Guest Reviews
- Anthony (8/5): - Internet is very unstable
- IBI SONG (8/5):
- Judit (6/5): Overpriced room but excellent staff - Aretha did her best when the roomkeeper threw our souvenirs by mistake. She really tried everything to get it back but she couldn’t.
Conveniences store in front of the hotel.
The room has fridge. Rooms are very small, there aren’t any closets to keep our clothes or to hang on dresses/jackets.
Overpriced.
There are buses nearby but metro is far from the hotel.

- Silvan (1/5): Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. - Convenient location. The mold was so much worse than even the other reviews made it sound. I stayed at cheaper hotels with better quality while in Taipei. Wi-fi password not posted anywhere, had to track down to a cleaning person to tell it to me. Roaches, of course.
- K (9/5): Cost effective hotel in an expensive city - I loved the fact they pre arranged a late night taxi to the airport for me at a reasonable 40us$ rate. This was done smoothly and professionally over booking.com chat.
The location is not exactly at the main historical center or transpiration hub, but It's quite convenient: 50m from a bus stop. And there is a direct bus to taioei 101 area. There's is a car park on property and scooter parking right next to. 7/11 is right opposite the road. A good inexpensive hair salon is also next door.
Easy to get in once you have a card
Considering some of the hostels in the city were asking 100us$ for a bunk bed, heaving a private room for 80 us$ was definitely great value for money.
Bed linings and bathroom clean and beds comfortable. My depot cards were rejected at the checking (they work no problem the whole week across while Taiwan, except this one hotel). As a result I had to go seek an ATM to withdraw cash at 8% commission which was annoying.
Please sort out your card machine so visas and union pay debit cards can work
Bits of dark spots on the wall papers. Not sure if the dirt or mould.
The room is generally small but you get what you pay for In the overpriced Taipei
- Viktoriya (6/5): Affordable stay but service could be better anyway - The location is pretty good When we checked in, later than stated in the rules the room was not prepared yet. The bathroom was flooded and there was a wet towel on the floor. Pretty nasty!!
- Saran (8/5): Very good - Great staff on arrival. The water in bathroom was draining too slow caused the flood.
- Rene (7/5): Good -
- Nick (5/5): Passable - The room was spacious enough for even big suitcases, the bed was comfy and Staff always tried to be helpful.
Even let me stay when my credit card declined due to an error. Shoddy Wifi, Low pressure water, and overall a very cheap feeling. Hotel wasnt even manned half the time. Shocked that they wanted 10k for 4 nights. Even on a 60% discount I thought I paid too much
- Jeanne (8/5): A budget-friendly and comfortable stay in a great location, but have small bathroom. - ✔ Great Location – Conveniently situated near shops and restaurants
✔ Affordable – Budget-friendly with decent amenities for the price. ✖ Small Bathroom – The bathroom felt cramped, which might be uncomfortable for some guests.
✖ Inconsistent Hot Water – Sometimes, the hot water didn’t work, which was a bit frustrating.
- Hill (7/5): Good -
- Yau (2/5): Horrible - The price No WiFi at all, staff are all very rule, no one assist about the WiFi issue basically, they are just like* there’s only one WiFi if it’s not working then nothing we can do about it*
- Xiuhua (7/5): Good -
- Huai (5/5): Passable -
- Worldonthefork (6/5): Pleasant - Daily change of towels. Warm water and good pressure. There were problems from the very beginning at check-in. There is no staff in the facility who can welcome you, but there is a machine where you can register and pay for your room. However, the description of the facility is a lie, because you cannot pay with a European card and you have to have cash. Internet - very poor speed, rather only for browsing the internet. There is no mechanical ventilation or heating in the room, so it was damp.
- Élson (5/5): New years Surprise - Has a bus stop and convenience store right across the street. Check in took almost 30 minutes since somehow the card reader wouldn't read 3 of my credit cards, had to end up withdrawing cash from the ATM mashine. Thank God convenience stores have it in Taiwan. Very small rooms, barely able to open luggage, toilet is not separated from shower, and showering gel was not stocked for two days. New years day, Jan 1st, there was a loud fire alarm that welcomed us to the new year, I thought it was an earthquake alarm since regular alarms do not have phrases in the middle of it. The alarms didn't have English, only Chinese. Most of the guests I saw that rushed out half dressed were foreigners, so not having English is a concern. The hotel is unstaffed 24/7 so even when we got out of the hotel there was no employee on site to guide us immediately. Taiwanese firefighter response times also surprised me since it took almost 20 minutes for them to arrive since the fire alarm broke out. The hotel doesn't have automatic door release system, so firefighters could only get in from the emergency doors or have staff open the front door everytime, which I found very odd. All went well, smoke detector went off because someone decided to smoke inside.
