• Yvonne (8/5): A nice clean apartment and our host was very helpful. Also a lovely breakfast provided. - It was a lovely view and not too far to walk from the bus stop from the airport. Clean accommodation and our host was pleasant and helpful. The water wasn’t so hot in the bathroom on the evening but probably something to do with the boiler.

Vista mozzafiato sul Mar Tirreno, di cui si può godere direttamente dall’hotel. Camere molto pulite, accoglienti e spaziose — grandi, luminose e completamente attrezzate con tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Un ringraziamento speciale al manager dell’hotel, Oreste — una persona estremamente attenta e disponibile, sempre pronta ad aiutare con qualsiasi richiesta e a rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole e confortevole. Nessuna nota negativa — tutto è stato perfetto.

• Veronika (8/5): Příjemné ubytování v blízkosti centra - Ubytování kousek od centra Dublinu, autobus před domem, vlak cca 6 minut pěšky. Vše po ruce, včetně potravin i restaurací. Do Temple Bar jede také přímý autobus :-) A ubytovatel Shy je velmi příjemný.

• Dace (9/5): Jūtos priecīga un gandarīta, ka varēju savu darba komandējumu pavadīt Dublinā! - Atrašanās vieta ir ļoti laba- 20-25 minūšu gājiens līdz centram un galvenajiem apskates objektiem. Mazāk kā 50 metru attālumā ir autobusu pietura, kas arī atvieglo nokļūšanu centrā. Ar autobusu jābrauc apm. 15 min. Tuvumā atrodas veikals Eurospar, kur iegādāties visu nepieciešamo. Apmēram 5-7 minūšu gājienā, virzienā uz centru atrodas viens no atpazīstamajiem un slavenajiem krogiem Ferryman. Ferryman tuvumā ir ļoti skaists un moderns tilts un mākslas objekts ar nosaukumu Nirstošais zvans jeb Diving Bell. Ja grib krodziņā/restorānā paēst pusdienas vai vakariņas jārēķinās ar ap. 30-45 eur vienai personai. Ja vienkārši grib iedzert Guiness, tad robežās līdz 10 eur. Noteikti iesaku apmeklēt Īrijas vecāko krodziņu The Brazen Head (var lieliski apvienot ar Guiness Storehouse apmeklējumu!), The Hairy Lemon, The Temple Bar, restorāni-The Bank on College Green- ļoti grezns un klasiski elegants, atrodas Dublinas centrā, Duke@Lemon, gājēju ielas (Grafton Street) tuvumā. Uz gājēju ielas ir skaista, grezna kafejnīca Bewley's Oriental Cafes, kur var nobaudīt lielisko Bailey kafiju un arī citas garšīgas kafijas. Nav komentāru.
• Anna (10/5): Cozy apartment with a nice view. - Very nice property, we had a great stay. The host was lovely and very helpful. Location is perfect if you want to explore the city of Dublin,also the fact that there is parking available is a great bonus. All in all good experience.
• Patrick Ian (10/5): - Everything was perfect. Location was fantastic, just minutes from the Dart. Great supermarket en route. We stayed just one night but it was the best night of our trip. Shay was an excellent host with information and provided everything we needed for a deluxe evening and superb breakfast in the morning. Apart from our initial introduction we didn't see him again after that and we had a really cool apartment to enjoy with all the mod cons and brilliant balcony views. An absolutely top class stay!

Was very caring and helpful It wasn’t that I didn’t like it, but I just found it a bit strange as I didn’t realise it was a privately owned apartment with a “room to rent”. I am grateful for the location being close to ferry terminal

• Marzena (9/5): Good location - We stayed for one night and attended a show at the Bord Gais Theatre, which is less than a 3-minute walk from the apartment. The room was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The view from the apartment is stunning. Our host, Shey, was welcoming and helpful. We had a small trouble finding the place, but he came to pick us up and guided us in, which made our arrival seamless. Highly recommend for a convenient and comfortable stay. Nothing
• Leire (10/5): Muy acogedora - Shay fue muy amable con nosotros, nos preparó un desayuno variado y muy rico, además estuvo pendiente por si necesitábamos cualquier cosa. Nos sentimos muy bien acogidos y muy cómodos. El apartamento está en una zona tranquila a 30 minutos andando al centro, o a 10 minutos en bus que se coge al lado y viene cada muy pocos minutos. Las vistas de la habitación muy bonitas. Todo un lujo!! Repetiremos si volvemos a Dublín :)

A lot of nice dining options and pubs are close by, you can either walk into the city or enjoy the public transport easily! Absolutely recommended and we will certainly return another time!

