- Graham (8/5): A confortable base for exploring Newcastle. - Loved the location close to city centre, tram and the beach. The rooms are a bit austere and would benefit from some more artwork. The bathroom fan doesn’t stop operating for 30 mins after its turned off.

The apartment did not meet our expectations regarding cleanliness; the glassware, cutlery, and the exhaust fan above the cooktop. And bedding; the mattress was too soft and the pillows way too high and hard (we bought two (2) pillows at KMart to see us through.
- Janine (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at The Loft was perfect. The apartment itself was bright and spacious with thoughtful touches such as coffee pods, milk and washing powder. The apartment is on the top floor and has a lovely view of the cathedral, especially at night when it is lit up. Newcastle beach is close, we walked there for a swim and continued around the waterfront to walk along the harbour foreshore – so central! The parking is well lit and secure. Our favourite part though was the rooftop terrace, which was a lovely surprise. It’s literally just one step to the lift and up one floor. We had a glass of wine up there every evening watching the ships on the harbour and the spectacular weather coming in from the sea. Would definitely stay again. Nothing

Coffee machine and complimentary milk was appreciated. Minor details. Tea, Camomile and peppermint, provided but no English Breakfast. A throw rug on the couch would have been great as well.
