fab and came - The apartment could not have been in a better location, right near the beach with a wonderful sea view and in the Old Town full of excellent restaurants and bars. I honestly can’t fault it and would recommend.
