• Efrat (9/5): - Very comfortable unit on Elefantin island. Located in a very quiet and relaxing area. Everything inside was in good condition and the staff was super helpful and kind. Big thanks to Rawia. Highly recommend! Missing some utensils in the kitchen
• Beatrice (7/5): Das Guesthouse liegt relativ abseits auf der schönen Elephantineninsel neben einem Hotel, hinter nubischen Dörfern. Für - Das Frühstück, die Aussicht, die Nilnähe Der Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank waren nicht sehr sauber.

• Jess (8/5): Good stay! - This was a nice place to stay if you want your own space. The rooms were spacious, with a separate bedroom and living space. Wifi worked well. The breakfast was nice. We also got a welcome drink on arrival. Overall everything was good. Great view over the Nile.

• Brendan (10/5): Idyllic location with the perfect host! - Location is an absolute dream. The correct side of the island to enjoy a peaceful and idyllic stay. Framed by the Aga Khan mausoleum and the Tombs of the Nobles with Kitcheners botanical garden island providing your main view. The host is exceptional in both hospitality and in cooking a satisfying homemade dinner if requested. So glad I happened upon this gem of a spot. Will definitely return on my next trip to Aswan..
• Anthea (1/5): Disappointing - Host met us at arrival Construction noises all day. Pictures in the booking are misleading, there is no little beach and sand area with table and chairs. There is only a cemented rooftop in front of the balcony. We complained about construction noises happening all day and the host was not accommodating- she just replied with the fact that the accommodation is cheap. Fridge door is broken, lacking kitchen utensils, and shower head is broken.

• Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - I love this little house, right on the riverbank, with its balcony where you can spy pied kingfishers squabbling at sunset. It's super tranquil and perfect if you want to experience Elephantine. For practical matters: the Wifi is fast (very useful if you have to do some work during your stay) & the hot water is piping hot.

• Lucia (8/5): Nice house with amazing views to the Nile - It is a cute house in front of the Nile with a private balcony with beautiful views in the quiet Elephantine Island. The room and living room/kitchen has a good size and it was super clean. The host Raghda was very nice and helped us to arrange the pick up service from Aswan to the island, kindly prepared us breakfast to take away the days we woke up early to visit Abu Simbel and other sites and was always available on WhatsApp for anything we needed. The breakfast served at the terrace was very delicious too 😊 The bathroom shared the space for both shower and WC, which is not very comfortable.

• Reem (9/5): Superb - The place had an amazing view, on the calm and beautiful side of the Nile. Definitely a gem for those who prefer serene spots, and a sure recommendation for a place on elephantine island. The hostess was amazing, kind, fun, and generous. She made sure we're comfortable and she helped a lot with guiding us to plan our trips. The place is much quieter than most spots in Aswan and it's super safe, cozy, and clean. I felt home! Would book it again and again. There isn't a stove or facilities to prepare your own food, which would be a positive plus.
