- Jodie (10/5): A comfortable place to stay in the artsy part of Florence - A lovely, spacious apartment which was very comfortable. Located in the Oltrano, which is the artistic district of Florence just over the river, it was only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Florence, so close enough to all the major attractions yet possibly a bit quieter. Plenty to explore over this side of the rive as well. Adelaide was very welcoming and helpful. We’d stay there again. All was great. One suggestion - it would have been helpful to have some basics in the kitchen for cooking - a chopping board, some oil and a few essential herbs. Without these things, cooking was not practical.
