Guest Reviews
- Elyse (3/5): Go to the youth hostel instead - Responsitivity of the host House door doesn't get locked by the other occupants: it doesn't feel safe if just anyone can come in.House undergoing renovations, one of the toilet/shower room door does not lock, ran out of toilet paper in the middle of the night in both toilets and did not always have access to the parking place promised. Came back home with bed bug bites too.
- Kerry (6/5): Pleasant enough place to stay but room for improvement. - My room was very comfortable and warm. It also had a smart TV so I could watch Youtube. The communal kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook. The Wifi worked well throughout the apartment. The location was fine, only a short walk into the centre and station. There is also a Lidl not to far away. The area is residential and quiet compared to some other parts of Charleroi, so there was no junkies or prostitutes roaming the streets which made it feel rather safe. I think overall cleanliness could be better, the bin in my room hadn't been emptied for a while for example. I found the layout of the shower and toilet a bit strange, there is a misted glass window between the shower and toilet so if you are having a shower someone can use the toilet and see you to some extent. Not sure if its the same on the other floors.
- Oleg (7/5): Well equipped hostel - A well equipped hostel with a large kitchen area, with good renovation. I was looking for a place to wait 5-6 hours from late evening to very early departure closer to the airport. It suited me perfectly for this purpose.