• LauraMoo (10/5): Fantastic - Beautiful apartment, fantastic views overlooking the Aviva in the distance, the bed was so comfortable, and the place was quiet. Shay was a very welcoming and friendly host, and he prepared breakfast even though I was leaving at 7:45am. Overall, great stay! Nothing to add here.

• Peter (6/5): - Nice apartment with a good walk of interesting books in the living area, and a good view over the surrounding area We did not realise that the owner would also be living at the apartment in the next bedroom. We felt we had no privacy as we were never sure if and when he would arrive home. As it turned out we only saw him a couple of times and he was a very nice person but it was a surprise to us that he was living in the property while we were re renting it

Le fait de pouvoir garer la voiture en sous-sol de l'immeuble est un vrai plus, le centre ville est facilement accessible à pied.

Clean bedding & towels, we had our own bathroom and lock on the door so felt safe. Front door key didnt work, so we had to phone out host to open the door. He answered immediately which was great.

• Donna (1/5): Poor description of a shared flat with owner present - Location and view Advertised as shared kitchen and living room. This does not explain that you are sharing the flat with the owner who advised he would be around the whole time you were there. His clothes are in the cupboards of the bedroom and his bathroom products in the ensuite. Description needs to be clearer. This is booking.com not Airbnb. £400 for 3 nights in a shared flat with the owner there is just not good. Shay was a very nice person but that doesn't take away from the issues.

The apartment was neat and tidy. We didn’t spend much time in the apartment as we were busy sightseeing. Oil diffuser a little overpowering.

Great communicator, clear arrival and parking instructions which is important as his apartment is literally right by the canal. Room is large with huge picture window; bed is comfy. Bathroom is compact but everything works. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was very cozy and with nice view It was cold in the bedroom until the owner of the apartment didn't came back, also I didn't know that I must share the apartment with him.

• Narelle (8/5): A one nighter, near Temple Bar Dublin - This was an ensuited room in the owners apartment with shared living and kitchen facilities. Large room and bed was comfy. Sizeable ensuite. Ample continental brekky provided as part of our 'deal.' Use of communal kitchen for tea and coffee available 24/7. Although we didnt, I understand we could have used the kitchen to heat up, possibly cook/prepare evening meals. The Host Shay was very obliging and quick to respond to any queries. Secure car parking was provided. Assessable by lift/elevator. It was about a 20-30 min leisurely walk to Temple Bar area of Dublin. Unfortunately there was no hot water for our evening shower. Possibly the host forgot to turn it on, as there was plenty in the morning. A minor oversight??? We just boiled the jug and had a warm wash down before retiring. Being senior travellers, we had not encountered a 'shared' situation before, so we were a little hesitant as to how it would work. However, we did have a lot of privacy during our one night stay and saw very little of Shay.

• T (9/5): Perfect with reasonable price - Some people wrote that there is no way you can lock the door to the balcony. In fact it is pretty easy. You just have to first push the handle the other way. Then it is possible to lock the door. When it comes to the breakfast, we had the possibility to use the owners milk and cereals or tea. Other than that, there was nothing else for the breakfast that I am concerned about. The locality was perfect and balcony has beautiful skyline. I would definitely suggest this accomodation. Shay is a good person and he helped us multiple times to choose what to see in the city. Breakfasts were not by my expectations but other than that nothing.

• Bob (9/5): Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom in nice flat on 6th floor, good location - The host Shay, who lives in a nice apartment at the 6th floor Grand Canal Dock, rents a bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom. You can use his kitchen to make coffee or tea, and in the morning he prepares a breakfast. We liked the location of the flat at walking distance of Dublin Center. The Grand Canal Dock Area is a modern gentrified neighbourhood near Dublin Port. The bedroom (and flat) is comfortable. A bonus is the private parking space in the underground garage. Nothing that I disliked. You have to be comfortable with the idea of sleeping in someone else's flat while he lives there, but then we had the impression that Shay stayed in his room to give us more privacy while we were in.
