Guest Reviews

- Racquel (10/5): - After a very long Camino walk and not having a restaurant nearby-Lucy made sure we will not starve for the night. Thanks for the evening snacks and breakfast .The property is beautiful and the staff is compassionate- staff is extra special

- David (10/5): A must stay place if you are in this area. Simply wonderful - It was an amazing property full of history. The staff were amazing and so friendly. Lucy was able to speak good English and went out of her way to make my stay enjoyable. Even got me ice for my damaged knee after a day on the Camino. Loved it here. Great breakfast as well I had lunch and ordered a steak which I have to say was really not good enough. It’s very tough but otherwise it was a fantastic place

- Bernadette (9/5): Para repetir, precioso.
- Aleh (10/5): -
- Gerardo (10/5): -

Creo q deberían conectarla a Internet.
- Jose (10/5): -
- Andreas (10/5): -
- Verónica (10/5): -
- Guadalupe (8/5): - Demasiados elementos decorativos.
- Herbert (10/5): -

- Gerald (10/5): Exceptional - We arrived at 11.30 and were able to check-in no problem. The pool was great and refreshing. Very relaxing and peaceful stop. Great cafe/restaurant about 12mins walk back towards A Laxe. Great menu del dia and lovely staff. All good.
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (10/5): Very beautiful Pazo - This is a fabulous place for an overnight stay on the Camino Invierno. The rooms, building and grounds are all beautiful and the swimming pool was opened for us to use. Great common areas. Good breakfast served in a lovely dining room. A great place for a splurge. The restaurant is not open at night during the week. There is a good restaurant open in evenings about 1 km east of the Pazo but this is not ideal for walkers.
- Bernie (10/5): A Big 10 out of 10 - Loved everything- what's not to like! Staff friendly and helpful. Many thanks to one of the household staff who did our laundry late on a Saturday afternoon. Reception- great. Restaurant-great.
Also loved the historical context of the property.
Thanks for a memorable stay Nothing
- Colin (8/5): Nice location, very nice historic and well maintained building with friendly staff. I will return!! - I was on a solo motorcycle trip through Galicia heading back to my home in Portugal. All the staff were very friendly. Lucy, who was on reception, spoke exceptional good English (American🤣) and was very helpful. The hotel is located off a main road, is beautiful and well maintained. Lots of parking space. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent. Food in restaurant v good. Breakfast was great and enough for 3!! There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. It was perfect for me doing a one night stopover
- Sergio (9/5): Quiete e relax - Location fantastica
- Gslevin59 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jdgp (10/5): Exceptional - Trato exquisito
- Sara (10/5): Absolutely perfect, luxurious, spectacular and more than affordable luxury! - Amazing property! So peaceful and serene! The staff was amazing to us as they made us a meal on arrival despite the restaurant being closed that day! It was wonderful - such a great stop on our Camino! The breakfast was also so private, beautiful and seemed like made just for us! The location, the history of that amazing building, the people! And the food!
- Eddiec1983 (9/5): Quiet authentic historical hotel with comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. - Quiet authentic historical hotel with comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. All good.
- Tanja (10/5): Great!! - Location
5 star facility Decor, location, host
Excellent restaurant
- Deirdre (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carina (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and peaceful
- Matthew (7/5): OK, But The Owners Could Do Better - The supermarket next door was very convenient.
The washing machine was a plus as was the large fridge.
The lighting was a nice touch! The flat screen TV was "old school" ( for the price this unit should have a smart TV). The interior needs some TLC (floors are chipped and in the bathroom they are rotten around the shower).
.
Last and perhaps most irritating, we had to wait past the check in time because the apartment was not yet clean.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (8/5): Very good - Beautiful place: very good lunch but no dinner available Very limited restaurant and bar hours. Everything closed and locked up at 7.30
- Loretta (7/5): Pleasant stay nice, small Pazo but lack of facilities - Cleanliness, friendly staff, quiet, good food Swimming pool is dirty, sauna not working, restaurant only open for lunch and weekend dinner. Only 1 very friendly staff took care of all the hotel guests also serving breakfast. Very busy man!
- Kevin (2/5): Beautiful hotel, but our short stay was severely spoilt by the noise from a children’s birthday party. Be mindful that t - The property was beautiful. The age of the building and refurbishment of the original structure was, clearly, very well done. This is a ‘venue’ hotel and caters for various family celebrations…weddings, christenings and birthdays. We stayed and experienced the noise and general taking over of the hotel by a pre-teen birthday party of about 12 children. It was NOT a pleasant and not expected when you are paying a considerable tariff for your room.
- Boaz (10/5): Camino overnight - Right on the Camino. Luxurious. I had a massage. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Staff friendly. Wifi was poor in the lobby and rooms. I got them to reset the wifi, and it was better.
The dinner was pleasant. I did not expect to pay extra EU2 for bread. Every other place we have stayed so far there was no charge for bread with the meal. A little thing. Annoyed me.
- Kathi (10/5): Very nice splurge for walking the Camino! - The property was beautiful & tranquil. The restaurant was excellent. Very luxurious! The WiFi was good in common areas but only minimal in the rooms.
- Robert (10/5): A ‘Must Stay’ place to treat yourself and relax along the Camino - An exceptional place! An old building, including a chapel, converted beautifully in a lovely rural setting. A jacuzzi tub to soothe the sore leg muscles. An excellent dinner and the best, biggest breakfast I have seen on the Camino. The staff was top notch, very helpful and friendly. nothing
