• Anna (6/5): Fin base for Hanoi - Værten var venlig og nem at komme i kontakt med. Hun var venlig at arrangere ekstra rengøring da vi ikke følte at gulvene var blevet vasket så grundigt da vi ankom. Sengen var stor og komfortabel og der var god plads til at pakke bagage ud. Det var nemt at gå til mange gader i den gamle bydel. Det var lidt sjovt at man skulle gå ud på gangen for at komme ud på toilettet. Overnatningsstedet virkede en smule slidt
• Marie (10/5): - Tolle Unterkunft in sehr zentraler und doch erstaunlich ruhiger Lage! Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet, hatte alles was man braucht und war dabei sehr sauber. Man kann die Altstadt und Sehenswürdigkeiten super zu Fuß erreichen und es gibt viele nette Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe. Außerdem waren die Gastgeber super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Große Empfehlung, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
• Rebecca (10/5): A perfect stay at the cosy Hanoi Hola House! - Alice and her husband were so welcoming and helpful throughout my stay - Alice sent me helpful instructions to find the property before I arrived and self check-in was easy and smooth. She also sent regular WhatsApp messages to check if everything was okay ☺️ The apartment was lovely, spacious and homely, with a comfortable bed and air conditioning. The location is perfect and feels very safe for a solo female traveller. There are lots of lovely cafes in the area and it was the perfect base for me to explore Hanoi! There’s also a rooftop terrace where you can do laundry.

• lola (8/5): - Great quiet location and comfortable bed. Perfect for a good value place to crash in between exploring the city We stayed on the 2nd floor so not a lot of natural light, the bathroom is seperate (but private) to the room. Photos are a little outdated but not a big deal
• Felix (8/5): Gemütliches Zimmer, Bad verbesserungswürdig - Die Unterkunft liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Straße, etwas verschachtelt. Das Zimmer ist groß, gemütlich eingerichtet, mit guter Ausstattung und einem bequemen Bett. Das Bad ist leider nicht im Zimmer, sondern gegenüber, im gleichen Stockwerk. Außerdem fehlen im Bad Ablagemöglichkeiten und Haken. In unserem Bad war die Duscharmatur halb von der Wand gerissen... Der Wasserdruck war sehr gering. Insgesamt war es nicht besonders sauber.

• greta (8/5): Buono per un breve soggiorno. - Camera molto spaziosa, letto comodo. Il bagno è fuori dalla camera, non era molto pulito abbiamo trovato insetti. 🪳 La camera è poco luminosa. L’inquilini del piano di sopra hanno fatto molto rumore in piena notte svegliandoci.

The room was a little bit dusty with dirty points . the bathroom had some used toiletries from previous customers.
• Lars (5/5): Passable - The location is quite good. It was almost impossible to find and don’t put Hola House in on google Maps - it’s the wrong address! The heater didn’t work so the room was quite cold. Kitchen downstairs was dirty, especially on the top of the fridge. The water cooker in the room didn’t look very clean and the one in the kitchen was missing the top part. Water pressure in the shower is terrible, almost impossible to take a shower. Noise from Construction and music near by in the morning hours and the windows can’t close given they are very old! Don’t understand why this place is rated so high.

There was nothing in the bathroom ( even a hand soup). Keep in mind that the bathroom is across the hallway where other guests are passing by ( might cause awkward situations 😊)
• Melanie (9/5): Superb - Location is amazing. Close to a lot of restaurants, cafes, and shops. The room was big and well decorated. Host was very responsive and helpful. The bed in one of the rooms we rented was actually just 2 single beds side by side with sheets holding them together.

• Simon (10/5): Perfect value for money in the heart of Hanoi. - The house is located only a few minutes walking from the busy and interesting streets of the old quarter. Still, it’s a very quiet location and we slept perfectly. Also the room was clean, AC working well and the bed is very comfortable. Own Bathroom was clean as well and hot water working well. We’d definitely come back! The owner will help you with any kind of questions and always answered very fast.
• Ciaran (10/5): Great quiet apartment - The location was fantastic. Down a side alley so not noisy at all. We could park our motorbike safely but we were a close walk to major sights and the city centre. Facilities were as good or better than other homestay / apartments, like kitchen, big bedroom, kettle, fridge. The bathroom was not attached to the room, and just across a short hallway. Not a big deal.

• Gene (3/5): Poor - The room I paid for CLEARLY stated (2 times) that there were two beds. There were not. When entered the room and contacted the host about it... she basically just said they did not have rooms with two beds,,,, they could bring a mattress to put on the floor. I would not have booked the room to begin with had it been truthful and said there were only a single bed. (next day the booking page had been changed).... I would normally assume it was a mistake however "two beds" was not only stated twice on my room's booking page, but it also appeared on other rooms as well. Make of it what you will.
• Lfc (5/5): Passable - Bed was comfortable albeit low down. TV in room and worked well with my streaming device over their wifi. Large room with a seating area and colourful wall art. I stayed solo but plenty room for 2 or maybe 3 if someone wanted to sleep on the sofa. Located in a quiet area and not far to walk to Train Street. Host was responsive to messages. Property difficult to find. Once you find the road then have to navigate through a few passageways to find the house. Was not able to check in till 3pm room was not ready had to wait for someone to come and clean the room from previous guest. Bathroom is separate from the bedroom. You have to exit the room and go across the stairwell. I did not find this convenient. In addition the bathroom has no ventilation and had a lot of mosquitoes I had to exterminate many. No mini fridge in the room, had to keep in the downstairs kitchen. Could hear noise from the guests in the room above and also the neighbouring properties. Had to check out by 11.30am which considering I had to wait to check in I wasn't pleased with have liked some flexibility to take my time and check out a little later.

• Emily (10/5): great location, clean, comfortable and communicative host - easy self-check in process, room exactly as pictured and described. everything was clean and comfortable and the host was very communicative the weather in Hanoi during our stay was extremely hot so the aircon didn’t feel as effective as we hoped but that is the only complaint - we understand this is not a fault of the accommodation but just something to bear in mind if the weather is extreme
• Louise (6/5): Pleasant - Big and clean room, good air conditioning, fast Internet Bathroom was damp and a bit smelly, no bins in the room and neither the bathroom nor communal Bins were emptied in our 4 day stay. The front door locked by padlock and chain which we didn't think was safe in the event of an emergency if we needed to leave the building quickly.
• Adam (8/5): it was a pleasure to stay here, host was super responsive and the room was very clean. located on the verge of old quart - location, neighborhood, private bathroom, interior, quiet, clean, fast Wi-Fi, spacious, bed, AC, amazing host room and the whole building was a little bit too humid, close to being moldy, even with the AC set to dry. it was still ok but it could use better ventilation, especially the bathroom which took a while to dry.
