THE APARTMENT IS ON THE 4TH FLOOR WITHOUT A LIFT, ACCESSIBLE BY STAIRS APARTMENT RECOMMENDED FOR FAMILIES: no stag parties or groups of youngsters. ***VERY IMPORTANT*** Tourist tax in Barcelona has been raised to 5.50 € per day per person, up to a maximum of 7 days. This tax must be paid the day of your arrival. Please note: when checking-in to your apartment, any visitors aged 16 and under must present a copy of their passport showing their date of birth, in order for them not to be charged the aforementioned tourist tax. ****LATE CHECK-IN FEES**** The check-in fee is calculated according to your time and day of arrival, along with the apartment you have chosen. Rates: 20:00 - 23:00: +10 Euro 23:00 - 01.00: +25 Euro 01:00 - 09.00: +35 Euro Sunday and Bank holidays have an extra fee for 15 €. 1. The interior of the apartment is a nonsmoking area. Please use the balcony if you wish to smoke and put cigaret butts in an ashtray. 2. This property is NOT part of a holiday resort. Please keep noise levels to a minimum in the common areas of the building as well as in the apartment. It is forbidden to organize parties in the property. In Barcelona you will find plenty of bars, pubs, discos and restaurants where you can have a great time without disturbing anyone and compromising your stay. Please note the times when silence is required in Spanish towns: Monday – Friday: 21.30 to 9.00 Saturday – Sunday: 22.00 to 10.00 3. Whenever you leave the apartment, please: (a) turn off the lights, heat and air-conditioning system, and (b) lock the doors securely behind you. 4. Please place your garbage in the nearest container before checking out. Otherwise, a partial or even total deduction from the damage deposit will take place, depending on the owner’s decision. 5. The cleaning fee refers to the cleaning of the apartment on the day of departure. Cleaning during your stay will have an extra cost (consult your contact person). The cleaning fee does not include the washing of used dishes, so the client must wash all the tableware used during the stay (cutlery, glasses, etc.). Otherwise, a partial or even total deduction from the damage deposit will take place, depending on the owner’s decision. 6. If the client uses any extra bed linen or towels without permission, the cost of the laundry (between 15€ and 50€) will be deducted from the damage deposit. 7. Check out time is 11:00 am as we need to clean the apartment between 11.00 and 14:00, prior to the next check-in (normally about 14.00).This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. BOUTADGHART (5/5): Pas mal, ca pourrait être mieux pour le prix dépensé - Accueil très froid, presque aucune aide pour monter les valises dans les escaliers caution de 300 euros non encore remboursée taxe de séjour non incluse dans le prix payé et trop chère Appartement non propre Appartement pas bien équipé hôte qui tarde à répondre le jour de l'arrivée nous avons dû attendre dans la rue, très circulables, avec nos bagages plus de 20 min, sachant que nous avons fourni tous les détails de notre arrivée; Appartement très ancien, grand mais peu fonctionnel (pas beaucoup de rangements, deux petites cuisines, canapés très anciens,...) 4em étage en escaliers ...
sherri (8/5): Charm and character - Supermarket was right next store making it easy for our arrival to feed our kids. They provided coffee maker and coffee, hairdryers, washing machine, voltage converter (we didn't use) iron and some light snacks. There was a quiet terrace at the back of the apartment. There were many windows which allowed for lots of fresh air. The apartment was older but clean. The company was friendly to communicate with. The man that came to meet us with the key and show us the apartment was very friendly. There are 2 double beds and a bunk bed also 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. There's plenty of space for a family. The only improvement I can suggest is the pillows. They are very flat and only 1 per person is provided. On our second last night there it felt like our bed was sagging in the middle. We heard a noise that sounded like it was coming from the corner of the bedroom like something electric running. Then the bed was firmer??? That wasn't a bad thing because the bed was definitely more comfortable after that. We're still not sure if that was our imaginations. Overall it was a great experience! Better pillows are my only suggest. The walk up to apartment is 68 steps with no elevators. We didn't mind but we almost brought my Mom and it would've been awful for her.

Disappointing Family Stay at Housalia Paseo de Gracia Our Experience: Our family of four (two children aged 11 and 9) booked a 6-night stay at Housalia Paseo de Gracia. Unfortunately, after just one night, we had to relocate due to issues with the property's suitability for families with young children, particularly during colder months. Despite money was paid, we couldn’t risk the health of our young children. Issues Encountered: Toilets unfit fit for the purpose during winder time: The advertised two-bedroom property only offered one functional toilet located outside the rooms on the balcony. You need to go through two doors namely from the living room to the toilet area and from the toilet area to the balcony, both doors couldn’t be closed properly. Cold wind kept sneaking in. Unreliable Heating: The heating system in one room malfunctioned, leaving us feeling cold despite contacting the on-site manager who came in after 45 minutes. They offered a small heat fan which was not good enough to keep us warm. Inadequate Bedding: The provided thin blankets were insufficient for winter temperatures, contributing to our children falling ill. Unclear Website Information: Discrepancies existed between the advertised amenities (two toilets) and the actual layout (one toilet). We learned upon inquiry that the property owner had recently merged two units on November 26th, 2024, after our booking confirmation on November 23rd. Unfortunately, the website description had also been updated to reflect this change. Therefore, I had no way to verify that because I couldn’t go back in time to look at the then content. Challenging Accessibility: The property required carrying luggage up four flights of stairs with no mention of this detail in the listing. This proved difficult and potentially dangerous while you were carrying heavy luggages commuting up and down. The description after 26 November said there were 4 floors to reach the property.

Manoj (4/5): Apartment too small and being on the forth floor with no elevators was not at all value for money. - The apartment was centrally located. Collection of keys was very easy. The host was very responsive to try to resolve issues. The apartment was on the fourth floor with no elevator. Very hard to carry the luggage up. The rooms were too small; the pictures online were deceptive. Dishwasher was broken. Clothes washer and Dryer in the balcony - not convenient if raining.
Mary (8/5): Wonderful location, apartment needs updating. - Location is ideal - half a block off the passeig de gracia, 2 blocks to Plaza de Catalunya, easy and beautiful walk to EVERYTHING. Right in the heart of the city center. Great little balcony. Very attentive management company. Apartment is old and I guess that's part of it's charm, but could use updating. Didn't feel as clean as I like. Dishwasher didn't work. Space is laid out a little strangely with large entryway and a back hallway that aren't very useful. No dining table, not enough chairs or seating space in general.
