• KingColde (10/5): Fantastic apartment. Awesome host! - We had a wonderful stay at Galery Home and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. The apartment itself was superb — clean, comfortable, cool and very well located. It is close to everything central, just a very short walk from the station, and situated in a great part of town, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. Francesco was an exceptional host. He was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, offering excellent recommendations and advice that really enhanced our trip. He even very kindly gave us a lift to the airport at the end of our stay, which was hugely appreciated. Overall, we had an amazing time and would not hesitate to book again when we are next back in Rome. Thank you, Francesco, for such a fantastic stay. Nothing, it was a really awesome home in a great part of town.
• Pritt (9/5): - Good size rooms. The host meet us and showed us around the apartment. He also sent restaurant recommendations. Very helpful, very professional. Good location near restaurants and cafes. About 10 min walk to Rome main train station. 15 min walk to Colosseum.

• Eimear (9/5): Excellent location for all the sights! - The host had given us a HEAP of recommendations for tours & eateries which was very appreciated & showed us on the map the best ways to get to places, he was very helpful. The place itself is in the best location, so easy to get to all of the sites & walking around the city & can get to the metro easily also. The location of this place is so great & also, great to have an Irish pub right across the road :) The only thing I would say is that the bathroom smells a little of damp, easily sorted by a few of those moisture absorbent packs you can get so not at all a big deal. The bedrooms are lovely, clean & comfortable & again, the location of this place is incredible for all the sights to get to around Rome & so helpful they have a washing machine you can use onsite also.

• Hilary (8/5): Great place. Stayed there twice now so happy with it. - The position is very central for all the sights. The property has everything you need. It is very well equipped. If you need anything else or need help working anything the proprietor is always helpful at the end of the phone or will come over to assist. I think that for the cost of the property I cannot fault it.

• Helene (10/5): - The location was perfect and central to all attractions, food and trqnsport. The unit was small, but clean and.comfortable for our family of five. Francesco and Bruno were accomodating and attentive - they even provided us with a Christmas treat to help us celebrate our time abroad. Great value for money.

• Dörte (7/5): Hat nicht ganz unserer Erwartung entsprochen. - Unser Gastgeber hat uns kostenpflichtig am Flughafen abgeholt und zur Unterkunft gebracht. Francesco war sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Ankommen war damit sehr unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft war eine Kellerwohnung, was aus der Beschreibung auf Booking für mich nicht erkennbar war. Es gab einige Schwachpunkte: kein Tageslicht, Schimmel im Bad, kaputte Duschwanne, kaputte Kaffeemaschine. Ansonsten war der Zustand OK. Richtig wohlgefühlt haben wir uns trotz hilfsbereitem Vermieter dort nicht.
• Marion (6/5): Günstges Apartment mit viel Verbesserungspotenzial - - super Lage (in der Nähe vom Bahnhof, Metro, Kolloseum, Innenstadt,…) - freundliche & hilfsbereite Begrüßung - leider ist überall Schimmel an den Wänden - das Badezimmer sollte dringend renoviert werden - der Topper vom Couchbett hatte gelbe Flecken - generell ist die Couch nicht als Bett geeignet, die Wohnung sollte nur für 4 Personen vermietet werden - die Wohnung befindet sich im Tiefparterre, nebenan befindet sich ein Pub, somit ist es etwas laut in der Nacht. Mit Ohropax ging es aber.

• Margot (10/5): Prima! - Goede locatie, fantastische gastheer die ons geweldig heeft ontvangen, klein maar ruim genoeg voor 4 personen. Alles aanwezig qua faciliteiten: wasmachine, vaatwasser, airco. Door dat het appartement in de kelder is, is het sowieso koeler. 2 van de 4 hoofdkussens waren een tikkeltje te dik, maar dat is geen drama.

• Sergio Hugo (7/5): Prática e funcional - A acomodação é no Centro, perto de supermercados e comércios com tudo que precisamos. O Francesco é muito receptivo e simpático, deu todas as dicas e compensa contratar o traslado com ele. A casa tem todos os utensílios que precisamos e em bom funcionamento. O mercado Castoro ao lado atende e não é caro, e o restaurante que fica a 25 metros (Nipotino Del Solitário) tem um carbonara e tiramisu muito bom com um custo benefício ótimo. Metrô perto e Coliseu há 10 minutos. A casa tem bastante umidade e um cheiro muito forte, tivemos que deixar janelas e ar ligados para ajudar, senão ficava bem difícil de dormir. É um ponto que deixou a desejar. O vizinho do lado também tem uma alta frequência no apartamento entrando e saindo, com barulho o que pode incomodar. Mas no geral a acomodação atendeu os dias que ficamos.

• Stefanie (7/5): - We liked the location which was perfect, the staff was friendly and the apartment was very well furnished and equipped. The kitchen had lots of useful things and the beds were comfortable and towels clean and it was very quiet during the night. The bathroom was very smelly (damp) and the smell traveled through the whole apartment, which made the stay unpleasant. I could not return to the apartment because of the damp smell but if you are not bothered by some dampness then this apartment is great as it ticks a lot of boxes.

