- Lee (1/5): Avoid at all costs - Where do I start, I would not normally leave such a negative review but this place is absolutely terrible and I urge any reader not to book. Firstly there was no WiFi (as advertised) and although a router was eventually provided the owner was very rude about the situation. There is no hot water in the shower and even after contacting the owner to notify them nothing was done for our entire stay. The front door does not lock, it only goes on the latch which is a security concern so we could not leave valuables in the room. The keyhole is faulty also making it difficult to get the key in. The room is basically a single walled garage, so very damp, lots of mold on the walls, I now have a chest infection which I suspect stemmed from here (obviously cannot prove that though) There are no curtains and even though the glass is frosted, people can see in to the bathroom (we tested it) and in the main room and automatic light outside the property kept going on and off all night waking us up. There are none of the tiny essentials provided, cups, glasses, cutlery and kettle. We had to go and buy some paper cups etc. (not the kettle). Reading back on previous reviews of this property it seems people have suffered similar problems as us way back in the year but nothing has been done to rectify the situation. I certainly will not overlook the reviews again! I have made an official complaint to booking.com.
