- AuH (10/5): Next time in Rome we will book this location again!! - Christina is a very friendly and caring host, always easy to contact and helpful. The appartment is very nice, all pictures show it, as it is, and it is equiped with everything you might need down to little details. And it is very, very clean!

- TAM (10/5): The apartment is vey clean, neat and well-equipped. The host is incredibly nice and patient. - The host is very helpful and kind, she answers all our questions patiently. nothing
- Andreea (10/5): Great apartament! We loved our holiday in Rome - Very handy and close to bus station, 10 minutes walk to Coloseum Italian breakfast, poor with few yoghurts and jam, we considered not enough for 3 people, 4 nights
- Jurg (10/5): Will definitely book this appartment again for my next visit to Rome. - Great appartment, spacious and clean. Great location near metro and bus stops.
The host Cristina was very friendly and very helpfull!
- Ileana (10/5): Charming Roman stay - Wonderful apartment in an old building next to San Giovanni in Laterano. If you want to immerse in an authentic Roman lifestyle, this apartment is perfect. Cristina is a wonderful host, she responded to all our needs and queries. Spotlessly clean, very comfy beds, charming view of a Carmelite nunnery. Metro and bus stops very near, 15 min away from the Colosseum. Italian breakfast provided (coffe, pastry, milk, toast). All in all, it was the perfect home for us for more than a week!
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely great accommodation in a great location. Fully equipped, amazingly clean. The owner extremely helpful in providing information. At first it seemed a bit cold in the apartment (we stayed in February), the owner came immediately and solved everything. There was a small problem with the first opening of the door via the application, but then everything is fine. Ideal location for visiting all the sights.
- Tiago (9/5): Great Location -
- Piotr (10/5): We spend wonderfull time in this apartment. - Very good location and very helpfull host.
- Sharon (10/5): Great location, clean and comfortable, nearby public transport and a very welcoming host in Cristina - The location was excellent, close to public transport and also walking distance to some attractions. Many local restaurants amd supermarkets.
The apartment was clean, spacious and the beds very comfortable. Cristina is a very warm, welcoming host. We would definately stay here again. Sharon, Craig and Simone (Australia) We were happy with the accommodation 😊
- Erick (9/5): Superb -
- Lai (9/5): A place of serenity, relaxing stay - We all enjoyed so much the serenity, facing monastery, hearing birds' sing and church bells which made our stay relaxing. The house is spacious, tidy, well-facilitated, from cooking oil in kitchen to body cream in toilet to umbrella for going out. Cristina is a great host answering all our enquiries, letting us put in lugguages prior to check in time, accommodating to cater our need for vegan food for breakfast. All these made a good start for our trip in Italy.
- Mimimama (10/5): very nice place and great host that really wanted to please. - We had a few minor issues, and the host was a sweetheart and came over and took care of it immediately. Beautiful property. old fasioned elevator which was a kick. no dryer, but then no one has them.
- Melinda (8/5): RTW - Rome - The location of the apartment was good, close to transport and attractions. The apartment is nicely appointed with good sized rooms, a small bathroom and uses the Virkey app to open and close the doors on the mobile phone. Ensure you have an Italian phone network coverage. The host, Cristina was delightful. She took us through the apartment when we arrived and supplied a great range of breakfast goodies in the pantry. Thank you Cristina. Sometimes the Virkey did not respond due to the lack of phone signal in the apartment building.
- Ian (9/5): Would highly recommend, great value and extremely helpful host. - Spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Generously stocked with provisions. Roomy. Comfortable beds and furniture. Helpful and friendly host. Handy location for metro and access to sights. Nice view from bedrooms. Numerous restaurants and mini-markets nearby. A little noise from adjacent properties but not really a problem. Electronic door access tricky for older person in party. Street on which property is located a little scruffy but not a major issue.
- Dirk (10/5): If we will return to Rome, we will stay there again! - Perfect Location in a beautyful Building. Only 10 min to Colosseum. Next door to Basilika in Laterano. Very impressive Church. We enjoyed it very much to stay in Christina's appartment with tasteful interior. Even some Provisions für the first Day were in place. Thanks a rot!