He is providing maps and tips about Rome . *The situation, close to Termini station and walking distance to city center. *pictures are accurate to what you get...BUT..check "i do not appreciate ". * This appartement is in a basement...which mean..you can NOT leave without light. You are under the main floor of the building. *In front of a pub. You might not be able to sleep as you want. Quite noisy. *The host is asking you to throw the trash (garbage) 5 min walking.. should be included with the price. *We have found few cockroach and it just F***up our stay. Francesco killed a big one when we arrived....we killed 2 other ones in the flat...and have seen few other ones.... Being aware of this basement situation. I won't have book this place.

• Andrea (10/5): Recommended - Lovely ground floor apartment, central location close to lots of sights and nice places to eat, good public transport. Apartment is well equipped with everything that you could possibly need for a short stay. Francesco was an exceptional host, very hands on, he made sure we were well looked after during our stay. Not a major problem but can be a bit noisy at times so if you are a light sleeper bring some earplugs and you are sorted

• Коваленко (1/5): Это были худшие апартаменты в моей жизни - Хорошее расположение 1. Когда мы заселялись, мы были удивлены, что спускаемся в подвальное помещение. Когда открыли дверь в апартаменты, сразу почувствовали ужасный запах плесени. 2. Апартаменты были грязные. Стены все были в плесени. Посудой на кухне боялись пользоваться, поэтому купили одноразовую. Было две спальни: в каждой спальне все стены были в плесени, на потолках штукатурка потрескалась, подоконники вздутые и в плохом состоянии. На фото при бронировании этого не было видно, даже наша камера не передаст на 100% всю атмосферу. Но самая ужасная была ванная комната: сток в умывальнике был забит и вода плохо сходила. В унитазе был плохой слив, что даже бумага не смывалась. Полотенца грязные, душевая кабинка в плесени, плохой запах. Наш отдых был испорчен, потому что было некомфортно спать в сырой кровати и жить с запахом плесени. Еще хозяин сказал вынести мусор в бак, который непонятно где находился. Может быть нам нужно было еще и убрать все апартаменты? Это уже наглость. Никому не рекомендуем. Если вы хотите испортить свой отдых в Риме - берите эти апартаменты!

• Debra (10/5): Def recommend Francesco's place in Rome! - Francesco was an amazing host! He met us at the apartment and went over all sorts info about what to see as well as ways to ensure we stay safe in Rome. He also sent us tips throughout our visit regarding best places to eat. Further, these were the comfiest beds ever! So nice and cozy! The kitchen was well supplied. Finally, the apartment was perfectly located for a walk to all the things we wanted to see. Seriously, not even 15 minutes to the coloseum! Def recommend this place. The bathroom needed some attention. The paint was peeling and there was mildew on the ceiling. The light fixtures needed cleaning. The shower floor was cracked and occasionally leaked. It was almost as if the rest of the apartment had been renovated perfectly, but the bathroom was an afterthought that they have plans to get to soon.
• Park (6/5): Nice location, friendly host, not the best apartment.. - The host was super attentative to our needs and offered lots of information prior to us even arriving in Rome. He had lots of suggestions, made sure to remind us to be wary of pickpockets on the subway. I had great interactions with the host. The location of the apartment was pretty good, close enough to the Termini and bus stops nearby. The apartment itself was a bit of a letdown. We definitely did not expect to be in a basement - it was very humid inside the rooms and there were air freshening sprays every room - presumably to disguise the smells that a humid basement room generally has. Also, there were a lot of earwigs, which are common to moist environments- we killed 3-5 a day...

Everything we needed was there and more. However it would’ve been nicer if it was mentioned somewhere that the apartment is actually in a basement. • James (10/5): Great location, Great Host. - Short walk from everywhere we needed to be. 10 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes from the colosseum. Francesco was a fantastic and helpful host showing us where everything was and giving us suggestions of where to go and places to eat. The kitchen was well stocked, the air con was great and the water pressure was good. There is also a really great little coffee bar 20 seconds down the road. There was construction work going on next door which was very loud. But that isn't anybody's fault it was just really loud one morning.

Francesco the host was very communicative and helpful and was always available to help in anyway he could. The bathroom was a little tired and could do with refurbishment. However it was very clean.
• laure (8/5): Parfait pour Visiter et dormir - Francesco nous a très bien accueilli et le Check in c’est très bien passé en avance car notre vol était tôt et nous a permis de déposer nos bagages avant l’heure prévu. Francesco est serviable et joignable à tout moment ce qui est très agréable. L’appartement est très bien situé par rapport aux monuments et aux transports en commun. Le logement est parfait pour visiter et y dormir Je n’avais pas regardé les commentaires et en effet l’appartement est en sous sol et sans fenêtre donc à déconseiller aux claustrophobes et aux asthmatiques. L’appartement est situé en face d’un bar et donc bruyant.

No me gustó la comodidad de los colchones de las habitaciones, y el sofá, para que alguien duerma, es terrible, malisimo. Hay un poco de olor a humedad tambien. Si alguien duerme en el sofá, que sepan que es una calle muy concurrida, y complica el descanso. Tampoco me gustó tener que pagar los impuestos en efectivo y que te den un papel a modo de"factura".

