Guest Reviews
- D Munday (9/5): Had a great stay and would rebook - The location is close to the train station and Alexandra Palace. There are local stores within walking distance and easy access.
Enjoyed sitting in the garden and it was very peaceful. Parking is restricted during the day between 12 and 2 pm
- Hannah (7/5): Perfectly fine stay, would recommend to those who just want a place to sleep - Good location, very clean, responsive host The shower is weak and the tv is basic - the apartment is lacking some finesse
- Anna paula (10/5): -
- D Munday (9/5): A quite and peaceful stay. Comfortable and well equipped - The location was ideal ,close to Alexandra Palace for the walks and for the shops.
Lovely outside space and a quite location.
The rooms were clean and well decorated and there was no shortage of equipment Only one small drawback was no wardrobe for hanging shirts although the was hanging hooks in the hall/lobby
- Hussam (10/5): -
- Deborah (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - Good location - local shops, cafes and not far to train station
We were upgraded to larger first floor flat which was very spacious and had excellent facilities
Comfy bed with nice clean bedding and two good pillows
Good hot shower - 2 bath and face towels provided
Could park for free all day at the weekend
Hope to return Small thing, and not a complaint, but no tea towel for drying up but found some paper towel
Plug in bathroom basin needs replacing
- Bethany (6/5): Good stay in the apartment 😊 - Great location for concerts at the Alexandra Palace! Spacious area and no more than a 10 minute walk to the closest underground station. The apartment was clean and tidy, it did the job for us 😊 Some things in the apartment could do with a little spruce up. The coffee machine was missing the main component in order to make it work, so it couldn't be used. The door handle to the bathroom could do with a tighten as it was nearly hanging off, and the toilet seat needs changing, not even on an aesthetic basis, but from a safety perspective. Check in didn't go well, but I do believe that is the fault of booking.com, however I would strongly recommend to attempt to reach out to the client to ensure they have received check in information before their arrival, as this could save a lot of headache in future.
- Emma (6/5): Clean, modern and lovely location - Excellent location and price, so clean and very quiet considering how noisy London can be. The apartment door lock stuck and I was locked inside the property for short while. Thankfully the neighbour helped me as the door could be unlocked from the outside and I could pass the key to her under the door. I wasn’t able to lock the flat overnight whilst I slept as I was afraid it would mean I got stuck inside again. I could lock the flat when I went out, just not when I was inside. The toilet seat and fly nets also desperately need replacing. Otherwise this flat is so lovely and the staff were helpful and apologetic about the lock. It couldn’t be helped and they assured me it was being fixed asap.
- Sandhya (8/5): Would highly recommend the stay here. - Location and facilities Shower had less pressure and didn’t know how to turn the heating on. Toilet seat was wobbly
- Louisa (8/5): Lovely stay and will book again when in London - Great location for Ally Pally and near the train station . Lovely area and parking outside was a bonus ( restricted Mon-Fri) Water pressure not great on shower
- Annalisa (9/5): Superb - Location for event at Alexandra Palace was amazing. Good links into Central London.
- Dawn (8/5): Very good - Proximity to Ally Pally and helpfulness of host
- John (7/5): Good -
- Barbara (4/5): If you want a stress free stay, or have no problems in communication, it's better to look some place else. - Location was good for my stay purpose. I only got instructions how to get in the very day I was on 15 hour travel to the UK from America. The owner of the property didn'reply to mu messages until I contacted booking.com due to lack of response. Then when I got there he had changed the key code, and I found out while I was standing out the door, unable to get in. Room was freezing , and when messaging the owner about the heating, No got NO REPLY. He only messaged when I had left to tell me that I had left the heat on, when I clearly wrote to say I had problems making it work. Getting in also took a good half hour trying to figure it how and the owner told me it was the first time somebody didn't understand such clear instructions, but if you read other reviews, you can clearly see I have not been the only one struggling.
- Fiona (9/5): Very convenient location for Alexandra Palace. Safe and secure for a lone traveler. - Having the outside space was a bonus. Kitchen was well equipped The shower didn't have great water pressure
- Walter (9/5): Well furnished apartment complete with bath and kitchen close to public transportation. - Great location near the train station and pub. Beautiful renovation, apartment looks great. Comfortable bed, USB charging ports were really helpful. Included private bath and kitchen. The slick tub is dangerous when wet. It needs some type of non slip surface in the bottom. The small fan was nice to have and useful but bearings are worn and noisy. The coffee maker lights came on and made noises but never made coffee. You should warn older people that there are many stairs to get from street level to the apartment level and there are no hand rails.
- Bethany (7/5): Good -
- Tommy (9/5): Superb - Great location for where we were working
- Berrino (9/5): Exceeded expectations - We were very happy with the place. It is a comfortable flat and in a nice area. The host was very responsive and explained everything very well. We had a car, and the host made sure to explain where we could and could not park. We were really happy with it. The garden, which is shared wth another flat and they had a bit of a mess there.
The plants in the back of the garden are also overgrown, and even tho the patio area could be used, it was not really set up to seat outside, there is no garden furniture. Not a big issue, as it is around the corner from Alexandra Palace gardens, but it would have been a nice place to sit outside and have some drinks.
- Donna (8/5): Very pleasant quiet location perfect fo Alexandra palace. - Everything we needed for a short stay. Access was complicated and we had to phone the owner a few times to get the door and key codes to initially get in.
- Malcolm (1/5): A Full Refund is Required - The address provided by the host was different to the actual address. I attended the actual address and was told that Cosy Apartments was not there and they could not help me. The address provided by the host was 306 Muswell Hill N22 7BD. I entered the post code into my satnav and it took me to Alexandra Park Road. I went to No.306 and pressed the door bell for No.1, a female, I believe she was foreign, told me that Cosy Apartments was not there and they could not help me. I returned to the footpath and called the mobile number provided by the host. I rang this number several times but it would not connect. I asked a passer by where Muswell Hill was, and was told it was up the road, past the garage. I used the interactive map on Booking.com, this took me to No.340 Alexandra Park Road, I rang the door bell but no one answered. I went to Muswell Hill, found No.306 and rang the door bell, no one answered but the property looked derelict. After 90 minutes of searching I went to an alternative property. I believe I did everything I could considering the circumstances and, therefore, request a full refund.
- Natasha (8/5): Comfortable, easy and enjoyable! Thank you! - Location was perfect for our stay, being so close to Alexandra Palace, the overground and Muswell hill area. The bathroom was cold but it was a very cold time of the year (-1 outside).
- Aneta (8/5): Clean and modern appartment but the step in a barthroom needs a fluorescent tape to avoid accidents. - The flat was clean and close to Alexandra Palace which was important for us. It was modern and nicely decorated. I like that there was a Dolce coffee machine and capsules as coffee is an important bit for us. The kitchen was well equipped. The internet speed was good as well allowing us to do a bit of work. We were disappointed on arrival that the host didn't send us a message with instructions on how to enter the flat. It was 8 pm and we were tired so it was quite frustrating not being able to get in. We tried ringing the host on the number provided in booking app but the number wasn't correct and so couldn't get through to anyone. Finally decided to ring the booking.com helpline and they managed to contact the host and give us the code for entering the flat.
The second thing we didn't like was the step when going to the bathroom. The lights in the bathroom were very bright so when going to the toilet in a night we didn't want to put the big light on so used our phone to light up the way and on different day both of us hit ourselves on the step (forgetting it's there) which as you can imagine caused tremendous pain. One of my toes was even bleeding. The step needs some sort of tape that glows in the dark to be more visible.
- Holly (9/5): Superb -
