Guest Reviews
- Jan (7/5): -
- John (5/5): First room smelt like excrement asked for another room and had to pay an extra $10. What a joke. - Wanted an extra $10 for each for breakfast and yet the advertising signs on front of building said free breakfast. You be the judge. Would like to of seen staff instead of having to ring. The whole place was automatous. Considering our phones were needing a charge we weren't sure we would be able to get our key for the room.
- Joanne (5/5): Meh. - Hot shower.
Looked clean.
Handy location to continue driving to Wilcannia the next day. Felt overpriced in comparison to other regional motels. Very small, cramped room not enough room to swing a dead cat. No soundproofing - flight path overhead with Dubbo regional airport 5km away, every sound of the gravel carpark & people talking outside very intrusive (even with earplugs).
No basic guest information (e.g. wifi details, places to eat dine-in or order-in). Very noisy fridge right next to the bed, (had to unplug it to retain some sanity).
- Leigh (8/5): Reasonable to good. The manager’s helpful attitude redeemed it. - The manager was very helpful when I an ‘incident’ occurred with other people staying there. I really appreciated him stepping in. Tradies who were staying in the motel at the time made it very uncomfortable to stay there.
- Tanya (6/5): -
- Matt (7/5): -
- Maxwell (3/5): Friendly staff. But extremely dated and not up to standard. - The staff were friendly, bed was comfortable. Extremely dated.
Room 20 - single bed- was tucked away down the side. Aircon was shoved in the window - didn’t have a heat function and was right next to the bed- so couldn’t sleep. Sealed at the bottom by tissue paper. Bathroom was subpar at best and not at all up to standard. The shower was nothing short of horrendous. The tap fell off in my hand. Once I fixed that- the water flow (was hot) but was nothing more than a fast dribble. Tiles looked like something out of a horror story. Sealed with silicone in far too many places.
I don’t expect much as far as motel rooms are concerned- but a good night sleep and a hot shower are basics.
- Hugh (7/5): -
- Liezel (6/5): Good for a short overnight stay - Good location Room has no cutlery or plates and small and noisy at night
- Lacey (8/5): -
- Lynne (8/5): -
- Angela (8/5): - Clean and comfortable A bit noisy
- Sharon (6/5): -
- Hamson (6/5): - The location was good. Being able to park in any site was a nice option.
Beds were comfortable. The floors creaked and shower leaked.
Only one extra blanket and torn. A few extra pillows would be good.
- Stacey (7/5): Comfortable enough - Room was ok and bed was comfortable. Little bit of road noise. No
- Tracy (10/5): Comfortable and good value for money - The comfort, cleanliness and quiet room and grounds. The staff were very helpful and being able to eat breakfast for free was lovely Nothing I didn’t like
- Nikki (8/5): Good value for money. - Very clean and excellent value for money. I wasn’t able to contact reception to get a code for the internet and didn’t have reception available to me so I couldn’t answer my work emails.
- Graham (10/5): - Overall cleanliness and location, bed very comfortable good parking. Took over 40mins to find out information to obtain keys for late check in, even thou room was pre booked.
- Sharon (7/5): Good, cheap, would stay again. - The place was Easy to find and access. Room was clean and comfortable beds.
The shower had amazing pressure and really hot water. The blinds across the window wasn’t great and there was a really bright security light outside, so at night, it was difficult getting the kids to sleep because there was so much light coming in the window.
Wooden floor was also very creaky.
- sabzz (8/5): Nice and affordable - The cleanliness, location, spaciousness of the property, and bedding comfort are all highly satisfactory. Nothing to complain
- Tim (6/5): -
- Vyas (8/5): - Pool
- Frank (8/5): - Closeness to the zoo needed a bit more love and attention but was comfortable enough Kitchen implements could have been better.. Traffic noise made it difficult to sleep.
