Welcoming visitors from all walks of life to his home at Austin Ferry/ Hobart / Tasmania. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Papa Joe's - going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and had what we needed. Very welcoming to his home. Thank you. We aim to be back in the future. There is so much more to see in Tasmania.

• Neil (8/5): A good place to stay in Hobart's northern suburbs - The property has good kitchen facilities for self-catering and some breakfast/lunch ingredients are supplied. The bedroom and bathroom are fairly spacious and there is an outside terrace. It is in a quiet residential area. Host Joe is very welcoming and helpful. The driveway is steep and I preferred to park on the street. Not really suitable for those using public transport. A bit far from central Hobart for those wanting to go there but a good base for visiting areas north of the city.

• Elyahu (9/5): HAKOL HAYA BESSEDER הכל היה בסדר Which is in Hebrew : All was O.K. - Joe has left us some food ingredients at the refrigerator although the apartment did NOT include breakfast. Joe has assisted us with luggage carrying due to the difficult parking - on a steep slope. The parking was very difficult due to the topography of the small alley in which the apartment is located : A steep slope ( which applies as well to other buildings at the small alley). It was impossible to park next to the apartment , so I parked upstairs at the street - and here Joe has assisted us by taking our luggage in his own car and bringing it to the apartment - and the same but opposite direction at check out. Otherwise it would have been impossible for us to "deal" with the luggage. We did NOT have to ask Joe for the above assistance - Joe has offered his services IN ADVANCE HS
• Zara (8/5): Very good - Joe's place was exactly as described, his communication as a host was fantastic. There were little touches that would welcome anyone - bidet, wine, even some basics like bread and cheese. Extra blankets.
