• escko (5/5): - The bed, which wasnt a bed it was a sofa, the bathroom was bad also, waters everywhere if you open the sink, and also the bathroom should be fully closed.
• Raúl (6/5): Good but could be improved - The apartment's location is great, close to the main attractions. First of all, the address posted in booking was not correct. Second, we did not receive the instructions and codes to access the apartment; we had to request the information several times which we got in bits. Although in a good location it could improve the furniture (bed is a sofa) as well as the bathroom quality.

• Sarah (5/5): Gorgeous views, mediocre stay - Overall, our stay was fine but GORGEOUS view from the roof (once you figure out how to get up there). Check-in was not straightforward. The address on my booking confirmation was incorrect (but thankfully, not far away). There were no instructions provided for check-in. When I called, the host sent details for getting the key. However, the stay was still not smooth. There were no instructions in the unit, I had to contact the host for the wifi password (inconvenient if you do not have cellphone service), and to figure out how to turn on the hot water, which you had to do 20 minutes before each time you wanted to use it. There were also no instructions for accessing the rooftop terrace, though the keys were provided. Bed was comfy enough, but it tilts like a see-saw when someone sits on the head versus the foot of the bed.

It is ok if you only plan to use the apartment for sleeping Communication was poor : we waited for 20 minutes outside the building because the landlord said he would meet us but it’s only after texting on WhatsApp that we got the information about how to get inside the apartment. We also had to ask about the shared terrace that is on a different floor A few issues on the equipment : bed a bit broken

The owner does not respond to written requests to change the check-in time. The owner did not provide the opportunity to enter the apartment at a later time. The entrance to the residential area closes at 21.00.

• Martin (6/5): Pleasant - It was not so easy to find the place since the address (7 Περικλέους) indicated by booking.com wasn't correct. It was a few huindred meters from there, in Καραγιώργη Σερβίας 7. That was no problem - the löocation wasn't worse - but it would have been easier for both sides if the we had been sent the right addrress and the code with the excate place where to find the j´keys. So we had to call the owner so that he send us the required info per WhatsUp.

• Steven (1/5): NIGHTMARE HEALTH HAZARD - Close to center AC not working and host, Dimitris, refused to acknowledge problem. He sent a friend to check on the AC and friend agreed there was no cool from AC. However, host communicated to us that his friend verified AC unit working. We contacted his friend and he said he told Dimitri AC not working properly. It turns out AC was serviced prior to our arrival and Dimitris refused to acknowledge problem because he was going on vacation and did not want to be bothered. Hence his nasty attitude from day one. He offered us a tiny fan, but nothing else until he returned from his vacation 4 days later. After learning that Dimitris had no intention of addressing problem in a reasonable time frame, there was no option left, but to find another place. He initially offered to refund us for the remainder of the days via text message. The reservation was for 17 days. He originally offered us 11 days refund via text message, but then told booking he will refund only 7 days. Had he kept his word, we would not be writing this review. Dimitris failed to supply his guests with what they paid for and we should not pay for any days after we vacated the property under the conditions. Not having AC in Athens during the hottest summer on record is unacceptable. The extreme heat is dangerous to one's health especially for my elderly mother of 81 years. The most miserable experience from the most miserable host ever.
• Johanne (10/5): Great location, walking distance to historical site - We loved the location, walking distance to Acropolis and main area. Roof balcony with a view of Acropolis also. Owner super helpful and friendly Nothing really
• Reynoso (10/5): Location was excellent. Building access easy. Host helpful. - Dimitris was an excellent host. He was accessible and readily available to help out. The towels could have been a bit softer!
• Julián (3/5): Not recommended - The only good points I will give to this place are due to the location and price compared to other options, with a reservation very close to the date (probably if you look for accomodation with more anticipation you will find something better). Many things. To begin with, the general feel of the place is not nice. The floor material and lighting gives it an unconfortable feeling. Then, there were things that did not make sense from the point of view of basic care of guests, such as finding that the trash bin had trash from a previous guest (with an awful cigarette smell and even a used cotton swab next to the bin, see pictures), or that the shower has a bar for holding curtains but for some reason it has no curtains (whole bathroom gets wet when taking a shower). Some spots had not been cleaned. Also the bathroom has a big hole in the (improvised) roof. Another problem was that the host assumed we knew that for hot water we had to turn on a specific switch inside the electrical panel for 20 minutes. Of course we did not know about this beforehand, so we ended up having to shower with cold water the first time. Then, the electric kettle was not working and when we plugged it the lights went off. These may seem minor stuff but when you arrive tired from a trip, they add up to give a bad experience.

• Ioannis (4/5): Did not even meet minimal safety standards regarding exit from the building in case of emergency. - The location was perfect for visiting Athens city centre. The property is located in an office building that did not even meet minimal safety standards for residential use, regarding exit from the building in case of emergency. There is a locked building door during night hours and weekends and an additional electrically operated metal rolling door that can leave you trapped and unable to access the street or receive assistance in case of emergency. Additionally amenities were not properly installed, the property was not clean and baby cockroaches were present.
