• Meda (10/5): Beautiful, well thought out apartment with a very welcoming host, highly recommend! - We booked last minute and the host was already waiting for us at the apartment. She welcomed us very warmly and gave great restaurant recommendations. The apartment had everything we needed, and you could really see that attention was paid to every detail from cookies prepared for guests to small thoughtful items like a nail file in the bathroom. The location is excellent, and there is free parking right next to the apartment. The apartment itself is freshly renovated, with a very nice interior we especially loved the paintings in the room. Nothing — everything was great.

It is easy to feel comfortable! We also were able to park right in front of the accommodation and the contact was very easy. Thank you for having us!

• Adrian (10/5): Lovely location for exploring Berat. - Its wonderfully situated in central Berat, with the trek up to the amazing castle starting just outside the door. The host was very welcoming and helpful and we had some lovely snacks available to us. All this, and very reasonably priced. Nothing, all good.

The hosts were lovely, and the room was comfortable with beautiful wood beam ceiling and a lovely modern bathroom. The room had a refrigerator inside, and provided an electric kettle for the guest. Plus, homemade cookies! Because it was in such a perfect central location, there was more noise than if it had been somewhere further away.

Petites attentions dans l’entrée à partager, cookies et boissons chaudes. Pour la voiture place réservée devant la maison. 1 matin douche froide car plombs avaient sauté, l’hôte était vraiment désolée et nous a offert un café!

• Knaab (10/5): Perfect Stay in the old town of Berat! - We had such a pleasant stay at Te Porta. Valentina was really accommodating. She greeted us at arrival and gave us many great recommendations! The cookies at the entry were so tasty as well! The location is perfect to discover Berat and most importantly parking was directly in front of the accommodation. The rooms were nicely renovated and had a great view! We can only recommend to stay here when you visit Berat! Great value for the price.

The host was extremely accomodating and welcoming, gave us some great recommendations for the area and a few welcome treats (including a very strong raki). The room was beautiful, clean and spacious, with nice decor. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Berat.

Great location in the Old Town to explore Berat - at the bottom of the hill to the castle and a very short walk to the public bus stop (which goes to the bus terminal for Tirana and many other locations). Sara and Valentina were amazing hosts! They provided great restaurant recommendations for food and places for coffee. The room was very quiet, great modern bathroom and comfortable bed. The best place I stayed during my two weeks in Albania! Nothing - Te Porta was great.

Le logement est très bien situé pour visiter Berat. Des attentions très agréables : pommes, thé,biscuits.. La chambre est petite,mais la superficie était indiquée,donc pas de surprise. Matelas un peu dur.

Ek olarak Türkçe'de konuşuyor. Oda hakkında ise yine hiçbir sorun yoktu çok temiz ve güzeldi odadaki tablolar odaya ayrı bir hava katıyordu.

• Martha (9/5): Good Value and Location in Berat! - The location is good, very convenient for exploring Old Town and the castle. Plenty of good restaurants/bars nearby, and an excellent wine tasting shop just at the bottom of the road! Good air con during a heat wave, great bed, excellent shower, overall a comfortable stay. There is a short uphill roll with luggage, but so nice to have no stairs inside! A great renovation of a historic structure! Communication was good, the owners will certainly try to help if you have questions or need anything! (I was also very happy to not be in the center of town as live music was blasting till the early morning hours! This location is an easy walk to the festival area, but far enough away to sleep well.) I think an actual chair would work better in the room, and scheduling the cash payment should be better arranged.

The house is newly renovated with a modern touch and equipped with a very efficient air conditioning system, which made our stay very comfortable. The host was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for breakfast. We also appreciated the convenient private parking at the property. All in all, a very pleasant stay in a modern and nicely located apartment. We definitely would come back!

Todo impecable, súper cómodo y limpio, insonorizado (no oímos nada de otras personas por la noche) decoración con muy buen gusto, buenas camas , buena ducha , buen sistema de A/C. Het is jammer dat we de kamer niet verduisteren konden. Vooral in de zomer als het al om 04:30 uur licht wordt is dit geen overbodige luxe.

Location is absolutely perfect. A few minutes from the central bus stop and great walking distance to everything you want to see whilst in town. I would recommend over and over.

The bathroom is modern, we slept in cosy bed, in a silent area in the Mangalem Quarter. Everything was super clean - we enjoyed our stay!

The moment we opened the communal door we were met with a clean fragrance. A kettle, tea, fresh apples, biscuits and homemade jam were provided completely. These little touches make a difference. The room was compact, but functional, a blend of modern with traditional touches. The bathroom was tastefully decorated with a very satisfying high pressure rain shower. The owners met us on departure (it was self-check in), to give their kind regards. The communications were excellent, even though we booked just a few hours before arrival. Berat went lovely, so we extended our stay for a second day.

Very comfortable bed, pillows and good quality sheets. White, soft and super clean towels as well as a spacious relaxing bathroom. The entire experience equalls the accommodation in a very good hotel. The host is very friendly and Berat hospitality is shown everywhere in the house in the small nice details. Candies await you when you enter the door and you can take a homemade rakia bottle or jam when you leave.
