• Sarah (7/5): Great location, well appointed apartment but bedroom is way too warm. - Great location, nice apartment for single traveler or couple. Other than the bedroom everything was great. Bedroom gets insanely hot in the morning. Unbearable by about 8am, there is a fan but doesn’t help that much. Would hate to imagine what it’s like in the middle of summer. If you like to sleep in then this isn’t the place for you.

Very clean and everything worked except a break in internet at an inconvenient time. Very clean. Parking very useful in the middle of Canberra The bed was a bit small and the pillows were very large and uncomfortable. As there was no through airflow in the bedroom, it was rather hot at night.

• John (8/5): Well situated and appointed but bedroom uncomfortably hot. - Clean, well equipped and central. As there was no ac in the bedroom and with black blackout blinds this made the bedroom uncomfortably hot. The washing machine was very noisy when spinning.

• Mark (10/5): Great apartment for a stay in central Canberra - Very convenient apartment in the centre of Canberra, with a view toward Mt Ainslie. It's central, but there's the feeling of being close to nature with the view. We liked that the apartment was very nicely furnished, and there was a lot of space with the little office area at the back. The balcony is also very nice and large. The apartment had everything we needed, and we made use of the washing machine and iron etc., and the kitchen equipment is good quality. It was important to us that the parking was very convenient and secure. We were there on one of the hottest days of the year, but with the air-conditioning it was very comfortable. Being just across the road from the Canberra Centre was very useful for shopping. We also appreciated a lot that there were some basic groceries in the cupboard, and products for washing. The host was very helpful.

Comfy bed. Friendly and very responsive hosts Bedroom got quite hot but we were there during a heatwave and turning the lounge a/c on high and pulling the blinds down made it ok.

• Jim (10/5): Great 2 day stay in Canberra made more enjoyable by the quality and location of this apartment. - Communication with Tim and Roxanne was great and because they did not have someone coming in the same or next day, they were able to offer a (very) late check out at 3:30pm for our 5:30pm flight out of Canberra. Very considerate of them and much appreciated. The amenities provided in the apartment were very good - grocery items, cleaning products etc. All great for short term travellers not having to buy essentials. The apartment is right across Cooyong Street from the Canberra Centre Cannot think of anything we did not like.

• Diane (9/5): - The location was excellent. Very close the Canberra Centre and Civic are generally. Only a small thing. The bedroom had very thick drop blinds which were black. This meant early morning sun heated the eastern facing blind which radiated a significant amount of heat. This would be a more major problem in summer. (Possibly would be a plus in winter.)

• BonDradman (9/5): Modern, spotless Canberra apartment with great views and excellent value. - An excellent apartment right in the heart of Canberra. It’s only a five-minute walk to the Civic shopping centre and about twenty minutes to Lake Burley Griffin. Located on the sixth floor, it offers expansive views across to the War Memorial and Mt Ainslie. The apartment is modern, fresh, and impeccably clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, and the hosts thoughtfully provide a few essential pantry items. Secure basement parking is included, and Roxanne kindly accommodated our request for a late checkout. The bed was too soft for us, but I can imagine for others it will be perfect. The induction cooktop has controls designed in the "scandi" style, that is, minimal. You will need to experiment to figure it all out. A cooktop guide would have come in handy.

The apartment was very well laid out and everything one would need for a comfortable stay.

This property is well equipped, modern and quiet just across the road from the Canberra Centre. Easy, secure parking and easy access make it simple to enter and being met by Tim, our host made the whole process easy.
• David (9/5): An exceptional gem in the heart of the city. - A very clean, comfortable apartment, close to shops and restaurants in the city centre. It's the attention to little details, however, that makes this apartment much better than almost all others in which we have stayed. Tim met us in the garage to hand over the keys and show us our parking spot; any queries were swiftly answered; the study is really the size of a bedroom; towels are thick and fluffy; a real doona cover rather than those two sheet arrangements elsewhere that never stay in place; lots of hangers in the wardrobe; plenty of utensils in the kitchen. A lot of thought had gone into making visitors feel right at home. We would most definitely stay here again. Thank you, Tim and Roxanne. The bathroom is a little small for two but that's really being picky. With two glass walls, the bedroom must get warm in the summer with no direct air conditioning. We could feel the heat even when temperatures were autumn cool outside.