- ian (7/5): -
- CHRIS (8/5): Great for value - Was very clean and close to good food ammenities (pub across the road) Not a lot apart from a little outdated
- Vanessa (3/5): -
- Andrew (6/5): -
- Colin (7/5): Good Vaue - The most price Needs some repair
- Laurence (9/5): -
- Rodney (8/5): - Comfortable No food or drinks

- Herminia (8/5): -
- Edward (10/5): -
- Tim (6/5): -
- Steve (8/5): Close to restaurants, walking tracks, take away. - Motel was fully booked so got a smaller room, last minute booking, clean room, close to restaurants, bars, walking tracks Very small room but last minute booking, have stayed here before in the larger rooms and very good size rooms available with large bathrooms and comfy beds.
- Sheather (5/5): - Road noise and noisy fridge
- Rory (10/5): -
- Bron (10/5): More people should stay here - The double glazing which cut the traffic noise, and the adjustable bed. So good. Electronic keypads also mean no chance of losing the key. The information book needs updating to reflect there are no room keys, and that you don't need to request a towel for the pool.
- Brett (8/5): Country work trip - Comfortable No bottles of water in room of fridge
- Tony (8/5): Great stay for work - Location Nothing that comes to mind apart from outside bins need emptying more regularly
- Arron (6/5): Nice -
- Nicholas (7/5): Clean and cool in the middle of summer. Great location. Walk to food options. - Clean and cool Continental Breakfast was cornflakes and toast.
- Sandra (8/5): - Liked the cleanliness and service received Bit tricky to get in and out off
- AnAussieAbroad (10/5): Friendly staff, great location, and excellent service, especially going above and beyond re iPad 😊 - The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the free continental breakfast was a great bonus with cereals, toast, fruit, muffins, plus tea and coffee.
The pool area was lovely with a shaded patio and nearby shower, and the location was very convenient, close to shops, a BP petrol station, and places to eat or have a drink.
The staff also went above and beyond by organising my iPad to be posted back after I realised I’d left it behind once I was already 250 km away The only minor downside was the air conditioning facing towards the door, so it didn’t quite reach the far end of the room.
That said, it was 46° that day, and it still managed to cool the room down enough to be comfortable
- Peta (5/5): - Close to shops Not clean
- Sally (10/5): Perfect for a road trip -
- Sally (10/5): Great spot to overnight - Great spot to overnight
Ample parking
Hot showers
Close to a tavern for dinner Nothing. It was value for money
- Cathie (5/5): - We arrived on christmas day so did not see any staff, but prior communication regarding key safe was clear and polite. Booking said breakfast was included in the price. We saw no breakfast.
- Vic (7/5): -
- Shawn (9/5): -
- Sharon (8/5): -
- Jahliah (10/5): Best sleep ever - From reception to the night stay to the continental breakfast was 10 out of 10 I would stay here again, so quiet and peaceful My stay wasn't long enough
- Cassie (7/5): -
- Sharon (8/5): -
- Lauren (5/5): - Staff were friendly Our room wasn't made up with used towels and sheets. We arrived llate after a big day travelling so disappointing to find
- Bony (1/5): - Lack of clean, dusty rooms and room upto the mark.
- Ashley (7/5): - TVs need to be updated to smart TVs. Fan switches need attention only works on Flat out.
- sudil (5/5): -
- Gary (9/5): - Easy access. Handy location. Decent sized room Na
- Eileen (9/5): Very pleasing thankyiu - Breakfast was good and easy to select what you wonted

- David (7/5): -
- Administrator (10/5): Catered to the people and considerate - Service
- Breiana (9/5): It was great - The staff were lovely and it had everything we needed. Nothing that I can think of
- Rebecca (8/5): -
- Elena (7/5): - Warm and comfortable room. Good complimentary breakfast Smell in the fridge
- Renee (7/5): - Free breakfast, location and staff Cleanliness of shower
- Dylan (4/5): There are cleaner, better equipped motels in Dubbo for the same price. Look elsewhere - I have stayed at the property previously in a ground floor room and found it clean and well appointed, however this stay I was given a second floor room.
