• Erika Amparo (8/5): - The place was as shown in the pictures. It was clean. Nice sofa and comfortable bed. Also, big TV for a movie night. Functional kitchen with the essentials to have a nice stay. I would give it a 10/10 if the owner had told me before hand that the light could get off in the room and I needed to move the switch in the kitchen.

• Ines Stephanie (5/5): Left in the dark (literally and figuratively) - The interior of the apartment is very nice, and comfortable. Hairdryer, nice shower, big tv, and well stocked kitchen (no microwave though). It was good value for one night. The communication with the owner was non existent. We didn't get any instructions ahead of time about checking in, so I had to call the owner. Around midnight, I turned on the oven, which turned off the power completely. The owner didn't respond, and I ended up throwing away my food since it was gonna go bad without electricity. Luckily I was only here for one night, but it was very inconvenient. I ended up finding the breaker box in the kitchen cupboard in the morning, after having relentlessly searched the rest of the room and the hallway. The shower also has a gross stain, and the oven tray was very dirty.

• Ioulia (7/5): Convenient. - The person in charge of the apartment - who is not the owner, though - is very polite, friendly and helpful. It was great knowing he lives downstairs and is available and near to help. The apartment is nicely decorated, comfy bed, comfy sofa, big TV with streaming services and black out curtains if you sleep in the living room. There is a steep and narrow stair to go up. There is no central heating, but two electrical heaters which don't really warm the room. Check-in was a bit challenging or 'old-school': the host sent no information in advance - you have to notice on the Booking confirmation that you are supposed to contact them. I wrote a message the morning of the arrival to ask about check-in and just got a reply "you get keys on arrival", from which I had to deduce we had to make an actual appointment with the arrival time. It would have been easier to just get infos and the code to the keybox that exists anyway.
• Dominika (7/5): - The apartment is big and comfortable, and the owner was quick to help when we had small problems. It was a bit cold in the living room, even with the space heater on. There wasn't a lot of storage space for our clothes.
• Van Baaren (7/5): Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding op loopafstand van het centrum - Naar aanleiding van de recensies gingen wij goed voorbereid op pad. Maar het heeft ons overtroffen. Het appartement was heel erg schoon, goede bedden, leuke huiskamer, prima keuken met afwasmiddel en kruiden ed. Hou er rekening mee er is 1 koekenpan en 1 kookpan, maar eetgelegenheid in Antwerpen genoeg. Prima elektrische kachels, die de ruimte goed verwarmen. Alleen de waterkoker en de kachel niet tegelijk aanzetten, dan slaat de stop door. Maar als je dat weet, is het een kleine moeite om daar rekening mee te houden. Heerlijke warme douche, extra wc papier aanwezig net zoals shampoo/douchegel. Prima afstand om te lopen naar het centrum van Antwerpen. Contact met de eigenaar! Hij reageert niet of heel erg laat. Wel het nummer van de beheerder gekregen en die communiceerde wel gelijk of kwam gelijk langs als er een probleem zich voordeed. De beheerder heeft enorm zijn best gedaan!

• Ger (7/5): Prima ligging en goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. - Simpel maar prima accomodatie. Parkeren heel dichtbij. Korte loopafstand centraal station. Interieur had een onderhoudsbeurtje nodig.
• PAULA (3/5): Bastante mal - - La ubicación está bien al lado del centro y de la estación central de Amberes. - A diferencia de otros apartamentos no te requiere fianza (única razón por la que escogimos) - No funcionaba el agua caliente que al parecer hay otra gente en comentarios que ha tenido el mismo problema por lo que no se si es muy fiable - La comunicación con el hospedaje no fue muy buena. Los mensajes no eran claros y cuando tuvimos el problema del agua no contestó ningun mensaje ni respondía llamadas. Tampoco tenía mucha flexibilidad para solucionar nuestro problema a la mañana siguiente. Por suerte dormimos ahí solo una noche - Las sabanas del sofá cama estaban viejas y daba la impresión de suciedad ya que tenían manchas. Y las almohadas del sofá cama eran muy cutres. - El baño también daba la impresión de estar sucio el plato de ducha por lo que si vas recomiendo chanclas.

