• Gaston (1/5): - No lo recomiendo. Avisamos nuestro horario de llegada y no habia nadie. Luego de subir nuestro equipaje al cuarto nos dijeron que ese no era el nuestro que luego debíamos cambiarlo dos pisos mas abajo. Luego de estar dos dias en ese cuarto, el último dia nos hicieron cambiar a un edificio a 300 metros de donde estábamos y cuando llegamos ahí el conserje no tenía idea, sumado a que no tenían ningún cuarto libre hasta las 14 30hs. Tuvimos que dejar nuestro equipaje en la entrada de ese hotel y a la tarde recibimos otro mensaje qué debíamos volver al primer hotel pero a otro cuarto. Ante nuestra negativa, decidieron de manera UNILATERAL y SIN NUESTRA AUTORIZACIÓN tomaron nuestro equipaje y llevarlo al otro hotel.

• Auletta (1/5): Never again - It was super hard to find the place, no signage at the place either. Apparently they have a staffed reception 24/7. When I arrived at 8am there was nobody there but to make things worse, I got an email of them just then telling me that they cancel my booking as people in my room had decided to stay longer and I should look for other accommodation and can cancel my booking free of charge. I have never encountered a less professional service in my 63 years of life!!

• Katherine (9/5): Bueno. - Me gustó la ubicación. Super céntrico. Si estás sin carro mejor todavía porque no hay donde estacionar pero la verdad es que todo queda caminando. Estaba limpio, wifi funcionaba y el agua caliente funcionaba bien. En general me gustó todo. Es un edf pequeño y sin ascensor, por lo cual, es bueno tomarlo en cuenta para personas con movilidad reducida pero en general bien.

• Swantje (8/5): Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und super freundlicher Vermieter - Der Besitzer ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit! Im Zimmer im ersten Stock hat man einen Blick auf die Straße, aber v.a. auch in die Stadt und aufs Wasser. Direkt gegenüber des Apartments liegt ein Park, durch den man bis zur Galatabrücke laufen kann.

Super miejsce wypadowe na zwiedzanie. Bardzo blisko metro i autobusy oraz stosunkowo blisko na zwiedzanie pieszo. Zaraz obok jest sklep, piekarnia i kilka restauracji. Czysto. Bardzo miły i pomocny właściciel! Naprawdę kontakt był super i mogliśmy zostawić bagaże na ostatni dzień zwiedzania. Dość ruchliwa ulica więc jest dość głośno. Zaraz obok meczet więc słychać nawoływania na modlitwy ale to normalne.

The room possese all you need: a hairdryer, a teapot, a fridge, a microwave, air conditioner. What is more, the manager is very helpful!!! He kindly helped us to order food, so we didn't stay hungry late in the evening . 5 stars!

• Tatiana (10/5): - Оставалась на одну ночь. Владелец бесплатно повысил категорию номера на номер с террасой с видом на бухту Золотой рог. Отлично выспалась, несмотря на шум от дороги. Расположение немного вдали от основных достопримечательностей, но в 5 минутах ходьбы вход в метро, мост. И можно прогуляться до моста Галата вдоль набережной. В номере есть чайник, микроволновка, посуда и холодильник. Владелец был вежлив и внимателен. Это был один из самых дешёвых вариантов в этом районе и можно было забронировать без карты. Готовилась к худшему, но оказалась приятно удивлена. Вполне комфортно было бы остаться здесь на несколько дней. Рядом шумит дорога и утром разбудил призыв на молитву. Хотелось бы чуть больше внимания к уборке ванной комнаты.

I was traveling alone with my son and he helped me so much and I can’t express how grateful I am! recommend this place from the bottom of my heart!

The host was in touch from the moment our booking was confirmed and sent us detailed instructions with photos on how to find the hotel, which was very helpful. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to Galata Tower, with underground, ferries, trams and buses all nearby. The host gave us a lovely room on the fourth floor with an amazing panoramic view. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a fridge, microwave, kettle, plenty of dishes and lots of sockets. There is also a large table, which is very convenient if you need to work. The host kindly allowed us to stay in the room after check-out time, which was very much appreciated.

