Guest Reviews
- Colin (8/5): Pleasant - Good and spacious, we were there for a work trip. Down stairs toilet blocked regularly.
- Pereira (8/5): Indeed a lovely and quite area close to everything, 10 - 15 minutes away from Hackney Central that gave us access to eve - I liked the fact that the house was very clean. WiFi was good, the kitchen had everything we needed and the host was very responsive and friendly Nothing to declare
- Kelly (3/5): Avoid - The location was good and it was very spacious. Where to start. This property could be fantastic if some money was spent on general repair. Lots of lightbulbs blown, curtains hanging off tracks, no blind at the skylight. Dirty smelly mop bucket left in the lounge. All the downstairs bedrooms smelt of cat wee. On top of that we have all come away with bites that a pharmacist has told us are bed bug bites. The owner was rude and I asked many times by text, phone and through the app about a parking permit but he did not reply and then switched his phone off. We left a day early as I was concerned my car would get towed.

- Sergio (8/5): Very good - I was greeted by a courteous host who, from the outset, treated me with consideration and empathy, going out of his/her way to ensure my stay was comfortable. Such consideration is always appreciated, particularly when travelling in unfamiliar territory.
Regarding the accommodation, I appreciated the provision of a small selection of grocery items upon arrival. This was a notable difference from my previous experiences.
The property boasts a magnificent view of the Thames River. I found the immersion into the London Docklands and its history particularly interesting. I was pleased to have found the spot from which the "adventurers" set out to establish themselves in Virginia, USA, where I reside. If I might make a suggestion, I believe there are two areas that could be improved.
As part of the cleaning efforts, it would be appreciated if you could also include cleaning the flat cookware. Many guests find it challenging to clean behind themselves. Likewise, it would be helpful if you were to consider adding dishwasher soap to the flat facilities.
Secondly, it might be helpful to provide better cookware and kitchen utensils. I believe this would be greatly appreciated by long-stay guests.