- Jennifer (10/5): Cristina was excellent - very helpful and kind! We felt very safe and comfortable in beautiful Roma! - The casa del pittore was lovely! Very clean, had everything we needed. Location was convenient, close to the metro, and a few restaurants and bars.
- Ziva (10/5): Exceptional -
- Erica (7/5): Beautifully clean, quiet, comfortable apartment... after you have managed to get through the door. - Spacious, comfortable apartment on a quiet side street, very close to Manzoni metro station and a Carrefour supermarket. The access to this apartment is problematic, to say the least. No physical keys are provided to open the doors. You have to be able to open the 'vikey' website on your own mobile device in order to click a button on your screen to wirelessly open the building door and then, once you are inside the building, you have to do the same again upstairs to open the apartment door. The success of this depends on your phone working, internet access working and the vikey website working. We had various different problems with this on several occasions during our stay. The host was helpful each time this happened but we were dependent on her responding to our WhatsApp messages, and waiting outside the apartment for her to help us remotely before we could get in. This caused us unnecessary stress throughout what was supposed to be a week's holiday.
A much more minor point is that the kitchen could do with a bit more equipment for those who wish to self cater. A sharp kitchen knife would be helpful, as would a few shelves for storing food we had bought and maybe a few hooks to hang tea towels etc.
- Галина (10/5): Great apartment. Couldn't ask for anything better at this price. - Great apartment. Couldn't ask for anything better at this price. Everything is new, clean, tastefully furnished. All amenities are provided. The place is very communicative, the subway and buses are nearby, at the same time it is on a quiet street without noise.
The landlady is extremely responsive, she helped us in a very difficult situation for us. Thank you, Christina.
- Marja (9/5): Great place to stay! - It was a great appartment, nicely styled, with a blue and a pink bedroom. :-) Beds were good, everything was clean. Candies to be found everywhere. In the kitchen coffee, tea, milk and more was available. Cristina is a very nice person, who wants to help out. We could even leave our luggage in the apartement till end of the afternoon. Appartment is located close to the Colosseum, with nice coffee places and restaurants nearby. Metro station on 7 minutes distance. An absolute minor thing: we would have liked full length mirror
- Susiger (10/5): Wonderful stay - The apartment is well situated., walking distance to the colosseum and other famous historical attractions
Tip:
Two directions to take once leaving the apartment building if going to the colosseum. The easiest way is going left to the end of the street and left again the paths are easier and mostly wider, seeing the colosseum in the distance
The apartment itself is great. Basic needs are supplied everything you need at the beginning of your stay. Beds comfortable. Shower. Washing machine.
And so on. Great The door locking mechanism to the apartment itself is stiff more knack than strength needed.
- Nathaniel (10/5): Great property in a convenient location. Exceptional host, very attentive and responsive. -
- Ивалина (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location, amazing host!
- Andreas (10/5): Very nice appartment and host in an excellent location. - We enjoyed the appartment very much. The interior is amazing with old wooden furniture and ancient books (even an ancient Greek New Testmanent from 1904!). Right outside the window in the inner court is a beautiful little monastery where you can hear the birds and sometimes the nuns singing. The location is excellent for the price - the appartment is very close to the Lateran and you can reach many important areas (Termini, Colosseum, Forum and Palatine) in about 10-15 minutes. Besides the romantic interior (and exterior) you will find a modern and clean bath with a shower and a kitchen with a coffee machine. The host Cristina was amazing. She was very helpful and understanding throughout our stay and even provided several things for us: Coffee, milk, cereals, and even a surprise for our kid.
I highly recommend seeing the San Clemente al Laterano and the Domus Aurea, both within about 10 minutes walking distance. The only thing that I was really missing was a desk, in case you need to do some work, write something, organize something etc. Although you could use the kitchen table it is not ideally suited for these tasks.
