• weibliche Reisende (2/5): - Wenn man die absolute Ruhe will und kaum offene Restaurants / Geschäfte ist die Lage optimal. Ohne Auto sind die Verbindungen spärlich. Wir waren nach der langen Fahrt 1,5 Std. zu früh da. Durften nicht rein. Das Zimmer ist eine umgebaute Garage. Ich konnte mein Ferienzimmer nicht zur hin Vermieterin abschließen. Sie hat uns Frühstück für 30 SFr pro Person pro Tag angeboten, es war ausreichend und vielfältig. Leider war das Essen, was wir uns aufgehoben hatten aus dem Kühlschrank verschwunden. Die Vermieterin hatte es weggenommen. Es ist für mich wichtig, weil ich Diabetikerin bin. Ich empfand es als über griffig ohne zu fragen in das Zimmer zu kommen und Lebensmittel wegzunehmen. TV funktionierte erst am Abend vor der Abreise. Das Badezimmer war winzig, ebenso das Waschbecken. Das Foto vom Zimmer im Web ist nicht unsere Zimmer. Wir bekamen auf Anfrage einen elektrischen Heizofen, da es kalt war. Im Bad keine Wärmequelle.

• Laura (10/5): Geweldig verblijf met top host en perfecte locatie - We hebben een zeer prettig verblijf gehad bij Ferienzimmer Arth am See. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen door de host, die uitgebreid de tijd nam om ons alles te laten zien. Een warme en persoonlijke ontvangst die je niet vaak meer meemaakt. Het appartement was comfortabel, netjes en volledig uitgerust met onder andere een complete keuken. De ligging is fantastisch: er bevindt zich slechts een weg tussen het appartement en het meer, waardoor we op warme dagen binnen enkele minuten in het water konden zwemmen, ideaal! Hoewel er geen airconditioning is, was dit voor ons, zelfs tijdens warme dagen, geen enkel probleem. De locatie is bovendien uitstekend voor uitstapjes naar Luzern en ligt in de buurt van diverse populaire wandelroutes. Ook het dorp Arth zelf is rustig en aangenaam, met een supermarkt en enkele restaurants op loopafstand. Al met al een zeer geslaagd verblijf dat we zeker kunnen aanbevelen.

• Zofia (10/5): Exceptional - We enjoyed very much the localization of the apartment, just cross the road and you could swój in the beautiful lake. 200 m from the place you could start hiking. And the small part of the city has also very nice climate. The apartment had everything it needed. Highly recommend it!
• Heather (10/5): A wonderful location for a holiday stay! - This property was in a beautiful location! It’s about a half hour from Lucerne and right next to Lake Zug. You walk out the door, cross a little road and are directly in a park next to the water where you can swim. Our boys (ages 9/13) spent all day in the water. The beds were very comfortable and Christa was a friendly and attentive hostess.

In summer it must be beautiful as it is really close to the - Everything was very clean and we had two separate bedrooms which was ideal for our family. We could make our own breakfast. A couple of good kitchen knives would have been helpful! No bread knife made cutting bread a little challenging. It smelt very strongly of bleach. After opening the door for a while this got better but it is off-putting to walk in and be confronted with such a strong smell.

• Arjan (4/5): Overpriced mediocre lakeside apartment - The location of the building was good because of good access to the lake and shops. The apartment was next to the parking area, and we had no lake view. The second bedroom was awful. There was a moldy, musty smell that was overwhelming. It's like a bad basement room that has too much moisture. The kitchen was small and was minimally equipped. However, there was no dishwasher and no scrubber or dish soap. The owner provided dish soap when asked and an old dirty scrubber. We bought our own... There were no extra garbage bags. We had to ask again. Asking for stuff is bothersome. Take note: No dishwasher, no washing machine, no AC. The bathroom is tiny and has no sink except for a toilet fountain size tap. The shower is small and dark.

• Vasisht (2/5): The experience was horrifying and we as a family were worried about our safety and privacy all during the 1st night and - The bedroom was made from a make shift storage area and the bathroom was attached to a common area. There was no privacy or safety as the area of the room and bathroom were accessible by anyone and it was very unsafe for us as a family.
• Asif (9/5): Picturesque lakeside town - Scenic lakeside location, small beautiful town, surrounded by lush green mountains. Lucerne is only a 30-minute car ride away, offering beautiful views of two separate lakes and passing through charming small towns. Everything was good.

The owner is very charming! A very minor point, but the lack of a bread knife and a cooks knife in the kitchen (for food prep) should be remedied.