The room was old, outdated and not clean. The air conditioner did very little to cool the room, after being set to 17 degrees and left on for 3 hours while I went to dinner and for a swim with the cockroaches in the motel pool, I still could not sleep in the room because it was too hot.
The bathroom is old and looked like it hadn't had a good clean in years, especially in the corners of the floor.
- Virginia (7/5): -
- Maree (10/5): Dubbo stop over - Clean and amenities where great.. just off the hwy and across the road from a pub with great meals.
The price include continental breakfast which was a great start to our long drive.. Nothing..
- Carol (10/5): Lovely motor inn - After the experience with the previous booking in Dubbo which has been reported to Booking. Com waiting on response
We did another booking for this motor inn. They kindly waited for us to arrive and were very nice to me as they realised I was upset.
Really enjoyed the free continental breakfast, dining room set out ready for guests to help themselves. Bonus Nothing
- Daryl (10/5): Great - Basic motel, but spotlessly clean, free breaky. Great staff.
- Newman (8/5): -
- Eddie (10/5): -
- Ange & Brett (10/5): - The Bed was so comfortable. The location was spot on. There was nothing to dislike
- Katie (5/5): -
- David (8/5): -
- Gloria (8/5): - Location Shower door
- Steve (10/5): large room, comfy beds, good shower, closer to restaurants, easy to find, good parking - large room, comfy beds, good shower, closer to restaurants, easy to find, good parking
- Julie (10/5): - Location.
- Jade (10/5): -
- Grant (6/5): Disappointed. Didn’t sleep for the 2 nights. - Pool, closeness to town. Location on main thoroughfare. B-double and triples up and down all night. Sets of lights directly out side. Air conditioning was faulty, room lit up like a Christmas tree as blinds did not block light, external light of complex did not turn off until after 11pm. The noise was horrendous from the street below. The room needs windows that negate the noise.
- Shivahari (1/5): -
- Eddie (8/5): -
- Sabrina (3/5): I will not stay here again - Well located Small room (no much Space)
No bread or croissants left in the morning at 8am!
Dirty pool
- Nghi (7/5): -
- Mohammad (8/5): -
- Kerry (8/5): - Good location. Good continental breakfast. Bathroom is quite small. Pool was a little dirty. The air conditioner is noisy. I had to ask the girl on breakfast duty twice to restock the milk, juice and bread.
- Sara (3/5): -
- Craig (8/5): relaxing after a long drive - very good motel for an over night stay, close to dining and fuel
good to have a continental breakfast in the morning.
- Damian (9/5): -
- Damian (9/5): -
- Gillian (9/5): Great stay. - Only stayed one night as just passing through.
Easy check in, room was very clean and comfortable. Allocated parking right outside the room was great.
Location was so convenient to number of eateries for dinner.
Self serve breakfast was good for a quick meal before heading off.
Would stay there again if in Dubbo.
- Linda (8/5): Value for money - Ok but didn’t realise breakfast was in separate area to room so missed out first day All good -basic but comfortable
- Graeme (9/5): Great - Room was clean well maintained and quiet
- Stacey (10/5): -
- Nancy (5/5): Walking distance to the pub with great food - I could walk across the road to the pub for dinner each night. I was working from the room when housekeeping came to make up the room.
The bed was made and the bin liner changed - that's it nothing else was touched!
No bathroom check or fresh towels
The male housekeeper told me he sold the property and today was settlement - so i can understand why he did not care less BUT on the 37-degree day I left the A/C on 23 to keep the room comfortable when I returned later that someone had turned off the A/C - THIS IS NOT APPROPRIATE!
- Amanda (6/5): Clean & Tidy, great for 1 night. Nice breakfast. - Clean & Tidy Couldn't turn right.
- Dawn (8/5): - Clean, comfortable and easy to find and good simple breakfast Nothing