Directly opposite the Canberra Centre with cafes and supermarkets etc etc. Roxanne and Tim have thought of every possible need. Plenty of food in the cupboard and fridge. Even a razor in the bathroom The bathroom was a little cramped, but not a hassle for only two people. Maybe a small container of milk in the fridge

The separate study was a real help. The view of Mt Ainsley was stunning. We liked everything. Nothing to improve.

Outdoor balcony offered a lovely view of Canberra bushland and the War Memorial. Owner was friendly and responsive when we needed information. Large shopping centre a five minute walk away. A restful place to evade Canberra’s Summer heat.

There is only one in living room and bedroom gets hot in the morning. Apartment was generally clean, but there were a few areas where dust had gathered that should have been easily spotted by the cleaner.

• Joseph (10/5): Tim was great. He welcomed us and showed us to the parking and then the apartment. It is the second time at the same loc - Access to the city and Resturants While morning sun kept the bedroom warm, the aircon and fan cooled the rooms quickly.
• Carol (10/5): Perfect apartment in the heart of Canberra. - This apartment was in a great location close to the Canberra central shopping centre and also within 30mins walk of Lake Burley Griffin and Mount Ainslie. Glebe Park just across the road. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. Loved the views from the balcony. Secure parking.
• Jennifer (10/5): Comfortable stay in Central Canberra close to all attractions! - Roxanne and Tim communicated very clearly arrangements to collect keys. Roxanne was there to meet us at arranged time and gave detailed explanation of parking arrangements. Including the most appropriate lifts to use from the basement. Also Included how to exit and return keys on departure day. It’s important to note that our requests were noted and Roxanne made additional purchase to ensure our comfort . We thank her greatly for her thoughtfulness. Roxanne provided a thorough orientation of the apartment including appliance use and importantly the air conditioning system . They have concentrated on comments about heat build up in bedroom and have done all that is possible to mitigate this issue. If you follow the advice it works! It was definitely not a deal breaker for us and we would return on future visit to Canberra. The apartment was very comfortable with everything available. Including an array of pantry items if you needed them. The location is superb walking to lots of attractions including the Lake? Nice eateries close by at Braddon 10 min walk. Also good eating options in vast Canberra shopping centre across the road. In all a great stay . Nothing.
• David (7/5): Lovely but too hot for us - Location great, bed comfy, lots of essentials like coffee, glad wrap etc provided. Host lovely, couch comfy , though brought out chair from study if one of us wanted to stretch out The major problem was the heat. The bedroom and balcony were like ovens and the air con didn’t go in there ! Found a fan but did nothing to cool the room down … so so hot … I’m sure it would be fine in winter !!!

It was quit. The little balcony was great. Opposite the building was a huge shopping center. Behind it are many restaurants. Parking in the building! There were no tourist information brochures in the appartment or how to work the oven info.

Late checkout was appreciated. Hum from building if you sleep with open windows. Pool filter wasn't on & no skimmer to clear the bugs off surface.
• Vaughan (7/5): Great location - Great location middle of Canberra next to all the shops and restaurants , very new, clean and large apartment. Everything u need. Better then a hotel stay. If you have a car , terrible parking spot A maze of underground parking. No exit signs or arrows or anything to show which way is in or out. Maybe it's ok for residents but not for short term stays. On checkout you need to use access keys to get out then need to return to the room to drop of keys ....not the smoothest way to check out.

Laundry facility was excellent. The bedroom faces east and is affected by the rising sun causing significant heating. Insulating curtaining may be necessary.

In the best location in Canberra it had everything - spacious and well laid out with a balcony looking out at a beautiful view from the sixth floor. All facilities and more provisions than could be expected. Wonderful personal care from our host Tim who met us took us to our secure parking spot and then thoroughly showed us through our accommodation. Marvellous! Nothing.