• Priyanka (9/5): Worth the money - I had a very good stay at Galatolia Hotel during my trip to Istanbul. The location is absolutely amazing honestly one of the best you could ask for. The hotel is very close to Galata Tower, very convenient for Taksim Square, and also well connected to the old city side, including the Grand Bazaar and Egyptian Bazaar. Basically, the hotel is right in the centre of everything, with excellent transport facilities, which made sightseeing very easy. The staff were extraordinary. One staff member (I believe his name was Tufan) was especially kind, humble, calm, and very down to earth. He checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of, which made a big difference to our stay. The room had all the necessary facilities mini fridge, microwave, tissues, and a clean washroom with hand wash and soap. We also received a free room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. Initially, we were assigned a first-floor room, but the staff upgraded us to a third-floor room with a balcony. The balcony view was stunning I could almost see all parts of Istanbul from there, which was definitely the highlight of the stay. The only downside was the cleanliness. If the room had been a bit cleaner, especially in certain areas, it would have been perfect. I would have easily given a 10/10 if cleanliness was slightly improved. Overall, it was a very good experience and definitely worth the money. I would recommend this hotel, especially for its location, staff, and value for money.
• Val_1987 (6/5): Is the amazing view enough? Probably not. - I booked this room for the view. It's really really great. The host was extremely friendly and tried to help in every way he could. The area, even it feels bit dangerous (the entrance is on a dark alley), it was very close to everything we wanted to see. It was dirty, like the room wasn't even cleaned. The sheets had blood stains and cigarette holes. The pillows were extremely big and high. The sound isolation is not existent, meaning that even if we were on the 5th floor, it was like the cars were driving next to our heads. 5th floor with no elevator. A renovation is really needed.

L’hôtel était bien/ moyen pour l’emplacement central, les transports et assez confortable (bouilloire et mini cuisine, lit, Clim, salle de bain correcte). Je pensais avoir une ambiance calme. Cependant l’extérieur est un peu bruyant ( juste en dessous il y’a la route principale).

As soon as you get off the Atatürk Bridge, on the right side I found a great parking lot, with security, next to a mosque. I paid about 1300 TL for 48 hours. Right across from the parking lot is the accommodation, in a building made up only of mini apartments like studios, with kitchenettes and all the comfort you need! The entrance to the building is via an intercom code, and the entrance to the apartment is also code-based. The owner is a very serious, educated and common-sense person. I have rarely met such a person in Turkey with whom I got along from the first time! The accommodation is a few steps from the Galata Tower and many food options (for all budgets), you also have local markets nearby. The icing on the cake is the view from the apartment window (enjoying a glass of...)😀 In conclusion, if you want a place where you feel comfortable, and close to the attractions, and especially that doesn't break your budget, this is the ideal place. The owner told me that he has special friends from Romania, and that says good things about him (because we Romanians are more picky 😇) Nil

Esta ubicado a unos minutos de la torre de galata, de la plaza Taksim. La cama muy cómoda. El encargado, súper atento y muy amable. Un lugar sin pretenciones, la verdad lo recomiendo ampliamente. Para tener en cuenta, si eres como yo que solo quiere un lugar para dormir, por que la pasamos todo el dia explorando la ciudad,este es tu sitio. Pero si quieres algo mas luxury, quizas no es lo que buscas. Pero por el precio que pagamos, no me puedo quejar en absolutamente nada.

Pillows are way too big for sleeping on. All windows don't have insect wire, and there were a lot of mosquitoes because of this. A/C also would not turn off. Hot water sometimes did not work.

• Mariana Chang (7/5): Recomendable, pero necesita mejorar - El anfitrión fue muy amable y me dejó elegir mi habitación. Elegí la del piso 5 con terraza, la vista es maravillosa y la habitación es muy cómoda. Tiene un microondas y hervidor de agua. Es un edificio con una habitación en cada piso, por lo que no se escucha ruido de gente. Regresé de un paseo y encontré que no había agua en el hotel, le escribí al anfitrión y dijo que había olvidado avisarme que no habría agua durante la noche (hasta el día siguiente), debido a unas reparaciones que estaban haciendo. Me envió 2 botellas de agua de 2 litros para poder asearme. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba del todo bien. Es un pena porque el hotel es pequeño, pero la ubicación y las vistas maravillosas, ojalá puedan resolver estos problemas porque no es posible alojarse en Estambul, durante el verano, sin agua o sin aire acondicionado.
• András (10/5): Pozitívumot tudok csak mondani. - Tömegközlekedéssel, de akár gyalog is elérhető az óváros. Gyermekem megbetegedett, segítettek a kórházba történő eljutásban. Transzfer megszervezése megfelelő volt. Ottlétünk alatt többször érdeklődtek. Összességében segítőkészek, vendégszerető személyzet. Légkondi és a wifi is megfelelő volt. Szobára jellemző a tisztaság. Az épület alatt egy kis bolt található, ahol minden beszerezhető. Forgalmas utcán található a szállás, ezért kissé zajos, de egy 13 milliós lakosú várostól nem vártunk mást.