• Susan (10/5): Wonderful stay in Rome - We really enjoyed our stay. Monti House is in a great location. We were able to walk from the train station in 10 minutes and restaurants and bars are on the same street. Many shops including a good supermarket are on the main road by Piazza di Santa Maria Maggiore. The apartment is clean and comfortable and Francesco was an excellent host. Although the apartment is in the centre of the City (we could walk to the Colosseum in 15 minutes) the bedrooms are located at the back and are very quiet. There was nothing we didn't like.

• Talbus (1/5): FUYEZ A MOINS QUE VOUS NE SOYEZ PAS DÉRANGÉ DE PASSER VOS VACANCES DANS UNE CAVE - L'emplacement qui rend les visites assez accessibles. La malhonnêteté du propriétaire qui a changé l'annonce après notre plainte auprès de Booking car l'appartement se situe en SOUS-SOL (ce qui n'était pas mentionné lors de la réservation). Pas d'aération, pas de lumière, beaucoup de bruit, odeur de cigarette provenant du voisin et de la rue. Mauvaise odeur dans la salle de bain et la cuisine camouflée par des désodorisants automatiques et impossible d' aérer. Le canapé lit convient pour une personne de moins de 1m70. Le ballon d'eau chaude suffit pour 2 personnes ensuite il faut attendre . Après difficiles négociations de Booking avec le propriétaire nous avons pu annuler et être remboursés. Cependant j' attends le remboursement de la taxe de séjour pour les deux nuits annulées (mon numéro a été bloqué par la personne qui s'occupe d'accueillir les voyageurs après qu'il m'ait dit qu'il ne rembourserait pas).

Francesco is amazing, and he could not do any more to make your stay a fabulous one. From going out of his way to ensure everything was exceptional, giving advise and tips on what to see, where was great to eat and just generally checking in via text to see if you needed anything etc. really made our first time in Rome a dream holiday. • Jens (8/5): für einen Sightseeing trip in Rom gut geeignet - gute Lage ( Nähe zum Colosseum), Francesco ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt sehr gute Tips und Ratschläge für den Aufenthalt. wenn man viel unternimmt eine gute Unterkunft. Technische Ausstattung könnte etwas besser gewartet sein (Steckdosen), Tisch und Stühle in der Küche/ Aufenthaltsraum sind nicht sehr bequem und einladend.

We really appreciate the time and effort Mr Francesco put in to the house to make it a safe, warm and relaxing place. The house is well maintained with all the amenities. There's nothing negative to say about it. We would recommend it to anyone travelling to Rome and looking forward to our next vacation in Rome, in the same house.

Muy cerca de la estación de trenes Roma Termini y de las principales atracciones de Roma. El espacio era muy amplio para una ubicación tan central. El host fue muy amable y atento, no sólo se preocupó del alojamiento si no también recomendaciones de dónde comer e ir. Definitivamente volvería.

Als ich meinen Pass für den Eintritt am Kolosseum vergessen hatte, hat er mir innerhalb von ein paar Minuten ein Bild davon geschickt, so dass es kein Problem mehr war. Ich war begeistert von seiner Hilfsbereitschaft. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber sehr sauber, liegt zentral und hat ein super Preis-leistungs-Verhältnis. Perfekt für einen Städte Trip! Wir können es nur empfehlen! Alles war super !

• Roberto (10/5): Excellent centrally located property. Impeccably managed - The place is very, very large and perfectly appointed for such a central location in Rome. Francesco is an exceptionally attentive host. He keeps monitoring and improving the property to ensure his guests are always comfortable and well looked after. He was also very kind and generous in dealing with a little accident we had in the kitchen. I could not fault the accommodation not the service we have received. Cannot think of anything at all

Nelle immediate vicinanze di supermercati, tabacchino e molti ristoranti. Infine ottima accoglienza da parte di Francesco, molto disponibile nelle richieste fatte. Consigliato per brevi soggiorni a Roma.

• Garnier (5/5): Rome est une capitale à visiter, il y a plein de choses intéressantes à voir ! - L’emplacement est vraiment top. On est situé en plein centre-ville de Rome. 1h du Vatican et de la basilique à pied, 30 min de la fontaine de Trévi et du Pantheon à pied et 15 min pour le Colisée. On est proche de tout. L’établissement ne ressemblait pas aux photos. L’appartement est sombre et il n’y a pas d’extérieur. Les prises ne sont pas conformes (quand on a branché le sèche cheveux il y a eu des étincelles…). Le propriétaire nous a demandé 54€ supplémentaires à la fin de notre séjour « taxe de séjour » qui est de 6€/personne et /jour. Il nous a demandé de laisser l’espèce sur la table alors qu’on a réglé le séjour sur booking.. étrange. De plus l’appartement n’est pas très bien isolé, on entend tout de dehors notamment le voisin…

• Daniel948 (10/5): - Personale gentile e disponibile. Appartamento appena rimodernizzato. Posizione perfetta, a pochi minuti dalla Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore e dal Colosseo. Appartamento dotato di ogni confort, pulito e molto spazioso. Ci tornerò sicuramente!!