• Stephanie (4/5): Extrêmement décevant - Le logement était propre et les volumes agréables. Extrêmement déçus de notre expérience dans ce logement. Tout d'abord, ce studio est des plus basiques avec beaucoup d'équipements manquants : - pas de table pour manger (juste une table basse avec une seule chaise) - pas de torchon pour essuyer la vaisselle - pas de tapis de bain - Les plaques à gaz ne s'allument pas seules et il n'y avait pas d'allumettes à disposition et pas non plus de micro-ondes. Il n'y avait qu'une seule poêle, pas de casserole, ni de saladier ou de passoire et une seule petite cuillère pour 3... Bref, si vous pensez cuisiner, passez votre chemin. Nous avons réservé pour 3 personnes et il n'y avait que 2 serviettes de bain et un seul jeu de draps. Côté sommeil, la chambre est bien, en revanche il n'y a pas de volets et les rideaux sont trop courts et non occultants. Si vous pensez utiliser le canapé-lit, sachez que l'une des fenêtres du salon se trouve devant un lampadaire et une autre ne peut être occultée car elle est traversée par un conduit de ventilation. Impossible donc d'avoir une pièce obscure pour dormir. De plus le logement est mal isolé et la rue est très bruyante. Il y a un gros souci avec la température de l'eau de la douche. Impossible de la régler, elle change toute seule et l'eau est soit gelée soit brûlante. C'est hyper dangereux avec un jeune enfant. Enfin, le quartier est un peu bizarre : rues sales, nombreuses personnes zonnant ou alcoolisées... Le stationnement à proximité est cher. Bref, je ne recommande pas pour une famille.

En als je s'avonds nog een filmpje wilt kijken, mooie grote tv Het is erg gehorig en als er iemand in de woonkamer op de slaapbank moet slapen is er veel licht ( in de nacht van een buitenlamp en als de zon op komt)

• Kamila (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, very close to the city's center, really nice, affordable apartment. The host was very friendly and helpful, and he even organised an extra hairdryer for us in the early morning. I can fully recommend this place!

• Paul (5/5): Overall poor value for money, would not recommend. - The location is ok, unfortunately this is probably the only good thing about it. One bed flat located in an old, what looks like a delerict building from the outside. Inside very basic facilities and decoration. Poor single glazed windows, which let in all the street noise. Groups of drunken people talking loudly and swearing outside the property early in the morning. To top everything up, this was the only time in many years of booking accommodation that I got told off for arriving late for check in.

• Carol (9/5): Lovely apartment. Great base from which to explore Antwerp and surroundings. - True to the photos, a smart little apartment. Well equipped with nice attention to detail. Comfortable bed, good shower. Located in multicultural area just ten minutes or so walk from the central train station. Good clear communication from the host and assistant helped us to find the property and manage parking. It is on the first floor up done steep steps, so please be aware of you have mobility issues. Parking does have a cost attached: local underground car park was €22:50 per 24 hrs.
• Jeffery (9/5): Clean apartment, fantastic host, fabulous location. - You will not find a kinder or more helpful host in Antwerp. We arrived by coach that was delayed several times so I had to keep updating our arrival time. The owner was understanding and waiting for us at the.appartment when we arrived. Staying here will help a small business and local people - much better for the community than a chain hotel. The apartment was exceptionally clean throughout. The bed was huge and the mattress incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was well set out to maximize space and had plenty of shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper... The kitchen seemed brand new with a lovely cooker and hob, kettle and coffee machine and plenty of utensils. The living space was fresh and modern with a huge TV and a very comfortable sofa bed. The apartment has had new additions since I made my booking so it is clear that the owner is trying to make improvements. It is less than a 10 minute walk from the central train station, coach and bus park and tram stops where you can find numerous bars and restaurants also. Tourist attractions are in walking distance: 20 mins walk to the grote market area. This said, the apartment is off a side road so very little noise at night. Very little to put in this box 😁. A bath mat would be useful for when stepping out of the shower. Not a complaint for us but the access stairs were fairly steep and narrow so maybe a concern for some.
• Alex (5/5): Not ready to host - The location is central and the price was OK, but that's about it. There is no heating system in the rooms. There are two electric heaters which take hours to get the room to a decent temperature in winter. When you are expecting guests, the right thing to do would be to preheat the rooms, that didn't happen. In the kitchen/living room with the sofa bed, the temperature was 11°C and it took hours to get it up to a decent 18°C for sleeping, maybe also because there is a ventilation hole (or something) right behind the sofa bed where cold air comes in the entire time. When lying in bed you feel the ice cold draft so I had to stuff it with the couch pillows. The warm water heater is ancient and was not working. We tried and we tried but had to call the host at some point. It took him about 10 minutes to get the warm water going in the morning. Since we were three people waiting to shower and in a hurry it was very inconvenient. The bad was not made. The sheets were received in a bag. I've never had to make my own bed in a place I paid for in 20 years of travels. Lastly, we paid the city tax in cash at the property, which was 9 euro. We gave the host 10 euros and he didn't even bother to bring us change or at last say something. I mean, it's a small amount but still, it's a matter of principle.
