• Aad (6/5): Dichtbij sportpaleis, maar verder beetje ‘shabby’ - De locatie De 4 verdiepingen en gevaarlijk trapje naar 2e slaapkamer. Tuin zonder privacy.

• projer (9/5): Bel appartement - Bel appartement, bien situé et bien équipé. Absence de meuble dans la chambre pour pouvoir poser ses vêtements dessus. Pas de possibilité de verrouiller la porte de la salle de bain / toilettes.

• Alice (8/5): Heerlijk appartement voor een weekendje weg. - Heerlijke douche. Goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer. Veel ruimte. Keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. Supermarkt, bakker en groenteboer in de directe omgeving. Wel veel trap lopen. Er zijn 4 verdiepingen, maar je hebt wel het hele huis voor jezelf. Heerlijk bed, maar het kraakt wel enorm.

• Peter (9/5): Fijne uitvalsbasis om Antwerpen te verkennen. - Mooi en ruim appartement, vlakbij metrostation Handel. Je bent binnen een kwartier in hartje Antwerpen! Aardige en behulpzame eigenaar. De indeling is erg origineel. Je kunt er met 4 personen slapen. De zolderkamer is bereikbaar via een bijzonder trappetje. Buiten is er een ruim en leuk aangelegd terras. De keuken is zeer compleet ingericht. De huiskamer is op de eerste etage. Parkeren aan de straat is wat lastig (wel goedkoop), maar op 10 minuten lopen is er ook een parkeergarage. De buurt is niet de beste wijk van Antwerpen. Er hangen op straat groepen mannen rond. Mijn dochter vond dit erg onprettig. De straat waarin het appartement is is wel rustig.

• Daniela (10/5): - L'atmosfera accogliente e la pulizia dei locali. La zona non mi è piaciuta particolarmente ma era molto vicina all'appartamento di mia figlia che sta facendo un Erasmus ad Anversa.

• Paternostre (7/5): - C'est toute un maison, sur plusieurs étages, pour un prix très raisonnable. Elle est propre et bien rangée avec des attentions accueillantes de la part des propriétaires. Nous avions été attirés par la grande terrasse, mais avons appris sur place qu’elle n’était pas accessible en hiver. Les photos sont quelque peu trompeuses : la terrasse donne notamment sur le jardin du voisin, qui est aussi le propriétaire. J'ai eu un sentiment d'un manque d'intimité, la maison ne disposant pas de rideaux. La seule toilette a une planche mal fixée. L’une des deux chambres est trop basse pour s’y tenir debout et l’escalier qui y mène est très raide. Nous avons également manqué d'une couverture. Enfin, le logement n’est pas situé dans le centre comme annoncé, mais dans le quartier populaire du Seefhoek, toutefois très bien connecté au centre. Malgré ces points, nous sommes restés satisfaits du rapport qualité-prix et remercions le propriétaire pour l'accueil et la préparation du logement.

• Marcoen (4/5): Voor 4 personen is het geen geschikte locatie - De locatie om naar de Night of The Proms te gaan Bovenste slaapkamer bed was een matras op de grond. De koffie faciliteiten, niet duidelijk welke er waren en ook maar net 4 cupjes voor 4 personen. Konden ook maar net boven komen op een wenteltrap die los zit.

• Johan (9/5): Great value for money (if you're under 2m tall) - Beautifully decorated, very clean, easily reachable. I am very tall. This apartment is aimed at smaller people. The lack of curtains in the living area and bathroom made us a bit awkward.

• Jeffrey (7/5): - Very clean and cute apartment. Staff was very friendly and everything we needed was in the apartment. Excellent price. Hard to tell how small the second room is in the pictures. Had to go up a tiny set of stairs and not even a suitcase would fit. Location was not great either - necessary to take a taxi to shops and other activity.

• Eryn (7/5): Good - Spacious and clean home, Guy was extremely kind and helpful The stairs going from the kitchen to the main bedroom and bathroom go up faster than the ceiling, my husband and I each smashed our heads on our way up. The neighborhood did not feel safe

• Katrina (7/5): Matches the photos - The apartment matches the photos, with the exception of the stairs. It is clean and warm. Guy was easy to reach via phone and very friendly. The beds were comfortable and there was a nice kitchen plus bathroom available. While the description mentions there are stairs to the upper levels, they are not included in the photos and there are 3 flights of them! The rooms are comfortable, but there's no hanging space or closets. The only coat rack is on the ground floor as you enter the apartment, some hangers for clothing in the bedrooms would be nice, particularly if staying more than a couple of nights. We also couldn't work out how to operate the washing machine ( though to be fair, we didn't ask the owner for instructions when we couldn't work it out). There was also no laundry soap provided, hence we decided not to bother with laundry, though some instructions in a laminated sheet or binder would be helpful for future guests. We also found the beds and living room lounge / sofa on the entry level to be very low, almost on the floor, hence if you have arthritic knees or hips, this can be uncomfortable. The area is indeed a cultural hotpot of multiple nationalities, mostly Middle Eastern and African.I felt uncomfortable at times walking back in the evenings, having to go around groups of men mingling on the streets, and noticed there were very few women about. I was never approached or hassled in any way, but did feel I needed to remain vigilant and alert, especially after dark on the weekend. In summary, good for a short stay, but I would choose to stay more central next time I visit Antwerp.
