• Gershom (9/5): Our stay at the Rose Apartment - The staff are very hospitable, they've got a good welcoming spirit, they really make you feel at home. Everything was ok according to what we payed. I think they've lowered the prices to cover those minor things like the time to get warm water. And we also understand the electricity problem in this country.

• Kieran (10/5): The stay was breathetaking and truly made of life saving! - It was cozy, private and the staff were incredibly inviting, kind and professional. There are other tenants/guests on the property but everyone is lovely and private. The landlords have an incredibly friendly, affectionate and funny dog - which for me is a huge bonus! The area is not the best but in terms of value for money makes it all worth it. The neighbours can have some alterations in the road but never anything risky. Once on the property, however, there are no issues whatsoever.

• Busisiwe (10/5): The Rose - I liked everything about the place, the host was really great and assisted us with everything we needed and more. She constantly checked on us and made sure our stay was comfortable. It has a really beautiful view by the dinner table, my partner and I had a beautiful setup for supper.

• Marshall (10/5): I had to find cheap accommodation in an emergency. I had been staying nearby with my aunt. - It is a large 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen and a shower. The host is next door. It is in a mixed mostly African area of Jo’burg (which probably accounts for the low price. There are 2 small supermarkets nearby and a bar serving food. The nearest supermarket which provides English food (e.g. breakfast cereal is about 2km away at Northcliff corner Bayers Naude Drive. There are a lot of “4th Streets” round here, it can be difficult for Google Maps to find the right one.
• Williams (10/5): Very welcoming as a family, was not treated as a tenant. - I loved the family environment, they were very accommodating.. I slipped down the stairs , safety isn’t to standard for the price. I didn’t like that the property did not have any type of cooling system. I didn’t like that I had to wait for a time to use utilities and the amount of electricity consumption made me a bit anxious. I had to leave because I couldn’t sleep comfortably with the mosquitos as I had to sleep with open windows and stress about rain
